This article emphasizes the need to update and integrate a new curriculum which would take into consideration the needs of children, students and youth whose natural environment is the use of ...information-communication technologies. From that perspective, the gamification is the opportunity to increase the interest in children, students and youth, as well as to motivate them, connect and empower their communication and sharing. Gamification can enable the use of well thought off mechanisms which enable winning of badges, collecting points, going to the new levels or winning the prizes. In order to put it onto the next level, communication platforms such as sharing the tasks, exchange of ideas and expressing of the opinions are used. These type of activities may cause the children, students and youth to take a different view of the educational goals and achievements, as something proactive, dynamic and fun, and not only as dull and obligatory. Gamification in education is important to achieve goals and missions in the future of the comprehensive educational system.
Ubrzani ritam razvoja informacijsko komunikacijskih tehnologija odražavaju se na rast i razvoj djece, učenika i mladih. Danasšnje generacije su zapravo generacije igrača video igara koje puno vremena ...provode igrajući se. Takve generacije nazvane su "millennial" generacije. Spomenute generacije su od malena okružene napretkom i razvojem informacijsko komunikacijskim tehnologijama. U skladu s time komuniciraju sa sobom i s okolinom. Prema navedenom posebice je važno potreba aktualiziranja i integriranja novog kurikula koji bi uvažavao potrebe djece, učenika i mladih čije je prirodno okruženje informacijsko komunikacijskih tehnologija. Iz te perspektive igrifikacija (gamifikacija) je prilika za povećanje interesa djece, učenika i mladih, motivacije, povezivanja, te osnaživanja njihove komunikacije i dijeljenja. S igrifikacijom djeci, učenicima i mladima omogućuje se korištenje dobro osmišljenih mehanizama koji omogućuju osvajanje bedževa, sakupljanje bodova, prelazak razina ili osvajanje nagrada. Kako bi to bilo na jednoj značajnijoj razini koriste se nove komunikacijske platforme kao što su dijeljenje zadataka, razmjena ideja i izražavanje mišljenja. Zbog tih bi aktivnosti djeca, učenici i mladi gledali na odgojno obrazovne ciljeve i postignuća kao nešto proaktivno, dinamično i zabavno, a ne kao na nezanimljivo i obvezno. Igrifikacija, odnosno gamifikacija se ne odnosi strogo na stvaranju igre. Ona predstavlja upotrebu mehanizama, dizajna i elemenata igre u ne zabavnom okruženju, a sve to u svrhu promicanja motivacije, truda i lojalnosti. Igrifikacija u odgoju i obrazovanju od velikog je značaja u ostvarivanju ciljeva i zadaća u budućnosti cjelokupnog sustava odgoja i obrazovanja.
Natural and protected environments with authentic widespread traditional construction have become one of the fundamental touristic resources. Traditional architecture is a very crucial part of ...collective cultural heritage. Although it is ample and widespread, only since recent times it has been given its economical value as well as it has been included in tourism. According to the context above, authors have come up with a hypothesis stating that with implying branding of traditional architectural heritage, a positive influence on enrichment of touristic offerings of certain destination will be achieved. The authors defend and fulfill their hypothesis by analyzing different research on the example of rural destinations in Istria.
The paper explores the traditional rural identity and the possibility of its integration in the rural tourism product. There are two main objectives of the research. Firstly, to define traditional ...rural identity and secondly, to find the model to include it in the rural tourism product. Regarding these goals the hypothesis of the paper was that by including traditional rural identity in the rural tourism product it becomes more interesting, more acceptable and more competitive on the market. In order to prove the hypothesis, research was conducted in the rural tourist destination of Istria. The methods we used were interview and survey. We interviewed the inhabitants of Istria, at the age of 60 and over who lived in and knew the identity of a traditional village. The authors of this research analyze assumptions to including organic food in the gastronomic offering of Istrians agritourism. They assume that gastronomic offering of Istrian agritourism that ...includes organic food would be more acceptable and competitive on the tourist market. The authors analyzed their assumptions using surveys conducted in 2007 and 2008 on tourists in Istra to learn whether they prefer organic food, does organic food match modern tourist trends, and are they willing to pay more for it.

U svezi s navedenim ciljevima postavljena
je hipoteza s kojom se tvrdi da uključivanje elemenata tradicijskog seoskog identiteta u ruralni turistički proizvod on postaje zanimljiviji, prihvatljiviji i konkurentniji na turističkom tržištu. Dokazivanje postavljene hipoteze provodilo se na primjeru ruralne turističke destinacije Istre, primjenom metode intervjua s žiteljima Istre u
dobi od 60 i više godina, te metodom anketiranja turista u Istri s kojom se utvrdilo je li turistima tradicijski seoski identitet interesantan i kako ga prihvaćaju u ruralnom turističkom proizvodu.
Globalization is a complex process in which the world economy is shaped and equally affects tourism. At the end of 2008, global economy was hit by the economic crisis, which did not bypass tourism, ...as its integral part. The consequences of the economic crisis are the decline of financial and production power in the world economy, which unfavorably reflects on unemployment and standards of living. Unemployment and the fall of standards of living of the population affect tourist movements, which are, in such circumstances, reduced both in scope and structure. Following the quoted hypothesis, the purpose and the aim of this paper is to research the influence of global economic crisis in the segments of the tourist movements and expenditure on the example of the Istrian tourist destination. The research will be carried out in two phases; theoretical and empirical. The empirical research is based on statistical records and a survey conducted in the period between June and October 2009, involving tourists from coastal Istria.
