The current stage of distance education development demands enhancement of standards for training of teachers working in that area. Only professional teachers are able to provide quality education ...for people with different abilities, interests and needs, considering their personal characteristics and specifics of distance education. It is critically important to analyse the experience and professional qualities of teachers involved in distance learning given the uniqueness of the current situation and a high probability of transition to distance education. The study was focused on establishing the actual preparedness level of teachers for distance learning and identifying prerequisites for formation of teachers’ readiness to provide students distance education.

To investigate this issue, the study employed the following methods: comparative analysis, synthesis, logical analysis, modeling, deduction, analysis of scientific literature, and the study of student performance. The results of this study are the theoretical and practical foundations of the relationship between school and family in the course of raising a child, establishing common, and distinctive features in the approaches. The practical value of this study lies in the fact that the proposed means and methods of educating children of primary school age can be used by parents and teachers to improve the establishment of contact with the child and effectively influence on them, to form the student as a full-fledged participant in social relations.
The aim of this study is to create an activity by means of technology integration in the foreign language learning of primary school students. A quantitative research method was used in the study. ...The research was conducted in the fall semester of 2021–2022. A total of 248 voluntary primary school students who continued their education in Kazakhstan participated in the study. In the study, 3 weeks of online education, English education and mobile technology education were provided to elementary school students. In the study, the ‘technology in education’ measurement tool developed by the researchers and compiled by experts in the field was used. The measurement tool was delivered and collected by online method to primary school students. The analysis of the data was carried out using the SPSS programme; frequency analysis was carried out with t-test; and the results obtained were added to the study accompanied by tables. According to the results of the research, it was concluded that the technology and foreign language learning status of primary school students was high and the technology status was high at the same time in their English education.

The aim of the study is to examine the relationships between primary school teachers' competencies and their use of internet resources. In this context, primary school teachers' purposes of using ...internet resources, the internet resources and platforms they use, participants' teaching efficacy and educational internet use self-efficacy were examined with a relational approach. In the study, 218 primary school teachers working in Almaty province were included in the study by disproportionate cluster sampling method. Internet use questionnaire, teacher efficacy scale and educational internet use self-efficacy scales were used to collect the data. According to the findings of the study, it was seen that a large proportion of primary school teachers use the Internet for 'accessing information, sharing academic information (homework, projects, etc.) and contributing to their personal and professional development. Kazakh teachers used resources such as "academic, research and educational sites", "web browsers (Google, Yandex, etc.)", "dictionary sites", "social networking sites (Facebook, MySpace, Friendfeed, Google plus, etc.)", "wikis" and "video and photo sharing sites" at high rates. In another finding of the study, it was found that primary school teachers' perceptions of teaching efficacy were at a high level, whereas their perceptions of Internet use self-efficacy were at a medium level. Participants' internet use self-efficacy perceptions show significant differences according to gender and age variables. Finally, significant relationships were found between teacher efficacy and internet use self-efficacy.
It can be said that self-efficacy perceptions of using the Internet for intercultural communication purposes is a characteristic that can be developed by putting computer and Internet use skills into ...practice. Before starting the studies to improve this characteristic, there is a need for research to reveal the current situation. The purpose of this study is to examine the intercultural communication competencies and internet self-efficacy of prospective prospective primary school teachers in Kazakhstan in a relational way. In this study, since it is aimed to examine whether these two variables differ in terms of gender and professional seniority by examining the contribution of internet self-efficacy scores in predicting intercultural communication competence scores of teachers, a relational survey model with descriptive method was used. The research sample consists of prospective primary school teachers at two different universities, in which there are different campuses in Taldykorgan, Ural, Almaty and Semey in Kazakhstan in the 2022-2023 academic year. In this context, questionnaires were collected from 261 teachers through face-to-face questionnaires. According to the findings of the study, teachers' intercultural competence and Internet self-efficacy were found to be at a moderate level. Participant prospective teachers' intercultural competence and Internet self-efficacy differed in relation to gender and age. Finally, internet self-efficacy of prospective primary school teachers significantly predicted their intercultural competence.
In this study, current issues related to Kazakh children's games were examined and the importance of games on Kazakhstan's culture was discussed. While determining the experimental and control groups ...in the study, 105 pupils from the 4th grade of two primary schools in Kazakhstan, who were determined by unbiased assignment, were assigned to 2 experimental and a control groups consisting of 35 pupils. In the study, online-based educational games in Experiment A group, online-based and face-to-face game activities in Experiment B group, and traditional teaching practice in control group were carried out. At the beginning of the study, "Traditional Kazakh Games Achievement Test", "Attitude Towards Traditional Games Scale" and "Cultural Value Perception Scale" were applied to all three groups for pre-test purposes. The data collected in line with the purpose of the study were analyzed using statistical analysis techniques appropriate to the characteristics of the data and a quantitative statistical program was used in a computer environment. The findings obtained were presented in tables. For this purpose, one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) and Sheffe test were used. As a result of the research, pupils in experimental group A, in which online-supported educational games were applied, and in experimental group B, in which online and face-to-face educational games were applied together, achieved higher achievement levels and positive attitudes compared to the control group, which was applied traditional education.
The aim of this research is to evaluate the formation of students' knowledge culture through information technology with student views. In the research, qualitative methods were used to collect the ...data, and the content analysis method was used for the analysis of the data. The data were collected by the researcher through semi-structured interview forms prepared for the teacher and the students. The participants of the research consisted of 40 primary school 4th grade students studying in Almaty, Kazakhstan in the 2020-2021 academic year. The results of the research reveal that students sometimes benefit from information technologies while doing research for information purposes and for doing their school homework. At the same time, as a result of the research, it was determined that the students always benefited from information technologies for activity purposes. The results obtained from the research reveal that education systems, teachers and parents have great duties in the effective use of information technologies by students.
Relevance. Due to the spread of COVID-19, the study and practical application of effective distance learning methods have become the most relevant subjects in teaching. Purpose. The purpose of this ...study is to analyse modern methods and tools for the implementation of distance learning in universities, which can form the basis of teachers' professional readiness for the online learning process. Methodology. Since this subject is broad in content, the study consisted of two parts: theoretical and practical, where functional and dialectical approaches and general methods of research are used: analysis, synthesis, comparison, generalisation, and analysis of scientific literature. Results. The theoretical part analysed the online organisation of the educational process at the I. Zhansugurov Zhetysu University (Republic of Kazakhstan) and the Moscow Institute of Psychoanalysis (Russian Federation), which allowed defining the basic concepts of distance learning. In practice, the criteria of teachers' readiness and modern methods of distance learning are proposed. Conclusions. In conclusion, the study highlights the critical role of modern distance learning methods in higher education, particularly in response to the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic. By analyzing the implementation of these methods at I. Zhansugurov Zhetysu University and the Moscow Institute of Psychoanalysis, the research identifies essential concepts and practical strategies for effective online education. The proposed criteria for teachers' readiness emphasize the importance of equipping educators with the necessary skills and tools for distance learning. These findings can inform the development of comprehensive training programs to enhance the quality of online education in universities.
