Purpose: This research aims to examine the determinants of the quality of the accounting information system at PT Pegadaian (Persero) in Bima Regency in an objective way. Design/Methodology/Approach: ...The associative type with a quantitative approach is the one used in this research. This research was carried out in 30 Pegadaian (Persero) branches throughout Bima Regency. Primary data in this study was collected directly from respondents using a questionnaire survey. The partial least squares (PLS) method is a method tool used using SmartPLS software. Findings: The results of this research show that there is an influence between organizational structure, organizational culture, and user competence on the quality of the accounting information system, but there is no influence between information technology on the quality of the accounting information system. Implications/Originality/Value: These results provide an understanding of the factors that can improve the quality of information systems in companies.
In Iranian wedding tradition, the dowry (mahr) is not paid upfront as done in Arab culture, and there is no set deadline for its payment. The regulations regarding dowry in Iran are outlined in the ...Civil Code of the Islamic Republic of Iran, which states that anything that can be considered property, owned, and controlled can be designated as dowry. In the subsequent article, it is explained that dowry can be entirely or partially deferred. This article aims to elucidate the concept of deferred dowry (mahar dihutang) in Iranian civil law from the perspective of the Imamiyah School of Thought, which is the predominant school of thought in Iran. This study is conducted through a literature review with a normative approach. The research findings reveal that items eligible to be considered as dowry are those with an associated market value, in alignment with the principles of the Imamiyah school. Deferred dowry is permitted within the Imamiyah school, but when the husband is incapable of paying the dowry, the wife is allowed to make a decision to abstain from conjugal relations with him. This, however, cannot be used as a reason for divorce. In Iran, there exists a phenomenon known as "mahar prisoner" for husbands who fail to pay the dowry in full after marriage.
As a women’s wing organization of Muhammadiyah, Aisyiyah has been facing dilemma in reconciling its multiple identities as a woman, Muslim modernist and Indonesian organization. As part of the ...biggest Indonesian Muslim modernist movement with its ideology of progressive Islam, Aisyiyah has taken active parts in developing its socio-religious enterprises and economic empowerment of ummat/community at the grass-roots level. Aiming to critically analyze Aisyiyah’s economic empowerment programs using gender perspective, this paper will address a question to some extent Aisyiyah’s economic empowerment seek to accommodate and reconcile their multiple womanhood, modernist Muslim and Indonesian identities and interests. Using three indicators of women’s empowerment of resources, agency and achievements, it is argued that `Aisyiyah’s women economic empowerment has benefited from its resources as the oldest Muslim women’s organisations having vast networks and resulted in various economic empowerment institutions. Such great achievements cannot be detached from the ideological framework of modernist Muslims in Indonesia that is undergoing an evolution from the theology of tajdid/renewal movement with the emphasis on the development of socio-religious enterprises towards the theology of al-Ma`un seeking to make alignment and empowerment of the disadvantaged groups of the society, including the poor and women. However, in terms of agency, such Aisyiyah’s economic empowerment has been forced to serve the gender ideology of modernist Muslims that subordinates gender interests of women under the interests of ummat/community. However, such option is taken by Aisyiyah as a strategy to strike a balance of its identities and interests as a woman, a modernist Muslim, and Indonesian organization and a strategy to respond to its surrounding political contexts in Indonesia.

This study develops and tests a research model to analyze the overall effects of minimum wage policy implementation on hotel employees’ overall perception of the minimum wage policy in relationship to satisfaction with compensation, work behaviors, and perceived quality of life. An electronic survey was developed, and data were collected from hotel employees who worked at three-, four-, and five-star hotels in Malaysia. Results from the structural equation modelling analysis and the bootstrap mediational effects analysis offered significant empirical findings that will enable understanding of the overall effects of minimum wage increases on Malaysian hotel employees. Employee perception of minimum wage policy significantly influenced their satisfaction with compensation and work motivation. Additionally, employee satisfaction with compensation significantly influenced their work motivation, job satisfaction, and perceived quality of life. Limitations and future research directions are discussed.
This study aims to utilize of bilimbi fruit and know the length of soaking of the best bilimbi fruit in the organoleptic test properties of the chest of Magelang duck. The experimental design used in ...this study is a Complete Randomized Design with 4 treatments of differences in the length of soaking bilimbi fruit (0, 20, 40, 60 Minutes) and 5 replays with a concentration of 40%. The observation data was analyzed with ANOVA at a real level of 5%, then if there is different data between treatments, Duncan Multiple Range Test is conducted. The results showed that the difference in the duration of soaking bilimbi fruit juice for 20-60 minutes in Magelang duck breast meat had a significant effect on the change in the color of the meat from red (4.25) to slightly gray (2.54-3.11). The aroma changed from slightly fishy (3.11-3.35) at 0-20 minutes of soaking bilimbi fruit and close to not fishy (3.64-3.65) at 40-60 minutes of immersion. However, the difference in soaking time up to 60 minutes did not affect the taste (2.54-2.90 somewhat addic), texture (2.79-3.13 yaitu not tender near tender), and favorite (2.58-2.93 is a bit like). The duration of soaking starfruit in Magelang duck breast meat for up to 60 minutes was able to reduce the fishy aroma and change color, but did not affect the taste, texture, and preference

Indonesian Migrant Workers are Indonesian workers who work abroad. They must leave Indonesia at a productive age, by leaving various social problems to bear the burden of solving family economic ...problems and providing foreign exchange for the country. These foreign exchange heroes in the country where they work are seen as tools to get work done, and not as human beings who need privacy, protection, respect and other human needs. This view has caused many problems, both psychological and social problems that have not been resolved until now, especially for migrant workers who work in the domestic sector, as happened to Marruni, a character of migrant worker in the novel of Sumayyah by NizarAbadzah. Abadzah is seen as a character who comes from the country that uses migrant workers’ services. This study is needed to understand the root problems that have been faced by Indonesian Workers who working in the Middle East. This study aims to find out author’s world view Marruni, the character of Indonesian Migrant Worker in the Novel of Sumayyah by using the theory of genetic structuralism.
Purpose
The purpose of this paper is to investigate work engagement as a mediator of the impacts of supervisor support and self-efficacy on quitting intentions, and examine self-efficacy as a ...mediator between supervisor support and work engagement.
Design/methodology/approach
Data were collected from 177 call center employees in Malaysia. The aforesaid linkages were tested through structural equation modeling.
Findings
As hypothesized, self-efficacy mediates the relationship between supervisor support and work engagement, while work engagement mediates the impacts of supervisor support and self-efficacy on quitting intentions.
Originality/value
Though work engagement is on the decline and employee turnover is on the rise, no attention has been given to investigating the impacts of supervisor support and self-efficacy simultaneously on call center employees’ work engagement and quitting intentions so far. Therefore, the study aims to fill in this void.
Eukaryotic cells contain translation-associated mRNA surveillance pathways which prevent the production of potentially toxic proteins from aberrant mRNA translation events. We found that loss of mRNA ...surveillance pathways in mutants deficient in nonsense-mediated decay (NMD), no-go decay (NGD) and nonstop decay (NSD) results in increased protein aggregation. We have isolated and identified the proteins that aggregate and our bioinformatic analyses indicates that increased aggregation of aggregation-prone proteins is a general occurrence in mRNA surveillance mutants, rather than being attributable to specific pathways. The proteins that aggregate in mRNA surveillance mutants tend to be more highly expressed, more abundant and more stable proteins compared with the wider proteome. There is also a strong correlation with the proteins that aggregate in response to nascent protein misfolding and an enrichment for proteins that are substrates of ribosome-associated Hsp70 chaperones, consistent with susceptibility for aggregation primarily occurring during translation/folding. We also identified a significant overlap between the aggregated proteins in mRNA surveillance mutants and ageing yeast cells suggesting that translation-dependent protein aggregation may be a feature of the loss of proteostasis that occurs in aged cell populations.
