. The mid-portion leaves on the year's shoot were selected for the spectral measurement first and then N concentration determination in the laboratory at 50 and 80 days after full bloom (DAB). Three methods of in-field spectral measurement (25° bare fibre under solar conditions, black background attached to plant probe, and white background attached to plant probe) were compared. We also investigated the modelling performances of four chemometric techniques (principal components regression, PCR; partial least squares regression, PLSR; stepwise multiple linear regression, SMLR; and back propagation neural network, BPNN) and three vegetation indices (difference spectral index, normalized difference spectral index, and ratio spectral index). Due to the low correlation of reflectance obtained by the 25° field of view method, all of the modelling was performed on two spectral datasets-both acquired by a plant probe. Results showed that the best modelling and prediction accuracy were found in the model established by PLSR and spectra measured with a black background. The randomly-separated subsets of calibration (
= 1000) and validation (
= 420) of this model resulted in high R² values of 0.86 and 0.85, respectively, as well as a low mean relative error (<6%). Furthermore, a higher coefficient of determination between the leaf N concentration and fruit yield was found at 50 DAB samplings in both 2015 (R² = 0.77) and 2014 (R² = 0.59). Thus, the leaf N concentration was suggested to be determined at 50 DAB by visible/near-infrared spectroscopy and the threshold should be 24-27 g/kg.

Sliding wall-climbing robot （SWCR） is applied worldwide for its continuous motion, however, considerable air leakage causes two problems： great power consumption and big noise, and they constraint ...the robot＇s comprehensive performance. So far, effective theoretical model is still lacked to solve the problems. The concept of SWCR＇s adsorption performance is presented, and the techniques of improving utilization rate of given adsorption force and utilization rate of power are studied respectively to improve SWCR＇s adsorption performance. The effect of locomotion mechanism selection and seal＇s pressure allocation upon utilization rate of given adsorption force is discussed, and the theoretical way for relevant parameters optimization are provided. The directions for improving utilization rate of power are pointed out based on the detail analysis results of suction system＇s thermodynamics and hydrodynamics. On this condition, a design method for SWCR-specific impeller is presented, which shows how the impeller＇s key parameters impact its aerodynamic performance with the aid of computational fluid dynamics （CFD） simulations. The robot prototype, BIT Climber, is developed, and its functions such as mobility, adaptability on wall surface, payload, obstacle ability and wall surface inspection are tested. Through the experiments for the adhesion performance of the robot adsorption system on the normal wall surface, at the impeller＇s rated rotating speed, the total adsorption force can reach 237.2 N, the average effective negative pressure is 3.02 kPa and the design error is 3.8% only, which indicates a high efficiency. Furthermore, it is found that the robot suction system＇s static pressure efficiency reaches 84% and utilization rate of adsorption force 81% by the experiment. This thermodynamics model and SWCR-specific impeller design method can effectively improve SWCR＇s adsorption performance and expand this robot applicability on the various walls. A sliding wall-climbing robot with high adhesion efficiency is developed, and this robot has the features of light body in weight, small size in structure and good capability in payload.
NSCLC is common and is the primary cause of cancer-related deaths due to a lack of early diagnosis and its propensity for metastasis. The pathogenesis of NSCLC is still unclear. Here, we explored the ...molecular mechanisms underlying NSCLC development, focusing on the HOXC-AS3/YBX1/HOXC8 axis. Human NSCLC specimens and cell lines were used. qRT-PCR and western blotting were utilised to examine the levels of HOXC-AS3/YBX1/HOXC8. CCK-8, colony formation, scratch wound healing and Transwell assays were performed to evaluate cancer cell proliferation, migration and invasion. A nude mouse xenograft model was used to examine tumour growth and metastasis in vivo. RNA pull-down, chromatin immunoprecipitation, coimmunoprecipitation and dual-luciferase assays were applied to validate the interactions of HOXC-AS3/YBX1, MDM2/YBX1 and the YBX1/HOXC8 promoter. The levels of HOXC-AS3 and HOXC8 were increased in human NSCLC specimens and cells. Knockdown of HOXC-AS3 suppressed NSCLC cell proliferation, migration and invasion, as well as tumour growth and metastasis in vivo. HOXC-AS3 directly bound to YBX1 to suppress its ubiquitination mediated by MDM2. YBX1 bound to the HOXC8 promoter and enhanced its transcription. Knockdown of HOXC8 inhibited the effects of HOXC-AS3 overexpression on NSCLC. HOXC-AS3 promotes NSCLC growth and metastasis by stabilising YBX1 and thus increasing HOXC8 transcription. Our study indicates that the HOXC-AS3/YBX1/HOXC8 axis could serve as a biomarker for NSCLC diagnosis or as a target for therapy development.

YBX1, miR-148a-3p and Runx3 levels were detected using quantitative reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR), Western blotting or immunohistochemical staining. The functions of YBX1, miR-148a-3p and Runx3 were assessed by 3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide (MTT), colony formation, wound healing, transwell, flow cytometry, xenograft model and Western blotting analyses. The binding correlation was validated through dual-luciferase reporter analysis and chromatin immunoprecipitation (ChIP).
YBX1 expression was upregulated, and miR-148a-3p and Runx3 levels were reduced in NSCLC samples and cell lines. YBX1 silence restrained NSCLC cell proliferation, migration, invasion and tumor growth, and enhanced apoptosis. YBX1 was targeted via miR-148a-3p. MiR-148a-3p knockdown promoted cell proliferation, migration, invasion and tumor growth, and repressed apoptosis, and these effects were abolished by YBX1 silence. Runx3 upregulation restrained cell proliferation, migration, invasion and tumor growth, and facilitated apoptosis. Runx3 bound with miR-148a-3p promotor to regulate miR-148a-3p expression. Runx3 silence modulated YBX1 expression though miR-148a-3p to promote NSCLC progression by increasing Cyclin D1, Cyclin B1, Slug-1, MMP-2 and MMP-9 levels.

We conducted decomposition analysis to understand the net contribution of population-level factors and their contribution proportions on changes of prevalent and incident cases, including age structure, population change and epidemiological change.METHODSBased on data from Global Burden of Disease study 2019, we assessed trends in burden of AD aged <19 years from 1990 to 2019, including prevalent and incident cases, age-standardised prevalence and age-standardised incidence. Many zoonotic disease emergencies are associated with RNA viruses in rodents that substantially impact public health. With the widespread application of meta-genomics and meta-transcriptomics for ...virus discovery over the last decade, viral sequences deposited in public databases have expanded rapidly, and the number of novel viruses discovered in rodents has increased. As important reservoirs of zoonotic viruses, rodents have attracted increasing attention for the risk of potential spillover of rodent-borne viruses. However, knowledge of rodent viral diversity and the major factors contributing to the risk of zoonotic epidemic outbreaks remains limited. Therefore, this study analyzes the diversity and composition of rodent RNA viruses using virus records from the Database of Rodent-associated Viruses (DRodVir/ZOVER), which covers the published literatures and records in GenBank database, reviews the main rodent RNA virus-induced human infectious diseases, and discusses potential challenges in this field.
This study aimed to compare the clinical, radiological, therapeutic, and prognostic differences between pediatric patients showing acute disseminated encephalomyelitis (ADEM) with and without myelin ...oligodendrocyte glycoprotein (MOG) antibodies.
We retrospectively collected all available data of children diagnosed with ADEM and tested for serum MOG antibodies at the Children's Hospital of Chongqing Medical University from January 2017 to May 2021.
A total of 62 patients were included in our cohort, of which 35 were MOG-seropositive and 27 were MOG-seronegative. MOG-seropositive ADEM children presented with significantly lower rates of seizures (
= 0.038) and cranial nerve (III-XII) palsy (
= 0.003). Isolated leukocytosis in the blood was more common in ADEM children with MOG antibodies (
< 0.001). The two groups showed no significant differences in the distributions and extent of the MRI lesions as well as the appearance of typical/atypical magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) features. MOG-seropositive children were more likely to relapse (
= 0.017) despite having slower oral prednisolone tapering after acute treatments (
= 0.028). In scoring performed on the basis of two neurological function scoring systems, MOG-seropositive children showed milder neurological disability status at onset (
= 0.017 and 0.025, respectively) but showed no difference during follow-up.
In summary, the differences in the clinical manifestations and auxiliary examination findings for MOG-seropositive and MOG-seronegative ADEM children lacked significance and specificity, making early identification difficult. MOG-seropositive children were more likely to relapse and showed slower steroid tapering. Moreover, MOG-seronegative children tended to have more severe neurological impairments at onset with no difference during follow-up.

levels. It has been reported that calcium ionophore (A23187) can activate oocytes and obtain normal embryos. However, there are few studies on unfertilized oocytes after calcium ionophore (A23187) rescue activation in ICSI cycle. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effects of calcium ionophore (A23187) rescue activation on the activation of unfertilized oocytes, embryonic development potential, embryonic development timing and chromosomal aneuploidy, and to compare and analyze the clinical data of patients with calcium ionophore (A23187) activation in clinical application. The results showed that a certain proportion of high-quality blastocysts with normal karyotype could be obtained after calcium ionophore (A23187) rescue activation of unfertilized oocytes, and it did not have a significant effect on the timing of embryo development. In clinical practice, direct activation with calcium ionophore (A23187) after ICSI was better than rescue activation the next day. In conclusions, the studies on the effectiveness and safety of calcium ionophore (A23187) rescue activation for oocytes with ICSI fertilization failure can enable some patients to obtain usable, high-quality embryos during the first ICSI cycle.
High-resolution microendoscopy is an optical imaging technique with the potential to improve the accuracy of endoscopic screening for esophageal squamous neoplasia. Although these microscopic images ...can be interpreted readily by trained personnel, quantitative image analysis software could facilitate the use of this technology in low-resource settings. In this study, we developed and evaluated quantitative image analysis criteria for the evaluation of neoplastic and non-neoplastic squamous esophageal mucosa.
We performed an image analysis of 177 patients undergoing standard upper endoscopy for screening or surveillance of esophageal squamous neoplasia, using high-resolution microendoscopy, at 2 hospitals in China and at 1 hospital in the United States from May 2010 to October 2012. Biopsy specimens were collected from imaged sites (n = 375), and a consensus diagnosis was provided by 2 expert gastrointestinal pathologists and used as the standard.
Quantitative information from the high-resolution images was used to develop an algorithm to identify high-grade squamous dysplasia or invasive squamous cell cancer, based on histopathology findings. Optimal performance was obtained using the mean nuclear area as the basis for classification, resulting in sensitivities and specificities of 93% and 92% in the training set, 87% and 97% in the test set, and 84% and 95% in an independent validation set, respectively.
High-resolution microendoscopy with quantitative image analysis can aid in the identification of esophageal squamous neoplasia. Use of software-based image guides may overcome issues of training and expertise in low-resource settings, allowing for widespread use of these optical biopsy technologies.
