With the rapid development of the internet of things, radio frequency identification (RFID) technology plays an important role in various fields. However, RFID systems are vulnerable to cloning ...attacks. This is the fabrication of one or more replicas of a genuine tag, which behave exactly as a genuine tag and fool the reader to gain legal authorization, leading to potential financial loss or reputation damage. Many advanced solutions have been proposed to combat cloning attacks, but they require extra hardware resources, or they cannot detect a clone tag in time. In this article, we make a fresh attempt to counterattack tag cloning based on spatiotemporal collisions. We propose adaptable clone detection (ACD), which can intuitively and accurately display the positions of abnormal tags in real time. It uses commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) RFID devices without extra hardware resources. We evaluate its performance in practice, and the results confirm its success at detecting cloning attacks. The average accuracy can reach 98.7%, and the recall rate can reach 96%. Extensive experiments show that it can adapt to a variety of RFID application scenarios.
Piezoelectric actuators with a flexible displacement amplification structure are widely used in the fields of precision driving and positioning. The displacement curve of conventional piezoelectric ...actuators is asymmetrical and non-linear, which leads to large non-linear errors and reduced positioning accuracy of these piezoelectric actuators. In this paper, a bidirectional active drive piezoelectric actuator is proposed, which suppresses the hysteresis phenomenon to a certain extent and reduces the non-linear error. Based on the deformation theory of the beam, a theoretical model of the rhombus mechanism was established, and the key parameters affecting the drive performance were analyzed. Then, the static and dynamic characteristics of series piezoelectric actuators were analyzed by the finite element method. A prototype was manufactured and the output performance was tested. The results show that the actuator can achieve a bidirectional symmetric output of amplification displacement, with a maximum value of 91.45 μm and a resolution of 35 nm. In addition, compared with the hysteresis loop of the piezoelectric stack, the nonlinear error is reduced by 62.94%.

Here, we aimed to assess the efficacy ...of various vaccine doses and types on the duration of isolation duration and discharge rates, the viral shedding duration, and negative rates in asymptomatic to mild COVID-19 patients.
We included adult patients at the Fangcang isolation centres in Pazhou or Yongning between November and December 2022. We analysed data on basic demographics, admission details, laboratory indicators and vaccination information.
A total of 6560 infected patients were included (3584 from Pazhou and 2976 from Yongning). Of these, 90.6% received inactivated vaccines, 3.66% received recombinant SARS-CoV-2 spike protein subunit vaccines and 0.91% received adenovirus vaccines. Among the 6173 vaccinated individuals, 71.9% received a booster dose. By day 9, the isolation rate reached 50% among vaccinated patients. On day 7.5, the positive rate among vaccinated individuals reached 50%.
Full vaccination was effective, with heterologous vaccines showing greater efficacy than inactivated vaccines alone. However, there was no significant difference in the vaccine protective effect 12 months after vaccination.
In order to improve the lubrication performance of polystyrene microspheres (PS) as solid lubricant in drilling fluids, elastic graphite-polystyrene composite microspheres (EGR/PS), ...montmorillonite-elastic graphite-polystyrene composite microspheres (OMMT/EGR/PS), and polytetrafluoroethylene-polystyrene composite microspheres (PTFE/PS) were prepared by suspension polymerization. OMMT/EGR/PS has a rough surface, while the surfaces of the other three composite microspheres are smooth. Among the four kinds of composite microspheres, the largest particle is OMMT/EGR/PS, and the average size is about 400 μm. The smallest particle is PTFE/PS, and the average size is about 49 μm. Compared with pure water, the friction coefficient of PS, EGR/PS, OMMT/EGR/PS and PTFE/PS reduced by 25%, 28%, 48%, and 62%, respectively. The wear tracks of EGR/PS, OMMT/EGR/PS and PTFE/PS are narrower and smoother than those of pure water. When the content of PTFE is 4.0 wt%, the friction coefficient and wear volume of PTFE/PS are 0.213 and 2.45 × 10

Large yellow croaker (Larimichthys crocea) is one of the most valuable marine fish in southern China. Given to the rapid development of aquaculture industry, the L. crocea was subjected to ciliate ...ectoparasite Cryptocaryon irritans. It therefore is indispensable and urgent to understand the mechanism of L. crocea host defense against C. irritans infection. In the present study, the extensively analysis at the transcriptome level for Cryptocaryoniasis in L. crocea was carried out. These results showed that 15,826,911, 16,462,921, and 15,625,433 paired-end clean reads were obtained from three cDNA libraries (A: 0 theronts/fish, B: 12,000 theronts/fish, and C: 24,000 theronts/fish) of the L. crocea immune-related tissues by Illumina paired-end sequencing technology. Totally, 30,509 unique transcript fragments (unigenes) were assembled, with an average length of 1715 bp. In B/A, C/A, and C/B pairwise comparison, 972, 900, and 1126 genes showed differential expression respectively. Differently expressed immune-related genes (DEIGs) were scrutinized, in B/A pairwise comparison, 48 genes showed differential expression, including 26 up-regulated genes and 22 down-regulated genes in B; in C/A pairwise comparison, there were 39 DEIGs, including 7 up-regulated genes and 32 down-regulated genes in C; in C/B pairwise comparison, 40 genes showed differential expression, including 11 up-regulated genes and 29 down-regulated genes in C. There were 16 DEIGs enriched KEGG pathways, in which the complement and coagulation cascades pathway was the top most DEIGs enriched pathway (B:A = 42; C:A = 28; C:B = 42). The coagulation and fibrinolytic system was in a highly active state after infected by C. irritans with non-lethal concentration; the alternative complement pathway may play an important role in the early stages of C. irritans infection. These results demonstrated that low-concentration infection can significantly induce the immunological response in fishes, however, when fishes were in fatal conditions, the immunity was suppressed.

This paper studied the effect of inclusion factors on the fatigue life. of a P/M superalloy. Tests were conducted at 600 °C and fractographies were examined to identify the failure source. The degree of the detrimental effect on life was related to inclusion size, position and applied stress level. An explanation for these factors on fatigue life based on fracture mechanics was proposed. Inclusions were considered as crack and Kmax calculation was correlated with inclusion position and shape. The small crack growth behaviour was also considered and good life prediction was obtained by integrating the rate equation with initial defect size.
Interstitial fibrosis, tubular atrophy, and inflammation are major contributors to kidney allograft failure. Here we sought an objective, quantitative pathological assessment of these lesions to ...improve predictive utility and constructed a deep-learning–based pipeline recognizing normal vs. abnormal kidney tissue compartments and mononuclear leukocyte infiltrates. Periodic acid– Schiff stained slides of transplant biopsies (60 training and 33 testing) were used to quantify pathological lesions specific for interstitium, tubules and mononuclear leukocyte infiltration. The pipeline was applied to the whole slide images from 789 transplant biopsies (478 baseline pre-implantation and 311 post-transplant 12-month protocol biopsies) in two independent cohorts (GoCAR: 404 patients, AUSCAD: 212 patients) of transplant recipients to correlate composite lesion features with graft loss. Our model accurately recognized kidney tissue compartments and mononuclear leukocytes. The digital features significantly correlated with revised Banff 2007 scores but were more sensitive to subtle pathological changes below the thresholds in the Banff scores. The Interstitial and Tubular Abnormality Score (ITAS) in baseline samples was highly predictive of one-year graft loss, while a Composite Damage Score in 12-month post-transplant protocol biopsies predicted later graft loss. ITASs and Composite Damage Scores outperformed Banff scores or clinical predictors with superior graft loss prediction accuracy. High/intermediate risk groups stratified by ITASs or Composite Damage Scores also demonstrated significantly higher incidence of estimated glomerular filtration rate decline and subsequent graft damage. Thus, our deep-learning approach accurately detected and quantified pathological lesions from baseline or post-transplant biopsies and demonstrated superior ability for prediction of post-transplant graft loss with potential application as a prevention, risk stratification or monitoring tool.

Methanol is predominantly produced by a coal-to-methanol process in China. However, this process is criticized by high CO2 emissions because of the high carbon contents of coal. The high CO2 emission ...and low resource utilization efficiency greatly weaken the competitiveness of the coal-to methanol industry. Coke oven gas, one of the hydrogen-rich resources, is used as fuel or directly discharged. This leads to a waste of valuable resources and serious economic losses. Aiming at effective utilization of CO2 and coke oven gas, this study proposes a novel coal-to-methanol process integrated with CO2 utilization for improving the system performance of the traditional coal-to methanol process. Coke oven gas is introduced to meet the H2/CO2 ratio required for methanol synthesis reaction by integrating with chemical looping technology. The key parameters are analyzed and optimized on the basis of the established model of the novel process. Furthermore, its advantages are manifested in detail in comparison with the conventional coal-to-methanol process. Results show that the novel process has a better comprehensive performance because it can increase the carbon and exergy efficiencies by 47.9 and 15.4% as well as save the investment and production costs by 23.3 and 7.5%. Moreover, the internal rate of return of the novel process is improved by 9.1% and the lifecycle greenhouse gas emissions are reduced from 2.86 to 0.78 t CO2‑equiv per ton of methanol compared with the conventional process.
Syndromic deafness caused by PTPN11 gene mutation has gradually come into the public's view. In the past, many people did not understand its application mechanism and role and only focused on ...non-syndromic deafness, so the research on syndromic deafness is not in-depth and there is a large degree of lack of research in this area. In order to let the public know more about the diagnosis and gene function of deafness caused by PTPN11 gene mutation syndrome, this paper used deep learning technology to study the diagnosis and gene function of deafness caused by syndrome with the concept of intelligent medical treatment, and finally drew a feasible conclusion. This paper provided a theoretical and practical basis for the diagnosis of deafness caused by PTPN11 gene mutation syndrome and the study of gene function. This paper made a retrospective analysis of the clinical data of 85 deaf children who visited Hunan Children's Hospital,P.R. China from January 2020 to December 2021. The conclusion were as follows: Children aged 1-6 years old had multiple syndrome deafness, while children under 1 year old and children aged 6-12 years old had relatively low probability of complex deafness; girls were not easy to have comprehensive deafness, but there was no specific basis to prove that the occurrence of comprehensive deafness was necessarily related to gender; the hearing loss of patients with Noonan Syndrome was mainly characterized by moderate and severe damage and abnormal inner ear and auditory nerve; most of the mutation genes in children were located in Exon1 and Exon3, with a total probability of 57.65%. In the course of the experiment, it was found that deep learning was effective in the diagnosis of deafness with PTPN11 gene mutation syndrome. This technology could be applied to medical diagnosis to facilitate the diagnosis and treatment of more patients with deafness with syndrome. Intelligent medical treatment was also becoming a hot topic nowadays. By using this concept to analyze and study the pathological characteristics of deafness caused by PTPN11 gene mutation syndrome, it not only promoted patients to find diseases in time, but also helped doctors to diagnose and treat such diseases, which was of great significance to patients and doctors. The study of PTPN11 gene mutation syndrome deafness was also of great significance in genetics. The analysis of its genes not only enriched the gene pool, but also provided reference for future research.
