The frequency of contact allergens in the patients with professional contact dermatitis (1982-1986 year). Over the period from 1982-1986, 982 patients with contact allergic dermatitis were tested ...with standard or target allergen batteries at the Department of Dermatovenerology in Skopje. We present the results of our study. In 89 % of cases contact hypersensitivity to one or several allergens was confirmed. The most frequent allergens still are: Kalium Bichromate, Nickel Sulphate, Cobalt Nitrate, Ursol etc. The reasons of increased number of patients with contact allergic dermatitis and the frequency of contact allergens are discussed.
