The aim of the study is to find a correlation of motor abilities and endurance with personality traits of soldiers in a battle unit of the Slovenian Armed Forces (SAF). The subject sample consists of ...94 soldiers serving in the 1st brigade of the SAF aged 21 to 36. The results show that the soldiers who did worse in the tests of coordination, are more suppressed, neurotic, impulsive, introverted and less sociable. Neurotics also did worse in the test of balance and impulsive soldiers excelled on the test of speed. The soldiers that did better in the endurance test are calmer and less sociable, while calmness and masculinity correlate positively with repetitive strength.
