STEAM approach is one of the learning strategies that connect between fields of science with the aim of training critical, creative, innovative thinking skills and student problem-solving skills. The ...purpose of this study is to describe the implementation of STEAM-based mathematics learning at one of the junior high schools in Surakarta. This type of research is qualitative descriptive with the subjects were 16 students of class IX and one STEAM learning teacher. Data collection techniques used are interviews, observations, and documentation. The process of data analysing is through data reduction techniques, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the implementation of STEAM-based mathematics learning implemented a shift system where the number of student attendance was only 50% of the total number of students in the class. The learning process is using the Project Based Learning model because mathematics learning in one of the junior high schools in Surakarta is implemented into the creation of a STEAM project with group discussion methods. STEAM-based mathematics learning covers aspects of STEAM. Science is associated with everyday problems such as applying pascal’s law to elevators. Technology implemented on the use of tools and materials. Engineering is associated with the ability of students in solving problems, one of which is in assembling a project. Art includes the ability of students to create a project. Mathematics is related to calculating and measuring a project. As for the problems experienced by teachers and students during the pandemic of the new normal era, is the estimated time given to complete a project.
Abstract
This study aimed to describe the generic science skills of students who were conducting experiments on the mechanics practicum. This research was qualitative descriptive research. The ...research subjects were the students of the Physics Education Study Program of UIN Raden Intan Lampung in the academic year of 2019 with a total of 130 students. The data collection technique employed was the non-test technique with the observation sheets and interview guidelines as the research instruments. Student activities were observed by 4 observers through direct observation, indirect observation, quantities scale awareness, logical framework, the law of cause and effect, observation, and conclusion. -century skills. The percentage of generic science skills was analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results showed that the students’ overall average generic science skills were 67% which was in the moderate category. The highest was in the direct and indirect observations with a percentage of 78% which was in the high category while the lowest was in the principle-compliant logic framework with a percentage of 59% which was in the poor category. Due to the poor research results in several categories, it is suggested that educators reaffirm generic science skills in learning considering the importance of these skills to support students’ understanding and skills.
Myocardial infarction is the leading cause of death worldwide. Deaths from cardiovascular disease each year have increased due to higher levels of stressors, unhealthy lifestyles and others. In ...addition, according to the World Health Organization, there is usually one death from cardiovascular disease every two seconds, and a heart attack every five seconds. This research used a literature study design and assessed the quality of journals using a JBI cohort, cross-sectional, and case-control studies with the aim of obtaining quality journals in accordance with the research topic. 16 journals were obtained, consisting of six journals from Google Scholar, four journals from Science Direct, five journals from Pubmed, and one journal from Proquest. There are factors that influence myocardial infarction in young adults, namely comorbid factors, psychological factors, lifestyle factors, and gender factors. The comorbid factors that often occur are hypertension, diabetes, dyslipidemia, and obesity, while the genetic factors include a family history of myocardial infarction. Lifestyle factors consist of smoking, alcohol consumption, poor diet, and less activity. Men are more susceptible to myocardial infarction at a young age.

Perkembangan teknologi dan internet di era Revolusi Industri 4.0 yang sangat cepat memberikan dampak besar dalam segala hal, termasuk di bidang pendidikan. Science, Technology, Engineering, ...Mathematics (STEM) merupakan satu pendekatan pembelajaran yang sangat sesuai dengan keterampilan abad 21. Masalah-masalah pembelajaran yang dialami oleh guru matematika SMA/SMK/MA Muhammadiyah di Surakarta adalah: 1) Banyak siswa yang belum aktif dalam pembelajaran, hanya sekedar mendengarkan dan mencatat saja selama pembelajaran. 2) Masih banyak guru yang belum memanfaatkan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) sebagai media belajar siswa. 3) Pembelajaran matematika dengan pendekatan STEM belum dilaksanakan di SMA/SMK/MA Muhammadiyah Surakarta. Pengabdian masyarakat ini dilaksanakan dengan tujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan pembelajaran matematika berbasis STEM bagi guru SMA/SMK/MA Muhammadiyah Surakarta. Kegiatan dilaksanakan melalui tiga tahap, yaitu persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan tindak lanjut. Pada tahap persiapan, dilakukan identifikasi problem-problem pembelajaran matematika yang dihadapi oleh guru. Selanjutnya ditentukan solusi pemecahan masalah, dan ditetapkan waktu dan tempat penyelenggaraan kegiatan. Tahap pelaksanaan dilakukan melalui metode ceramah atau sosialisasi dan tanya jawab. Tahap tindak lanjut dilaksanakan melalui pendampingan pembuatan LKPD matematika berbasis STEM. Hasilnya, kegiatan sudah berhasil terlaksana dengan baik dan lancar. Hasil pre-test dan post-test menunjukkan ada peningkatan pemahaman peserta terhadap pembelajaran matematika yang berbasis STEM, 94% peserta mengalami peningkatan pemahaman tentang STEM, dan nilai rata-rata peserta meningkat sebesar 81.52%

We used ...FastText as the classifier and word representation. The experiment results showed that FastText is better than Random Forest Decision Tree and Logistic Regression. The highest result achieved when FastText is combined with bigram feature with F-measure of 65.7%.
Character education is the main program that must be in school. In this study using qualitative research methods through descriptive explanations that use interviews, documentation, and direct observation related to the teacher's efforts when doing classroom learning and strengthening character education through school programs and in their responsibilities as educators. Research at SMP Muhammadiyah 4 Sambi, Boyolali shows that teachers have an important role in educating students, especially regarding character education because the character of students is an important part of educational outcomes, because education is not only about grades and academic results, but what is more important is character. which is in students to apply their knowledge in everyday life so that students can have good quality academics and be applied in all areas of community life and become good citizens.

Salah satu solusinya adalah dengan ...dosen mempelajari bagaimana mengubah rasa jenuh tersebut dengan kegiatan Ice Breaking. Penggunaan Ice Breaking untuk mengetahui implementasi, manfaat untuk menumbuhkan rasa minat belajar mahasiswa yang akan menjadi tujuan penelitian. Model penelitian yang akan digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu kualitatifdimana data yang akan dikumpulkan melalui analisis, dengan hasil yang menunjukan bahwa : (1) Dengan adanya Ice Breaking dapat menarik dan menumbuhkan rasa minat belajar mahasiswa, meningkatkan motivasi belajar, memudahkan menyerap hasil belajar, serta komunikasi sesame teman dapat terjaga. (2) Ice breaking ini dapat diterapkan pada semua mata kuliah. (3)penerapan Ice Breaking ini bermanfaat untuk menghilangkan rasa jenuh, kebosanan, serta rasa ngantuk selama pembelajaran berlangsung.
Pumice is known as a low-cost material with a porous structure, has the potential as an adsorbent to remove various kinds of pollutant compounds. The abundance of pumice is found in Sungai Pasak area ...and it never been utilized. This study was performed to see the ability of Sungai Pasak pumice as an adsorbent for ammonium removal in water along with its ability to be regenerated. The study was carried out triplo in batches to obtain optimum adsorption conditions which were then used in desorption experiments using HCl 0.1 M agent for regeneration process. The optimum conditions obtained: adsorbate pH 6, adsorbent dose 0.3 g/l, contact time 30 minutes, adsorbent diameter 63 µm and adsorbate concentration 4 mg/l. The results showed that pumice has ability to remove ammonium with adsorption capacity at optimum conditions were 47.06% and 6.27 mg/g with Freundlich's isotherm equation (R2=0.997). Acid agents are able to adsorb ammonium from pumice with an average desorption percentage 88.89% after 2 times of reuse, proving that acidic agents are able to regenerate pumice adsorbents so they can be reused. The potential for adsorption and regeneration of the Sungai Pasak pumice can be utilized to treat water with ammonium such as groundwater and waste water.
