This study aims to examine the effect of gender in class interaction on the mathematical literacy abilities of first semester students of the mathematics education study program. The sampling ...technique in this study was random sampling based on consideration. The collected data were analyzed using a simple regression test, before carrying out the previous regression test, preparing instruments, namely questionnaires and interview instruments. After carrying out the research, the questionnaire was tested for validity and reliability first, then carried out a simple regression test which functioned to determine the effect of gender on mathematical literacy abilities. Gotthe results of the regression equation obtained Y = 54.179 + 0.442 X, this equation shows that the value of the regression coefficient for Gender (X) is positive, which means that every increase in the Gender variable has an influence on Mathematical Literacy (Y).

This research aims to produce a product in the form of a mathematics learning tool based on Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics – Caring Community (STEAM-CC) and its effect on ...students' creative thinking abilities. Creative thinking can be influenced through approaches in the learning process and is carried out in small groups as a means for students to collaborate, learn, and care for each other through Caring Community (CC) in Lesson Study for Learning Community (LSLC). This study uses a mixed method, namely the study of developing the 4-D Thiagarajan model and experimental research. The results showed that the STEAM-CC-based learning tools developed were valid according to material experts and media experts, based on being effective with test results fulfilling class completeness, observations on Caring Community showed that students had a concern for learning, and there was an influence on students' creative thinking abilities .
Molecular imprinting technology is a new analytical method that is highly selective and specific for certain analytes in artificial receptor design. The renewal possibilities of this technology make ...it an ideal material for sundry application fields. Molecularly imprinted polymers (MIPs) are polymeric matrices that have molecules printed on their surfaces; these surfaces can chemically interact with molecules or follow the pattern of the available template cavities obtained using imprinting technology. A MIP is useful for separating and analysing complex samples, such as biological fluids and environmental samples, because it is a strong analytical recognition element that can mimick natural recognition entities like biological receptors and antibodies. The MIP components consist of the target template, functional monomer, crosslinker, polymerisation initiator, and porogen. The effectiveness and selectivity of a MIP are greatly influenced by variations in the components. This review will provide an overview of the effect of MIP component ratio on analytical performance to each target analyte; it will also provide a strategy to obtain the best MIP performance. For every MIP, each template : monomer : crosslinker ratio shows a distinct performance for a specific analyte. The effects of the template : monomer : crosslinker ratio on a MIP’s analytical performances—measured by the imprinting factor, sorbent binding capacity, and sorbent selectivity—are briefly outlined.
The goals of this study is to describe the development of students’ competence in research proposal writing of Indonesian language subject using mind maps strategy. The study was conducted in three ...cycles. The result of the study the learning strategy can increase the students’ achievement. In the first cycle it had got 9.5% to be 50% in the second cycle at the last cycle get 100%. In the classical it got the standart of learning at SMAN 3 Mataram. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan kemampuan menulis Proposal Karya Ilmiah siswa dalam mata pelajaran bahasa Indonesia dengan menggunakan strategi belajar mandiri mind maps. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilakukan dalam 3 (tiga) siklus. Dari hasil tindakan yang dilakukan terbukti dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa dengan mencapai standar ideal. Dari 9,5% pada Siklus I, dapat meningkat pada Siklus II menjadi 50% dan Siklus III mencapai 100%, dan secara klasikal telah mencapai ketuntasan. Hasil penelitian tindakan kelas ini menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran menggunakan strategi mind maps dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa di SMA Negeri 3 Mataram .
Molecularly imprinted polymer (MIP) computational design is expected to become a routine technique prior to synthesis to produce polymers with high affinity and selectivity towards target molecules. ...Furthermore, using these simulations reduces the cost of optimizing polymerization composition. There are several computational methods used in MIP fabrication and each requires a comprehensive study in order to select a process with results that are most similar to properties exhibited by polymers synthesized through laboratory experiments. Until now, no review has linked computational strategies with experimental results, which are needed to determine the method that is most appropriate for use in designing MIP with high molecular recognition. This review will present an update of the computational approaches started from 2016 until now on quantum mechanics, molecular mechanics and molecular dynamics that have been widely used. It will also discuss the linear correlation between computational results and the polymer performance tests through laboratory experiments to examine to what extent these methods can be relied upon to obtain polymers with high molecular recognition. Based on the literature search, density functional theory (DFT) with various hybrid functions and basis sets is most often used as a theoretical method to provide a shorter MIP manufacturing process as well as good analytical performance as recognition material.
Gold and silver nanoparticles are nanoparticles that have been widely used in various fields and have shown good benefits. The method of nanoparticle biosynthesis utilizing plant extracts, also known ...as green synthesis, has become a promising method considering the advantages it has compared to other synthesis methods. This review aims to give an overview of the phytochemical compounds in plants used in the synthesis of gold and silver nanoparticles, the nanoparticle properties produced using plant extracts based on the concentration and structure of phytochemical compounds, and their applications. Phytochemical compounds play an important role as reducing agents and stabilizers in the stages of the synthesis of nanoparticles. Polyphenol compounds, reducing sugars, and proteins are the main phytochemical compounds that are responsible for the synthesis of gold and silver nanoparticles. The concentration of phytochemical compounds affects the physical properties, stability, and activity of nanoparticles. This is important to know to be able to overcome limitations in controlling the physical properties of the nanoparticles produced. Based on structure, the phytochemical compounds that have ortho-substituted hydroxyl result in a smaller size and well-defined shape, which can lead to greater activity and stability. Furthermore, the optimal condition of the biosynthesis process is required to gain a successful reaction that includes setting the metal ion concentration, temperature, reaction time, and pH.

This systematic review aims to evaluate the socioeconomic impacts of airborne and droplet-borne infectious diseases outbreaks on industries.
A structured, systematic review was performed according to the PRISMA guidelines. Databases of PubMed, Scopus, Web of Science, IDEAS/REPEC, OSHLINE, HSELINE, and NIOSHTIC-2 were reviewed. Study quality appraisal was performed using the Table of Evidence Levels from Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, Joanna Briggs Institute tools, Mixed Methods Appraisal Tool, and Center of Evidence Based Management case study critical appraisal checklist. Quantitative analysis was not attempted due to the heterogeneity of included studies. A qualitative synthesis of primary studies examining socioeconomic impact of airborne and droplet-borne infectious diseases outbreaks in any industry was performed and a framework based on empirical findings was conceptualized.
A total of 55 studies conducted from 1984 to 2021 were included, reporting on 46,813,038 participants working in multiple industries across the globe. The quality of articles were good. On the whole, direct socioeconomic impacts of Coronavirus Disease 2019, influenza, influenza A (H1N1), Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome, tuberculosis and norovirus outbreaks include increased morbidity, mortality, and health costs. This had then led to indirect impacts including social impacts such as employment crises and reduced workforce size as well as economic impacts such as demand shock, supply chain disruptions, increased supply and production cost, service and business disruptions, and financial and Gross Domestic Product loss, attributable to productivity losses from illnesses as well as national policy responses to contain the diseases.
Evidence suggests that airborne and droplet-borne infectious diseases have inflicted severe socioeconomic costs on regional and global industries. Further research is needed to better understand their long-term socioeconomic impacts to support improved industry preparedness and response capacity for outbreaks. Public and private stakeholders at local, national, and international levels must join forces to ensure informed systems and sector-specific cost-sharing strategies for optimal global health and economic security.
Clear cell renal cell carcinoma (ccRCC) is a hypervascular tumor that is characterized by bi-allelic inactivation of the
tumor suppressor gene and mTOR signalling pathway hyperactivation. The ...pro-angiogenic factor PDGFB, a transcriptional target of super enhancer-driven KLF6, can activate the mTORC1 signalling pathway in ccRCC. However, the detailed mechanisms of PDGFB-mediated mTORC1 activation in ccRCC have remained elusive. Here, we investigated whether ccRCC cells are able to secrete PDGFB into the extracellular milieu and stimulate mTORC1 signalling activity. We found that ccRCC cells secreted PDGFB extracellularly, and by utilizing KLF6- and PDGFB-engineered ccRCC cells, we showed that the level of PDGFB secretion was positively correlated with the expression of intracellular KLF6 and PDGFB. Moreover, the reintroduction of either KLF6 or PDGFB was able to sustain mTORC1 signalling activity in KLF6-targeted ccRCC cells. We further demonstrated that conditioned media of PDGFB-overexpressing ccRCC cells was able to re-activate mTORC1 activity in KLF6-targeted cells. In conclusion, cancer cell-derived PDGFB can mediate mTORC1 signalling pathway activation in ccRCC, further consolidating the link between the KLF6-PDGFB axis and the mTORC1 signalling pathway activity in ccRCC.
