The aims of this study are carrimg out the intervention program to enhance the preventive health
service utilization rates in foreign spouses’ children.
The research targets the ...new immigrants living at Ji An Township, Hualien County as its main
research subjects. There are 100 people select by a purposive sampling, 50 people are randomly assigned
to the experimental group, and another 50 people are allocated to the control group.
Activities based on social support intervention strategies and the Health Belief Model carries out the
design of intervention measures, and the experimental group assess the effectiveness of intervention.The
results of the study are as follows:
1. The experimental group and control group of nationalities of foreign spouses’ children in the utilization
rates of preventive health service is no significant difference（P=0.199 & P=0.244）.

This paper discusses how will the market quality change after the MOU agreement between Taiwan and China. Taiwan Fifty component Stocks are selected to compare the market ...quality before and after the MOU agreement are signed. The study uses the ask-bid spread, market depth and return volatility as the proxies of market quality. This study sets the day before the signing of this MOU as periodⅠ,the day after the signing of this MOU as periodⅡ, the day after the effective of this MOU as periodⅢ. To be aimed at the effects of MOU event on the stock market quality of Taiwan, separately in the period before the date of signing of this MOU, the whole period MOU and after the date of effective of this MOU.
Results of this study show that a return volatility (ask-bid spread, market depth) increase is followed by the liquidity trader decrease and probability of informed trading (PIN) increase after the date of signing of this MOU (2009/11/16). After the date of effective of this MOU (2010/01/16

This study combined school course with teaching activity of museum visit to design a teaching activity suitable for third grade students of elementary schools. This action ...research used methods, such as interviews, observations, and document analysis, to collect data. The research purpose is to develop integrated theme course combined with museum resources, investigate the implementation process, improve students’ learning effectiveness and reflect on the design after the course implementation. The results showed that:

(1)Diversified activity design can provide various characterization methods to enable children develop clear thinking.

The new version of Basel Capital Accord has been formally rectified in the end of June, 2004. In order to follow the worldwide trend, the new version will also be executed in ...Taiwan. Among all contemporary structural modules of credit risk assessing models, the most prevalently implemented model is the KMV model. However, because the economic system in Taiwan, which is mainly based on small and medium enterprises and thus is deprived of market information, is unique, private firm model (PFM) developed by Moody's KMV Company is therefore employed to calculate the probability of default (PD) so as to quantify credit risk. However, private firm model has a lot of defects and relevant literature has shown that the application of PFM is not effective. This paper focuses on the issue of the electoral and partisan cycles in legislative elections in Japan, Singapore, South Korea, and Taiwan. The panel data models are adopted and ...variables in models are including government expenditures, government revenues, electoral and partisan dummy variables. The annual data covers the period 1986-2006. The empirical results show that the government expenditures would increase and the government revenues would decrease when legislative election was coming. There is a sufficient evidence to support the electoral cycles. However, the empirical results do not support partisan cycles. We use the unemployment rate and the inflation rate to examine partisan cycles again. The results show that the unemployment rate would be lower and the inflation rate would be higher when the left-wing legislators lead the legislative than the right-wing legislators lead the legislative; however the impacts are not significant. The main purpose of this research is to study aspects of life education implementation in elementary schools from 2001 to 2010 and the following effects. The method used ...in this research is meta-analysis, which makes use of digital information resources and trace-back method to search for related references with keywords including life education, life and death education, and death education. It then sifts out related periodical papers, theses and dissertations. With the use of statistical technology of meta-analysis, the research results synthesized 56 related references along with the integrated evaluation of the effects of life education in elementary schools. Results of this research are listed as follows:
1.The whole weighted average effect size of life education in elementary schools is 0.443, which is close to medium intensity of positive effects.

The case study method is used in this research to examine the case company’s post-M&A performance and key success factor (KSF) in M&A. The results show that there are ways a ...company can enhance its overall performance, for example by improving asset utilization efficiency and financial structure in M&A activities. The KSF for M&A include effective integration of human resources, rapid building an information platform, sharing resources such as R&D, improving manufacturing techniques, distribution channels etc. It is shown that synergy in M&A therefore results from management rather than from M&A itself.

The purpose of the study is to investigate the correlation and difference of the importance and satisfaction between the demographic variable and the service quality of the bank.
In the Cross-Analysis, the P value in occupation is under 0.05 in the aspects of Tangible, reliability, and responsiveness. This result tells that the gender of the subjects has significant correlative to the service quality in the aspects of Tangible, reliability, and responsiveness.
The P value of responsiveness in marriage is under 0.05. This indicates the significant correlation between marriage and service quality satisfaction.
When the subjects are divided according to annual salary spacing, there is a significant difference about “the important of Tangibles" in service quality to the clients.

Background：The female new immigrants face the transcultural impact with the difficulty to the Taiwanese culture, which will affect their living conditions, and the maintenance ...and promotion of personal health, becomes high risk group of

Objectives: This study aims to explore the demographic characteristics and the levels of cultural identity are respectively related to the health promotion life style among new immigrant women in Taiwan.
Methods：In this study, a cross-sectional design was adopted and 200 new immigrant women were recruited, which was conveniently sampled and conducted in the community. The questionnaire including demographic characteristics, Cultural Identity Scale and Health Promoting Lifestyle Profile – II (HPLP-II).
