Prispevek predstavlja sledove prazgodovinske utrjene naselbine na hribu Tičnica na Vrhniki, ki so bili odkriti med terenskim pregledom aprila 2009. Gradišče sestavljajo nepravilno ...eliptično oblikovan osrednji del naselbine z več nivoji teras in vršnim platojem ter dva večja predprostora v skupni izmeri 4,5 ha. Ostanki obrambnih struktur obsegajo nasipe, ki so večinoma vidni kot oster prelom zunanjih teras v nižje ležeča pobočja. Posamične najdbe prostoročno izdelane keramike omogočajo okvirno datacijo gradišča v bronasto in starejšo železno dobo. Z naselbine, ki se dviga okoli 50 m nad okolico, je bilo mogoče nadzirati enega ključnih delov karavanske poti med severnim Jadranom in srednjo Evropo ter vodni promet po plovni Ljubljanici. Glede na lego in velikost gradišča, ki na vrhniškem koncu nima primerjave, gre skoraj brez dvoma za centralno naselbino na območju sporočenega prazgodovinskega predhodnika rimskega Navporta.

The contribution presents the results of an intensive archaeological survey, conducted in 2019 in the area of the submerged glacial polish in Lake Bled at Želeče. Early use of this part of the lake ...shoreline is attested by an iron double-barbed point, which can tentatively be dated between the Late Roman Period and the High Middle Ages. Rare fragments of medieval and early modern ceramic vessels (12th, 15th–17th centuries), encountered in the rocky shallows a fair distance from the shore, point to a possible existence of a wooden construction, probably connected with fishery and fishing, respectively.
Prispevek predstavlja rezultate intenzivnega arheološkega pregleda območja potopljenega ledeniškega obrusa v Blejskem jezeru pri Zelečah leta 2019. Zgodnje dejavnosti na obravnavanem delu jezerskega ...priobalja dokazuje železna ost z zalustma, kijo lahko okvirno datiramo v čas med poznorimskim obdobjem in visokim srednjim vekom. Redki odlomki srednjeveških in zgodnjenovoveških keramičnihposod (12., 15.-17. stoletje), ki sepojavljajo na območju skalneplitvine, precej stran od obale, nakazujejo možnost tamkajšnjega obstoja lesene konstrukcije, domnevno povezane z ribištvom oziroma ribolovom.
The article discusses an intentionally deformed iron umbo that was discovered during rescue excavations in the area of insula XLIII in Emona (Ljubljana, Slovenia). The round umbo belongs to the group ...of Late La Tène Eastern Celtic or Balkan type shield bosses, which were individually used by the warriors of the local tribes of the southeastern Alpine region in the auxiliary infantry and cavalry of the Early Imperial Period. The symmetrical deformation of the flange and the concave dome are perhaps indicative of a ritual act by a veteran, who made an offering of his weapons upon returning to civilian life and settlement in the newly constructed city.
