The purpose of this study was to investigate the process and effectiveness of utilizing music activities to promote the social skills on children with autism spectrum ...disorders. The case study design was adopted to promote the following three social skills: (1) say hello initiatively; (2) shake hand with others; (3) answer the phone. The target participants of this case study were four students with Autism Spectrum Disorders in an elementary school. Regarding the implementing process, the researcher collected qualitative data of classroom video observation, interviews with their special education teachers and the researcher’s reflection journal. A total of three pilot lessons and twelve formal music activity lessons were conducted. All music activities were recorded and were analyzed after every activity.
Findings obtained from this study were as follows:
1. Regarding the development of the social skill programs through music activities:
(1) The researcher set up the social skill targe

Many survivors after stroke suffered postural and balance problems that limited daily life activities. Virtual reality (VR) balance training had already been used in stroke ...rehabilitation, and previous studies supported that it could improve balance ability and increase motivation and pleasure than conventional methods. Kinect for Xbox is a new commercial VR game system which can detect subject’s activities without any body-attached marks and hand-held controllers. Few of studies had investigated the rehabilitation effects on balance with Kinect for patients with stroke.
PURPOSE
The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of virtual reality balance training through Kinect for Xbox games in patients with chronic stroke.
METHODS
Sixty patients (mean age: 56.28±9.80) with mild to moderate motor deficits (Brunnstrom stage: 4.33± 1.40) were recruited and randomly assigned to "VR plus standard rehabilitation group"(n=30), and "standard rehabilitation group" (n=30). After 12 tra

The purpose of this present study was to examine the relationships among attachment toward parental attachment, public self-consciousness, and solitude experience among ...male and female young adult.
Convenience sampling was used in the study. A sample of 412 youth adults was recruited through personal connection. There were consisted of 147 male and 265 female. The measurements adopted in this study included the Scale of Relationships Structures Questionnaire-Chinese, the Scale of Self-Consciousness Scale, and the Scale of Solitude Experience. The data were analyzed by applying descriptive statistics, one-way analysis of variance, Pearson product moment correlation analysis and structural equation modeling.
The findings of this study were summarized as follow:
1. There existed significant gender differences on levels of public self-consciousness and positive experience of solitude experience. Specifically, female youth adults reported higher levels of public self-consciousness and

Abstract
Zhu Xi used the form of oaring folk songs to chant the scenery of Wuyi, besides integrating the beautiful scenery of Wuyi and local folk culture into songs, we can also ...peek the life feelings of the poet advocating benevolence policy from oaring folk songs. Therefore, in this article, according to the research in political philosophy, economic system, social reform and education advocation, we can understand the statecraft ideology of Zhu Xi and discuss the fundamental concern of him as a life practitioner.
This article is divided into two parts: one part is especially for understanding the Wuyi oaring folk songs, another part is discussing Zhu Xi’s credit of advocating benevolence policy. Then find out his true inner thoughts when swinging between government official and hermit from these two parts to clarify his life feelings which is dedicated to advocating benevolence policy.
There are six chapters in this article, and the main idea is described as follows:

The purpose of this study is to explore the learning interaction of children participating in hands-on educational activities. After literature reviews, a fossil digging ...activity was chosen to be the case study, the field site at National Taiwan Museum, and children visitors as the main research participants.
Based on field observation, a detailed record of the children’s individual participation and interaction between their peers were documented. The children’s own personal accounts were recorded as well after interacting with the activity. 20 participants were collected using purposive sampling, after the analysis of the data and literature reviews, the conclusion is as follows:
As the children participate with hands-on activities, adults help children by providing them with a variety of learning methods. In the learning process, adults often give children learning cues and guidance with questions. This encourages the children to interact with their peers as well as individually expl

Tea is widely consumed for over several thousand years in Mandarin China. Up to these days, tea has become the most consumed beverages around the world. In Taiwan, oolong tea ...is the most popular tea because of its unique flavor and taste. Astringent taste is considered to be one of the characteristics that lower the quality of oolong tea. The main substances causing astringent taste in oolong tea are catechins. Catechins can be further divided into two subgroups, non-gallate-type catechins and gallate-type catecins. It has been shown that gallate-type catecins are far more astringent than non-gallate-type catechins. In tea trees, the main non-gallate-type catechins are (-)-epicatechin (EC) and (-)-epigallocatechin (EGC), and the main gallate-type ones are (-)-epicatechin gallate (ECG) and (-)-epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG). Oolong tea produced from leaves of Camellia sinensis L. cultivated at higher altitude are generally tasted less astringent than those grown at lower altitude becaus

Organic light-emitting materials have attracted considerable interest for recent years. In particular, aggregation induced emission (AIE) material have been focus of many recent ...studies, especially the effect of structural changes in organic light-emitting material. In this thesis, we introduce the AIE mechanism in detail. Based on the mechanistic understanding, we developed a series of new aggregation-induced emission compounds such as tetra (1-naphthyl) phenyl N-substituted phthalicamindes, which contain different substituents. Then, we explore the AIE effect of these compounds by measurement of fluorescence properties, absorption spectrum, emission spectrum and quantum yield. And we explore the solvent effect of these compounds.

The purpose of the study was to understand the leisure participation and leisure constraints of the residents of Shihzih Township in Pingtung County, to analyze the effects of ...the different background variables on leisure participation and leisure constraints and to further explore the relation between leisure participation and leisure constraints.
This study adopted questionnaire, aiming at residents in Shihzih Township, Pingtung County. Total of 382 questionnaires were given out using purposive sampling with the valid 346 questionnaires return and 92.9% effective response rate. Analyzing the collected data by descriptive statistics, item analysis, factor analysis, reliability analysis, t-test, single factor multivariate analysis of variance, Sheffe’s post hoc comparison and canonical correlation, the results were as follows:
1. For leisure participation, most of the residents of Shihzih Township in Pingtung County participated in “social” and “recreational”acitivities. For leisure co
