Abstract
The issues of optimal use of strength resources of materials from which elements of thin-walled objects of the agro-industrial complex are made for the purpose of sustainable development of ...agricultural production are currently coming to the fore. In this regard, the development of modern algorithms for the numerical analysis of the processes of physically nonlinear deformation of thin-walled objects of agro-industrial complex of various sizes and shapes is becoming a rather urgent topic. The article proposes an algorithm for the finite element analysis of physically nonlinear deformation of thin-walled objects of the agro-industrial complex, taking into account the transverse shear, based on the hypotheses of the theory of plastic flow The element of discretization of the thin-walled object of the agricultural and industrial complex was a four-node fragment of its middle surface. The stiffness matrix of this sampling unit was obtained in the process of minimizing the Lagrange functional with respect to the sought nodal parameters, which were the components of the step vector of displacement and their first-order partial derivatives, as well as the components of the step vector of the angles of rotation of the normal.
To study the prognostic significance of inflammatory biomarkers in patients with chronic heart failure (CHF) and stenotic multivessel coronary atherosclerosis, with determination of the biomarker ...separate set that reflects subclinical inflammation and is associated with the development of cardiovascular complications during prospective observation.
A prospective observational study was conducted that included 80 patients with CHF and ischemic heart disease who were scheduled for coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) during their current hospitalization. In addition to routine clinical laboratory tests, coagulation parameters were evaluated and the following inflammatory biomarkers were determined: neutrophil gelatinase-associated lipocalin (NGAL), growth/differentiation factor 15 (GDF-15), fibroblast growth factor 23 (FGF-23), transforming growth factor beta-1 (TGF-β1), and high-sensitivity C-reactive protein. Also, the calculated neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio (N LR) was included in the analysis. Follow-up duration was at least 12 months (median 16 13, 22 months). Statistical analysis of the data was performed with the IBM SPSS Statistics 21 software.
The study presented results of a factor analysis of 10 inflammatory biomarkers in patients who were scheduled for CABG. One of the factors identified by the analysis included the levels of NGAL and GDF-15, N LR, and the level of fibrinogen in the blood in CHF patients with stenotic coronary atherosclerosis and was significantly associated with the death rate during prospective observation. Furthermore, this association remained significant even after adjustments for age, glomerular filtration rate, severity of heart and coronary insufficiency, and the presence of diabetes mellitus.
In patients with CHF and stenotic coronary atherosclerosis, a set of inflammatory markers, including blood NGAL, GDF-15, N LR, and fibrinogen, can be combined into one factor reflecting subclinical inflammation. The value of this factor can be used to predict cardiovascular death in the long term after surgical myocardial revascularization.
Treatment algorithms for systemic sclerosis have not been completely developed. Effectivity of medications are usually used in clinical practice has a low level of evidence. Therefore, it is ...necessary to find a new treatment approaches for this nosological form. In the paper described clinical case of olokizumab treatment in a patient with diffuse systemic sclerosis with interstitial lung disease, polyserositis, severe microcirculatory alterations.
We comment on the recent paper by V.D. Antsygin et al. Opt. Commun. 309 (2013) 333–337, in which for the first time dispersions of refractive indices nx,z in lithium triborate (LBO) were presented ...for the THz domain. Their claim of “nx>nz”, based on measurements by THz time-domain spectroscopy (TDS), is contrary to the well-known relationship for the maximum transparency region.
High optical quality centimeter sized GaS crystals are grown using a modified vertical Bridgman method with heat field rotation of the growth melt. Ordinary and extraordinary wave refractive index ...dispersions are studied by THz time-domain spectroscopy (THz-TDS). New dispersion equations are designed to be suitable for estimating dispersion properties of solid solution GaSe

crystals from the near IR through the mid-IR and further into the THz range.
THz-TDS spectroscopy was used to compile new dispersion equations for GaS. Thus, a precise phase matching estimation in Ga(Se,S) mixed crystals is possible.
Results from model studies of the possibility of creating a source of high-power picosecond pulses of terahertz radiation via optical rectification and phase-matched down conversion of femtosecond ...pulses of Ti:Sapphire lasers in a nonlinear LBO crystal are presented. Modified Sellmeier equations are used in calculations. It is shown that the lengths of coherence for the generation of THz radiation at frequencies higher than 0.5 THz are more than 0.5 mm, allowing the technologically simple production of periodic structures. The maximum length of coherence is achieved for

This manuscript summarizes consensus reached by the International Anorectal Physiology Working Group (IAPWG) for the performance, terminology used, and interpretation of anorectal function testing ...including anorectal manometry (focused on high-resolution manometry), the rectal sensory test, and the balloon expulsion test. Based on these measurements, a classification system for disorders of anorectal function is proposed. Aim to provide information about methods of diagnosis and new classification of functional anorectal disorders to a wide range of specialists general practitioners, therapists, gastroenterologists, coloproctologists all who face the manifestations of these diseases in everyday practice and determine the diagnostic and therapeutic algorithm. Current paper provides agreed statements of IAPWG Consensus and comments (in italics) of Russian experts on real-world practice, mainly on methodology of examination. These comments in no way intended to detract from the provisions agreed by the international group of experts. We hope that these comments will help to improve the quality of examination based on the systematization of local experience with the use of the methods discussed and the results obtained. Key recommendations: the International Anorectal Physiology Working Group protocol for the performance of anorectal function testing recommends a standardized sequence of maneuvers to test rectoanal reflexes, anal tone and contractility, rectoanal coordination, and rectal sensation. Major findings not seen in healthy controls defined by the classification are as follows: rectoanal areflexia, anal hypotension and hypocontractility, rectal hyposensitivity, and hypersensitivity. Minor and inconclusive findings that can be present in health and require additional information prior to diagnosis include anal hypertension and dyssynergia.
A high-power source of ultrawideband radiation with elliptical polarization was developed on the basis of exciting a conical helical antenna by a bipolar voltage pulse with a length of 1 ns. The ...antenna parameters were preliminarily estimated using analytical formulas and then optimized via numerical simulation. The results of low-voltage test measurements were compared with the data that were obtained using a program that was developed on the basis of the finite-difference method in the time domain. In high-voltage measurements, the energy efficiency of the radiator was 0.85 and the coefficient of the hodograph ellipticity measured along the antenna axis was 0.9. The effective radiation potential of the source at an amplitude of bipolar voltage pulses of 190 kV was 270 kV, while the efficiency with respect to the peak field strength was 1.35. The high-power source of ultrawideband radiation operated at a pulse repetition frequency of 100 Hz.
THz optical properties of lithium borate (LBO) crystals were measured using time-domain spectroscopy (TDS). The LBO crystal samples were of high optical quality and were cut and polished along the ...〈100〉, 〈010〉 and 〈001〉 axes. Two independent measurements were performed in order to confirm the reproducibility and consistency of results. The contradictions in the previously published data on the THz optical properties of LBO were clarified. It was shown that the birefringence order at THz frequencies is nz<nx<ny, whereas at optical frequencies it is known to be nx<ny<nz. It was seen that nz, which has the highest value in the visible, has the lowest value at THz. This is explained in terms of ionic polarizability and is consistent with the fact that the THz absorption coefficient for a wave polarized along the Z-axis is more than an order of magnitude lower than for the X and Y axes. Absorption as low as 0.2 cm−1 was found at frequencies up to 0.5 THz for a wave polarized parallel to the Z-axis. A set of new dispersion equations was designed for the entire transparency range.
