The processes of forming and development of innovation-oriented progressive society in Ukraine are impossible without the qualitative changes at the different levels, in particular, from the quality ...of work of the employee, ending with the quality of functioning of the state mechanism. In the context of the research we have established the level of competitiveness is influenced by the level of education of the population during whole life. As the experience of developed countries demonstrates, the educational level of the population is the main factor of development, in particular, the share of employees with higher education is rather high, which affects both the pace of country's economic development and the high share of the population, which are involved to the professional development.The influence of professional development of employees on the quality of human capital is analyzed in the paper. The purpose of research is to analyze the status of professional development of employees in Ukraine, to identify the main factors, which affect on it in the context of forming an innovative model of the national economy. The status and tendencies of professional development of employees in Ukraine in the territorial section are analyzed. With using the regression analysis, the dependence of socio-economic factors (wages, the level of education of employees, the number of employees, and the number of innovative enterprises) and the professional development of employees in the conditions of transition to the innovative model of the national economy have been established. As the analysis is showed, there are positive tendencies in involving employees to the self-education, participation in a variety of case studies, courses, using ICT, etc. The perspective of further research will be the development of recommendations for the improvement of the regulatory framework which will regulate the professional development of employees in Ukraine, in particular, the creation of the National Qualifications System and development of professional standards in the various fields which could be a real basis for the forming of educational standards.
The aim was to study an impact of lifelong learning skills on using active learning methods by teachers to improve their qualifications and teaching practice and evaluate an active methods ...efectiveness for teachers with different duration of pedagogical experience. The study was conducted using mixed methods. Questionnaires, pedagogical experiment, methods of mathematical statistics were used. The duration of pedagogical experience has equally affects the use of active methods of teaching men and women. Feynman Technique proved to be an effective active learning method for most teachers, which may be determined by the specifics of teaching and the peculiarities of this technique. Full Turn and Case Studies were the least effective methods. Men and women with smaller pedagogical experience are more interested in using active teaching methods for self-study and using in pedagogical practice. The ability of teachers to self-study have an influence on using of active teaching methods. The results of the study are effective for improving self-learning skills of teachers and the representative of other professions; the programme of studying active learning methods with their simultaneous use is effective for solving problems of varying complexity and in all spheres of human activity.

The purpose of this paper is to determine the dependence between competitiveness of any country and level of its lifelong learning under conditions of development knowledge-based economy. Particular actuality is associated with necessity of the lifelong learning in the process of working in dimension of innovative oriented economy. The study covers the relationship between the level of lifelong learning and level of the country’s development, the impact of lifelong learning on it. As a result, it was defined, between competitiveness and level of lifelong learning exists a close relationship. The matrix shows the 4 groups of countries with different levels of competitiveness and lifelong leaning. The achieved results of created matrix suggest that the instruments of Nordic model of lifelong learning is the most effective, as the results, these countries.

In the monograph the question of transformation of the role of higher education in the condition of the becoming of an innovative model of national economy is comprehensively studied, the mechanisms ...of intensifying transfer of educational and professional knowledge are justified. The current status, tendencies, quantitative and qualitative aspects of training of specialists in the sphere of higher education, taking into account the territorial peculiarities of such process and international experience, the peculiarities of formation model of employment of specialists in the conditions of the innovative development of national economy are analyzed by the authors. In this monograph it was paid attention to improving the competitiveness of graduates of universities on the labor market, providing them with timely and effective professional training under the conditions of intensive development of the national economy. The question about preparing the specialists for foreign countries as a factor of the preservation and development of national higher education in the condition of reducing its own contingent of students was explored in the monograph. A considerable attention is paid to the development of directions of improvement of the state regulation the spheres of training and employment the specialists with higher education, such as: implementation the strategies and mechanism of increasing the competitiveness of university's graduates, support programs of employment of youth with higher education, improvement of state regulation of educational services' export, social partnership relationships and intensification of interaction of the employers with universities.
