The philosophical symbolism of H. Skovoroda’s works lies in wisdom, congenial work, seeing the big in the small, unveiling mysteries through the symbolic world. Skovoroda states that to be a ...human-being is to be a philosopher. The aim of philosophy is to reawaken the main mottos of the Age of Enlightenment (honor, dignity, freedom, justice, solidarity, morality). Creating open society in Ukraine on the basis of these mottos is the aim of the modern national state-building. The aim of the article is to ascertain the influence and meaning of the philosophical and anthropological problems in the works of H. S. Skovoroda for building open society in the modern Ukraine. Methodology of the study is complex and based on the social-philosophical and historic-philosophical analysis of anthropological problems in the works by H. S. Skovoroda and its significance for finding personal freedom and building open society. The leading methodological tools are fundamental research basics of the scientific analysis – principles of objectivity, systematicity, integrity, unity of the historic and the logical, determinism, development, and interrelation. Methodology of social and symbolic representations, ethnic representations, and structural functionalism has been used. Results. As Ukraine is experiencing complex social and political processes, the philosophical works by H. S. Skovoroda acquires special importance: formation and preservation of the Ukrainian national identity, national values, morality, and culture. The society needs politically-minded citizens with clear ideas about the prospects of the state development. Researching works of Skovoroda, one can trace the development of the human spirit: an internally-devastated person devoid of life reference points is gradually adapting to the life in society, overcomes the discrepancies between the singular and the whole finding a compromise in the relations with the world around them. The fates of the people and the nation, language and the state were the key problems which H. S. Skovoroda thoroughly and passionately analyzed through the perspective of universal human values. Conclusions. The modern Ukrainian society needs people in harmony with themselves and the world who work on improving themselves and the society. Such people should be able to overcome both their own internal contradictions and the conflicts in society and the world. Putting significant hope on the human-being as the creator of the new morality, H. Skovoroda believed in the possibility of building solid foundations of the state. An internally rich person and citizen is going to contribute to harmony of the nature, the world, human relations focusing on the issues of good and love as integral attributes of the human existence. The writer considered such personalities to be able to carry peace and unity to the unstable reality full of life challenges and to oppose the alienation, absurdity, and insignificance of the human existence.

-fusion has been aroused by both fundamental research and astrophysics and applied science, particularly ...in the field of fusion reactor development. In the 1970s, the idea of studying the nuclear

-fusion reaction using polarized deuteron beams was proposed at the Kurchatov Institute. The development of this idea was continued in the PolFusion (polarized fusion) nuclear physics experiment, which aims at studying the reaction of nuclear

synthesis with polarized source particles in the low energy region. The experiment is planned to measured the scattering asymmetries of
dd
-fusion reaction products in the final state at different mutual orientation of the spins of colliding deuterons in the energy range 10–100 keV. The authors present an overview of the status of the experiment.
A series of muon experiments at the Paul Scherrer Institute in Switzerland deploy ultra-pure hydrogen active targets. A new gas impurity analysis technique was developed, based on conventional gas ...chromatography, with the capability to measure part-per-billion (ppb) traces of nitrogen and oxygen in hydrogen and deuterium. Key ingredients are a cryogenic admixture accumulation, a directly connected sampling system and a dedicated calibration setup. The dependence of the measured concentration on the sample volume was investigated, confirming that all impurities from the sample gas are collected in the accumulation column and measured with the gas chromatograph. The system was calibrated utilizing dynamic dilution of admixtures into the gas flow down to sub-ppb level concentrations. The total amount of impurities accumulated in the purification system during a three month long experimental run was measured and agreed well with the calculated amount based on the measured concentrations in the flow.
The control landing problem for an aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) in the vertical plane is considered. In this paper we propose a discrete method of controlling a continuous object, ...called the method of optimized delta-transformations, which is based on the choice of the control parameters at each step of discretization, which allow minimizing the time duration of the transient process when deviating from the program trajectory, taking into account the restrictions imposed on the control signals. We also made a comparison with the classical method of control generation in the proportional-derivative control circuit. The goal of both methods is to compensate the deviation of the center of mass of the unmanned aerial vehicle from the program flight trajectory. Comparative results of the numerical simulation of the flight of an unmanned aerial vehicle at the landing stage with ideal and noisy measurements of the flight parameters are given.

reactions with a polarized beam and target at low energies up to 100 keV. In this experiment, the differential cross sections and spin-correlation coefficients will be measured for various beam and target polarizations. The status of the PolFusion experiment is discussed. The paper contains a brief review of the theoretical models that can be used to describe

fusion. The mathematical calculations based on partial wave decomposition that can be used for processing the obtained experimental data are considered.
The paper examines the effect of ball (drum) grinding and jet milling on the particle size distribution and specific surface area of the powders produced from blast-furnace slag. The effectiveness of ...jet milling, providing relatively equal powder particles (more than 85% of the fractions is 0–10 μm in size), is shown. Decrease in the average particle size leads to greater specific surface area of the powder and to a sharp increase in activity (strength of the samples prepared with use of blastfurnace slag). Hydraulic activity σ ≥ 30 MPa can be reached by the powder produced from slag with an average particle size to 12 μm and specific surface area S = 0.6–0.8 m

/g, which increases the sample strength. The strength of cemented compositions based on blast-furnace slag can be improved to 40–43 MPa by adding 15–20% Portland cement to the starting mixture.
The paper present the calculation of the strength and rigidity of the removable gripper for moving and turning ellipsoid bottoms of hull equipment. The proposed design solution will reduce the labor ...and material consumption of technological equipment and eliminate the need for welded load-handling and installation elements.

The method of equivalent systems is used to simulate resonator slow-wave structures of beam-plasma devices. A collisionless plasma is considered as a filler for the drift channel. The adequacy of the ...model is shown by comparing the calculation results with known experimental data. The dispersion characteristics of slow-wave systems are analyzed. The structure of the high-frequency unit of a beam-plasma traveling wave tube is developed, and the parameters of the tube are evaluated using the VEGA code.
Philosophers of all times and peoples tried to describe the mystery of magic, each time giving humanity their own images of magical practices, on the one hand, and the attitude to magic from the side ...of public consciousness, on the other. Turning to the problem of magic even today, in the era of worldview pluralism and the crisis of traditional ideas about the world, turns out to be quite relevant. Magic, which actually originated with humanity itself and passed through centuries and millennia, continues to exist in the consciousness of modern human. Some researchers talk about the onset of a «new magical era» and the formation of a whole subculture of magic followers. Yes, today in the individual and mass consciousness there is a sharp increase in interest in everything mysterious and supernatural: on the pages of newspapers, magazines, and social networks there are many ads from magicians and fortune tellers who promise to fulfill almost any wishes of people for a fee, television channels actively broadcast projects that talk about some magical events and phenomena, and even celebrities in their interviews tell how certain mysterious events happened to them, or how they personally turned to the mystery of magical practices. That is, we can say with confidence that the thinking and behavior of modern man is rightfully considered magical. Therefore, magic is not a relic of the past, but an integral part of the consciousness of a modern people. The aim of the publication is to analyze the influence of magic and magical practices on the consciousness and behavior of modern human. Research methodology. Research methods are comprehensive and based on a philosophical-anthropological and philosophical-cultural analysis of magic as an integral part of human consciousness. Discussion. Magic in the mind of a modern people exists in the form of: something prohibited, anti-social, anti-religious, dangerous and harmful; one’s native achievement of a certain goal or fulfillment of desires; everyday rituals and superstitions, which, although some do not associate the direction with magic, somehow have a strong connection with it.Conclusion. Magic is an integral part of the consciousness of modern human. For some, it is something dangerous, frightening, anti-religious and anti-social, and for some, magic appears to be an excellent means of learning about the surrounding world, a tool for subduing supernatural forces and obtaining certain benefits or fulfilling wishes. One way or another, each of us consciously or subconsciously performs certain magical rituals every day. Magic is so firmly entrenched in human consciousness that some philosophers speak of the onset of a «new magical era», which is associated with the open promotion of magical practices, supernatural forces and phenomena in modern society and the formation of such a phenomenon as a «magical worldview», which will perspective of our further research.
