    小規模で自家育苗する生産者の弱毒ウイルス接種苗生産において,より簡易に安定して弱毒ウイルス苗を生産するため,小型噴霧器である口腔洗浄器を用いた噴霧接種条件について検討した.カーボランダムのサイズ(600メッシュ・1200メッシュ)と使用方法(混合法・振りかけ法)の組合せを変えて,キュウリ品種‘エクセレント節成2号’にZYMV弱毒株水溶剤を接種したところ,600メッシュのカーボランダムを予め子葉に振りかけて接種液を噴霧する方法が最も有効であった.また,有効な噴霧距離には10~17.5 cmの幅があり,この距離内で噴霧接種することで72%の感染率であったことから,大まかな噴霧距離でも接種は可能であった.‘エクセレント節成2号’を含むキュウリ6品種を用いて,擦り付け法によるZYMV弱毒株水溶剤感受性を調査したところ,感受性に品種間差異が認められた.
