In Indonesia, many intermediaries of agricultural products are emerging as modern actors called business aggregators who utilize information from the internet or online technologies in their business ...activities. This study aims to analyze the activities and roles of online aggregators (based on information technology) in the order of value chains of agricultural products, especially vegetables. Purposive sampling technique was used in selecting 12 online business aggregators of vegetable products. Data were obtained through Focus Group Discussions and in-depth interviews with the business aggregator online owner. Based on the results of the analysis show that the main activities of the aggregator business value chain that are divided into three value chains, namely input provider, processing and marketing providers. Online aggregators become important actors in the agribusiness system in the future. In conventional agribusiness systems, non-online aggregators, whose position is in the subsystem, downstream agribusiness, but in online aggregator at present with the advancement of internet, the aggregator is in the middle/middle, between upstream, cultivation, downstream and supporting institutions subsystems. Agricultural produces pass a long journey from the farms up to the end consumers. With the advancement of information technology, aggregator businesses have emerged to shorten the long distribution ...chain. Therefore, farmers as producers can access information both on prices received by consumers and the characteristics of products demanded by consumers. This study aims to (1) explain the distribution chain mechanism through the aggregator business, and (2) analyze the impact on farmers who join the aggregator business distribution chain. There were 12 aggregator businesses and 36 farmers were interviewed as respondents from February to April 2019 using the purposive sampling method. The analysis was conducted using a descriptive approach and a paired sample t-test was carried out to see the impact of the existence of an aggregator on farmers. The results showed that the distribution chain through the aggregator business was shorter compared to the conventional one in which farmers had specific contracts or agreements with the aggregator business. The impact on farmers who join the aggregator business distribution chain is receiving higher prices, leading to increase farmers' income, transparency in prices where farmers know the selling prices at the consumer level, and farmers know consumer preferences for the products. It is expected that farmers will be able to produce better agricultural produces according to consumer preferences as well as to increase farmers' income. Subsidized fuel consumption continues to increase from year to year also put pressure on the state budget so that it becomes increasingly severe. This is caused by the government's energy policy ...tends to be adaptive and short-term oriented (myopic), so the government pays little attention to aspects of long-term autonomy of the Indonesian economy. Subsidy in the 2011 budget amounted to 33.42% of the total expenditure budget, 86% subsidy is used for energy subsidies and 64.6% the largest share of subsidies. The biggest users of fuel subsidy, is land transportation, with the classification of private vehicles, so it can be said that the subsidy is not received by the appropriate require. Related to this, the challenges that must be faced is the obligation to make a breakthrough in order to encourage domestic savings in fuel consumption and diversification in the use of non-fuel energy sources. There are three policy options as an effort to optimize the fuel subsidy savings. First, restrictions on the use of the fuel subsidy program, unfortunately the prospects of success of this policy is not good considering unprepared infrastructure and the emerging moral hazard. Second, the increase in fuel prices, the authors recommend the price increase to Rp 2000, - taking into account the effects of inflation, and financial savings, for the welfare of the people. Third, the use of CNG and new products from the fuel, this policy option can be run in the long run because it requires a longer preparation in building infrastructure.
Today, competition in the global market has become increasingly difficult and and at the same time products and services provided by retail companies tend to be similar. So in such circumstances, ...customers expect not only satisfied with the products and services, but also the pursuit of the perfect shopping experience during the shopping process. The purpose of this study was to devise a customer experience management strategy at a hypermarket retailer Carrefour, Hypermart, Giant, and Lotte Mart. Both overall and per hypermarket retail chains that have the same character. The method used is Factor Analysis, Multi Dimension Scaling (MDS). The object of research is the hypermarket retail customers in Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang and Bekasi to sample 360 people. The results of MDS mapping CEM variable per retail hypermarket retail hypermarket seen no one who is in the first quadrant in which the dimensions 1 and 2 positive namely Gianthypermarket retail. Tthere are three retail hypermarket located in quadrant 2 wherein the dimensions of 1 positive and 2 negative dimension namely retail Carrefour, Hypermart and Lotte Mart. In MDS can be classified Group 1 are the outlets; Group 1 are GPS (Giant Plaza Semanggi), CLB (Carrefour Lebak Bulus), CPH (Carrefour Permata Hijau) and HPV (Hypermart Pejaten Village) which leads to a positive value. While other outlets in group 2 are CCB (Carrefour Cibinong Bogor), GBT (Giant BSD Tangerang), GMD (Giant Margo city Depok), HPB (Hypermart Pondok Gede Bekasi), HJT (Hypermart JACC Thamrin), LRP (Lotte Mart Ratu Plaza), LKG (Lotte Mart Kelapa Gading), LF (Lotte Mart Fatmawati) have in common in the lower quadrant (negative).
This study aims to conduct a systematic analysis of the recent investigations on the process of higher education's digital transformation, particularly in developing nations. Publish or Perish v8 ...Software was used to conduct a systematic literature review. Initially, there were 40 papers selected, but after several search strategies as follows: Determination of search phrases based on research questions; Finding suitable search terms in titles, abstracts, and keywords; Identification of search term synonyms, other spellings, and antonyms, the number of articles to be examined has been decreased to 30. Through descriptive analysis, we try to respond to these two research questions: 1) the process of digital transformation in developing countries' higher education, and 2) what challenges do these developments present? Based on the analysis, the process of digital transformation lies in 4 processes which are planning, organizing, controlling, and evaluating. The process involved was the internal business process and the educational program. While the challenges come from the lack of expertise, lack of facilities, and uncertain economic condition. Several strategies are needed to support the digital transformation in developing countries' higher education.
The process of digital transformation is extremely complicated, particularly at vocational high schools, and scholars should be able to comprehend it. We use the seven steps of the soft systems ...methodology to better understand the process of digital transformation, especially in Indonesian vocational high schools. An exploratory investigation was the methodology employed. To collect data, in-depth interviews were conducted. The principal and teachers from the vocational schools in Indonesia were the major interviewers. The results revealed the actors engaged and the challenges they faced in converting the physical situation into a digital one. The article put up a soft system-based digital transformation concept for vocational high schools. Broader research utilizing this methodology is urgently needed to comprehend the model as the research was constrained by the small research item used.
The purpose of this study is to explore the social media marketing strategy of Indonesian traditional woven fabric retailing stores and describe the visual merchandising elements of the social media ...marketing strategy. This study uses a single case study of an Indonesian small-and-medium enterprise (SME) that produces and sells "uis karo" ("uis nipes") traditional woven fabric. This study identifies how the SME traditional woven store has utilized social media marketing to promote and sell its products and how it incorporates online visual merchandising in its social media marketing activities. The study provides a novel contribution into the study of online visual merchandising and its intersection with social media marketing. This paper suggests traditional woven fabric industry on how three elements of online visual merchandising (path-finding, environmental, and product presentation factors) can be incorporated into social media marketing actions.
This study aims to conduct a systematic literature analysis of the recent research papers on the framework of smart campuses in developing countries. We were using Publish or Perish v8 software to ...conduct the systematic literature analysis. We were using specific keywords such as 'SMART CAMPUS" and 'DEVELOPING COUNTRIES from the Scopus database. We got 26 papers, ranging from 2015-2023. After several analyses, we were using 16 papers as the basis of this systematic literature review. Through descriptive analysis, we try to respond to these two research questions: 1) The framework of smart campuses in developing countries, and 2) The challenges in utilizing smart campuses in developing countries. The framework of smart campuses that we used consists of 5 indicators: smart society, smart economy, smart environment, smart governance, and smart technology. Based on the analysis, most smart campuses in development focus their activities on smart society and smart governance. While the challenges come from the lack of expertise, lack of facilities, and uncertain economic condition. Several strategies are needed to support the smart campus in developing countries" higher education.
In recent years, digital transformation has changed the vocational education world. This transformation improves the schools' market condition, impacts the stakeholders, and changes how business is ...run. In entrepreneurship education, digital transformation brings social and economic changes for the students and the societies around the schools. With these trends, the vocational school found the need to equip people with new technological skills. This paper is focused on identifying the effect that vocational high school plays in the digital transformation of society, in this case, the Vocational high school 2 in Soe, East Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia. The methodology used was an exploratory study, using a mix-method with in-depth interviews and questionnaires. The outcomes acquired confirmed Vocational High School's positive impact on the advanced improvement of the East Nusa Tenggara. As distinguish the inspirations that lead the professional secondary school to take an interest in digital change drives, recognize the abilities expected to fulfill the needs of the work market, and distinguish the endeavors made by the professional secondary school to stay aware of the advanced change society.
