Abstract This study explores the impacts of user adaptation and its antecedents, including perceived usefulness, self-efficacy, and subjective norm on continuance intention towards mobile banking. ...Based on (1) extended expectation-confirmation model, (2) adaptive structuration theory for individuals, and (3) decomposed theory of planned behavior, and by incorporating user adaptation and trust perspectives, this study proposes and validates a research model by using convenient and snowball sampling techniques, face-to-face survey with a sample of 523 consumers of large banks in Vietnam. The partial least squares structural equation modeling SmartPLS 4.0 software is employed for data analysis. The research findings reveal that (1) except for subjective norm, perceived usefulness, satisfaction, adaptation, and self-efficacy significantly impact continuance intention; (2) trust moderates the relationship between adaptation and continuance intention. Theoretical and managerial implications are provided to broaden the information technology continuance literature, suggesting how banks should sustain strong relationships with mobile banking customers.
•Magnetoelectric (ME) sensors based on open and close magnetic circuits are compared.•Shape morphing sensors lead to equal induced magnetization in both types of magnetic circuits.•The measured ...magnetic susceptibility agrees with the gauging of sensitivity of the ME sensors.•Sensitivities of 310.4 mV·A−1 and 69.1 V·A−1 are achieved in direct and indirect approaches.•ME sensors based shape morphing have great prospect in measuring current from ±5 µA to ±33 A.
Various sensors of Metglas/PZT configuration based on magnetoelectric effect, including open-magnetic-circuit in bar-shape (IS), U-shape (US), and closed-magnetic-circuit in square-ring-shape (SS), with different dimensions are investigated from simulation, theoretical calculation to experiments, in homogeneous and vortex magnetic field. While the IS has great privilege in homogeneous field owing to the amendment shape anisotropy, the US/SS are well adapted in vortex field. For measuring current, the results indicate that the induced magnetization in the US and SS is equivalent and both larger than that of IS. The US sensitivities of 310.4 mV·A−1 and 69.1 V·A−1 are achieved in direct and indirect approaches, respectively, which are ∼1.27 times higher compared to the IS and the same increasing factor of measured magnetic susceptibility. Simple assembling, high sensitivity and high resolution make this US competitive with practical current measurement ranging from 5 µA to 33 A replying on different types of setup.
With the rapid growth and intense competition of the mobile commerce market, mobile vendors consider retaining current users and facilitating them to continue shopping as vital to sustain ...profitability and development. This study investigates the influence of trust and perceived usefulness on continuance intention to use mobile shopping, mediated by user adaptation. This study was based on an extended expectation-confirmation model (ECM) by incorporating trust and user adaptation. A questionnaire-based survey was designed to gather data from 445 mobile shoppers in Vietnam using face-to-face interview. Structural equation modelling analysis was applied to validate the hypothesised model. Our results revealed that all relationships, except for the direct relationship between trust and continuance intention significantly affect continuance intention. In addition, user adaptation is verified to mediate fully the relationship between trust and continuance intention. Our work is the first study to extend ECM by integrating trust and user adaptation in an integral way to advance our understanding of how mobile shoppers continue to use mobile shopping services. Finally, our study offers insightful theoretical and practical implications for academicians and firm managers to retain users effectively by promoting the factors that motivate the continuance intention.
The reduction of the previously known (6‐Ph2P‐Ace‐5‐)TeCl with K‐selectride (Ksec‐Bu3BH) provided the title compound (6‐Ph2P‐Ace‐5‐)2Te2 (1). The oxidation of 1 under aerobic conditions afforded the ...related (6‐Ph2P(O)‐Ace‐5‐)2Te2 (2). Alternatively, 2 was prepared by reduction of the previously known 6‐Ph2P(O)‐Ace‐5‐TeCl with K‐selectride. The reaction of 1 with Cp(CO)2Fe2 proceeded with cleavage of the Te–Te and Fe–Fe bonds with elimination of CO and gave rise to a racemic mixture of (6‐Ph2P‐Ace‐5‐)TeFe(CO)Cp (3), which contains pseudo‐tetrahedral Fe atoms in a chiral environment. Upon crystallization, the racemate most likely undergoes spontaneous resolution into a conglomerate of enantiopure crystals.
Abstract
This work examines the connections between service quality (SQ), service value (SV), customer satisfaction (CS), and customer loyalty (CL) within the healthcare industry. In addition, we ...seek to provide empirical evidence regarding the impact of different types of switching barriers, including procedural, financial, and relational costs, on these relationships. This is because switching costs are the key factors for maintaining and developing the relationship with the customer. The paper uses the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method for assessing the structure of - and examining - the valid data sample of 300 people, who have all experienced service from private healthcare in Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC), Vietnam. This paper is the first to study the three-dimensional switching costs (SC) (procedural, financial, and relational) as mediators of the CS-CL, and SV-CL relationships together in the private healthcare sector. The significant contributions of this paper include: (1) procedural, financial, and relational switching costs which have a determinant impact on customer loyalty (CL). Moreover, loyalty is also achieved through value given, and the pleasure of clients in the healthcare sector, (2) while customer satisfaction (CS) is a mediator of service value (SV) and CL, SV intervenes between the SQ and CS, (3) procedural/financial switching costs partially mediate the effects of the SV, CS, and CL relationships. Both academic contributions and managerial recommendations are provided by the results of this research in order to enrich the literature, and also to suggest that companies build stronger relationships with their customers and thus retain them.
Two new compounds, named eudesm-4(15),7-diene-3α,9β,11-triol (1) and eudesm-4(15),7-diene-1β,3α,9β,11-tetraol (2) together with three known sesquiterpene lactones (1S,5R,7R,10R)-secoatractylolactone ...(3), (1S,5R,7R,10R)-secoatractylolactone-11-O-β-D-glucopyranoside (4) atractylenolide III (5) were isolated from the rhizomes of Atractylodes macrocephala. Their structures were elucidated by using one-dimensional (1D) and 2D-NMR spectra and high resolution electrospray ionization (HR-ESI)-MS data. Compound 5 exhibited the most active anti-inflammatory activity with IC50 values of 27.5 µM in inhibiting of nitric oxide production. Compounds 1, 2, and 3 showed moderate effects while compound 4 was inactive.
This study examines mobile commerce continuance intention based on integrating expectation-confirmation and task-technology models and incorporating flow experience and user adaptation perspectives ...in an emerging context of Vietnam. The dataset ( n = 519) of face-to-face responses from mobile commerce consumers utilizing convenience and snowball sampling techniques was examined employing the partial least squares structural equation modeling SmartPLS4.0. The findings confirm that confirmation, perceived usefulness, and satisfaction are all positively related to continuance intention. Additionally, the findings show that while task-technology fit affects perceived usefulness and user adaptation, it does not directly predict satisfaction. Furthermore, the study indicates that flow and task-technology fit impact continuance intention. Remarkably, this study is the first to unveil the significant moderating effect of flow on the relationship between adaptation and continuation intention. The study offers insightful implications for firms to retain customers effectively by boosting the factors forming continuance intention.

This study investigates the relationship between belief structures (perceived compatibility, self-efficacy, and subjective norm), behavioral adaptation, satisfaction, and continuance intention of a ...platform-based ride-hailing service called “Grab” in Vietnam. After applying a questionnaire-based survey method and convenience sampling for data collection, the study collected 439 responses from the current users of Grab. A structural equation modeling procedure was used to verify the hypotheses. The results revealed that, except for the relationship between perceived compatibility and behavioral adaptation, all belief structures positively affect behavioral adaptation and satisfaction. Furthermore, both satisfaction and behavioral adaptation positively affect the continuance intention. Our study also demonstrated the partial and full mediating role of behavioral adaptation between self-efficacy and continuance intention, and between subjective norm and continuance intention, respectively. Our study broadens the current understanding of the relationship mechanism between belief structures, behavioral adaptation, and continuance intention. Theoretically, this study is the first research into the relationships between belief structure, behavioral adaptation and continuance intention, and it also identifies the mediating effects of behavioral adaptation on continuance intention in the platform-based context. Additionally, our study offers insightful implications for firm managers to retain users effectively by boosting the factors contributing to continuance intention.

Nickel- and manganese-based spinel compounds have emerged as important candidates for electrochemical energy storage. In this study, a spinel nickel–manganese cobaltite (s-NMC) material was ...synthesized by facile hydrothermal/calcination route and the material exhibited remarkable pseudocapacitive behavior performance. The synthesized s-NMC material had a specific capacitance of 418.3 F g
−1
at a scan rate of 10 mV s
−1
(216.2 F g
−1
at a current density of 1 A g
−1
) and retained 95% of its specific capacitance after 5000 charge–discharge cycles at a current density of 2 A g
−1
. These excellent electrochemical properties are attributed to the simultaneous presence of three transition metals in the s-NMC material. The asymmetric supercapacitor device using s-NMC delivered a maximum specific energy density of 16.58 Wh kg
−1
at a specific power density of 825 W kg
