This research aimed to identify the plant bioregulator with lower environmental risk for improving fruit and grape production through the comprehensive field, laboratory, and computational experiments. Plant bioregulators are compounds playing a vital role in the development of plants, regulating diverse cellular processes. Among these compounds, Ormoroc and Globaryll are widely known formulations extensively applied for improving the quality of crops. However, overusing bioregulators in food production has led to their presence in different water resources, threatening to designate them as severe pollutants of natural resources. Field experiments were conducted to identify which bioregulator improves the quality of selected fruit and grape varieties. The laboratory study involved photolysis and hydrolysis experiments in pure and rain waters, aimed at studying the stability of the mentioned bioregulators under naturally occurring conditions. The laboratory experiments also included the exploration of chemical and biochemical oxygen demand. The computational analysis involved density functional theory calculations and molecular dynamics simulations in investigating how the structural characteristics of the compounds affect their local reactivity properties. The study indicates that the application of Ormoroc improves fruit and grape quality to a greater extent. However, the active component of Ormoroc is less stable under the influence of solar irradiation and water, reducing the likelihood of water pollution.

U radu autorica razmatra probleme s kojima se susreću profesionalni igrači i klubovi pri jednostranom raskidu ugovora bez opravdanog razloga s obzirom na sankcije koje se izriču onoj strani koja je ...dovela do takvog raskida ugovora. Situaciju usložnuje i čl. 17. FIFA-inog Pravilnika o statusu i transferima igrača koji ne daje zatvorenu listu kriterija temeljem kojih se spomenute sankcije izriču. Nakon analize i kritike slučajeva Webster, De Sanctis i Matuzalem Arbitražnog suda za sport te njihovog komentara s aspekta švicarskog prava, koje je Arbitražni sud za sport u spomenutim slučajevima držao mjerodavnim pravom, autorica zaključuje da postojeća situacija dovodi do pravne nesigurnosti. Zaključno nudi brojna rješenja de lege ferenda.

Cefoperazone is a widely utilized antibiotic from the cephalosporins group to treat bacterial infections. Nevertheless, due to its extensive use as a β-lactam antibiotic, it has been found to ...accumulate in aquatic environments, leading to notable adverse effects on flora and fauna. Consequently, there arises a necessity for its removal from the environment. The aim of this work was to investigate the efficiency of photocatalytic degradation of cefoperazone by ZnO and H2O2 using different types of radiation (simulated solar (SS), UV-LED, and UV). The applied nanomaterial in the presence of H2O2 showed significant effi- ciency in removing cefoperazone compared to direct photolysis. In the first 20 min of irradiation, 49.0% and 59.4% of cefoperazone were degraded when SS and UV-LED were used, respectively, while cefopera- zone was completely degraded under UV irradiation. The reaction rate constant indicates that the degrada- tion of cefoperazone is pseudo-first order..
U kontekstu globalizacije bilježimo ubrzano kretanje kapitala i usluga izvan nacionalnih granica država članica EU-a, stoga transnacionalne transakcije postaju svakodnevica, kao i izaslani radnici. ...Budući da poslodavci žele iskoristiti prednosti koje im nudi pojedino unutarnje tržište i time sniziti cijenu rada, spomenuti radnici se nalaze u nezavidnoj poziciji. Stoga je za zaštitu njihovih ekonomskih i socijalnih interesa nužna uspostava produktivnog transnacionalnog socijalnog dijaloga. No, zbog različitosti stupnja gospodarskog razvoja te socijalne zaštite izvjestan je neuspjeh kolektivnih pregovora socijalnih partnera i pokretanje štrajkova, najdjelotvornijih industrijskih akcija na strani svijeta rada. Meðutim, kolektivne akcije i dalje su vezane uz nacionalni sustav industrijskih odnosa obilježenih svojim specifičnostima. No, valja naglasiti da i unutar tih sustava postoji niz pravnih praznina ili/i loših rješenja glede regulacije industrijskih akcija, posebice prava na štrajk. Situaciju posebno usložnjava postojanje meðunarodnih i regionalnih pravnih izvora koji reguliraju navedenu materiju, a koje obvezuju odnosne države, posebice u situaciji kada odredbe nacionalnog zakonodavstva nisu s istima usklaðene. Stoga nije teško zaključiti da spomenuta situacija otežava, ne samo organiziranje i provedbu štrajka, već i razgraničenje zakonitog od nezakonitog štrajka i to ne samo na transnacionalnoj, već i na nacionalnoj razini. U radu autori, koristeći komparativnu metodu, iznose brojne kritike de lege lata nudeći rješenja de lege ferenda.

In this paper, the author considers the problem of harmonising the contractual stability of professional football players and their freedom of movement as workers. After analysis of the concepts of ...international mobility of professional football players and in particular their limitations in regard to players’ transfer on the part of FIFA, the author points out the most commonly occurring problems which are related to defining player status, the option of one sided player contract extension and one sided contract termination, and in this sense provides solutions de lege ferenda.
In Zeiten moderner werdender Telekomminikations- und Multimediatechniken ist es in vielen Branchen möglich geworden, bestimmte Arbeiten an außerbetrieblichen Arbeitsstätten ausfüren zu können. Das ...Konzept einer solchen Arbeitsorganisation, einer telekommunikativ gestützen Außenarbeit, welche dem Beschäftigen die Ausübung seiner Tätigkeit an einem anderen Ort als betrieblichen Arbeitsstätte, insbensondere am häuslichen Arbitsplatz ermöglicht, wird vorrangig unter dem Schlagwort „Telearbeit“ diskutiert. Obschon die Telearbeit einen hohen Bekanntheitsgrad erreicht hat, fehlt es bislang – trozt zahlreicher Definitionsversuhe – an allgemein anerkannten Definition diser Organisationform. In diesen Artikel wird es Vor- und Nachteile dieser Organisationsform, als auch Anforderungsprofile diskutiert. Rechtsfragen wie Status des Telearbeiters, Implementierung, Arbeitszeit, Arbeitsmittel, Arbeitsstätte, Zutrittsrecht zum häuslichen Telearbeitsplatz, Daten und Informationsschutz, Integration der Telearbeiter, Kosten und Haftung sind behandelt. In dem Text ist Europäiche Union geltende positive Recht und Kroatiche Arbeitsrecht über die Telearbeit kompariert.
Due to the inability of conventional wastewater treatment procedures to remove organic pharmaceutical pollutants, active pharmaceutical components remain in wastewater and even reach tap water. In ...terms of pharmaceutical pollutants, the scientific community focuses on β-blockers due to their extensive (over)usage and moderately high solubility. In this study, the photocatalytic activity of V2O5 was investigated through the degradation of nadolol (NAD), pindolol (PIN), metoprolol (MET), and their mixture under ultraviolet (UV) irradiation in water. For the preparation of V2O5, facile hydrothermal synthesis was used. The structural, morphological, and surface properties and purity of synthesized V2O5 powder were investigated by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X-ray, and Raman spectroscopy. SEM micrographs showed hexagonal-shaped platelets with well-defined morphology of materials with diameters in the range of 10−65 µm and thickness of around a few microns. X-ray diffraction identified only one crystalline phase in the sample. The Raman scattering measurements taken on the catalyst confirmed the result of XRPD. Degradation kinetics were monitored by ultra-fast liquid chromatography with diode array detection. The results showed that in individual solutions, photocatalytic degradation of MET and NAD was relatively insignificant (<10%). However, in the PIN case, the degradation was significant (64%). In the mixture, the photodegradation efficiency of MET and NAD slightly increased (15% and 13%). Conversely, it reduced the PIN to the still satisfactory value of 40%. Computational analysis based on molecular and periodic density functional theory calculations was used to complement our experimental findings. Calculations of the average local ionization energy indicate that the PIN is the most reactive of all three considered molecules in terms of removing an electron from it.
