The purpose of this study was to identify what topics adolescents would like to have discussed or addressed when visiting family physicians and to assess the extent to which such discussion is taking ...place. The main health issues in adolescents are; injuries as intentional injuries are the leading cause of death and disability among adolescents. Violence, mental health, alcohol and drug use, tobacco use, HIV/AIDS, other infectious diseases and early pregnancy and childbirth. There seems to be a need for more comprehensive health education in schools and for health professionals, particularly general practitioners, to opportunistically address these problems in their adolescent patients. Also parents should take their teens to their GP for treatment for these problems, hoped their doctor would be comfortable with such treatment, and wanted their doctor to discuss these problems with their teens.

Febrile convulsions are the most common type of convulsions that affect children aged 6 months to 5 years old. Iron deficiency anemia could be a risk factor for febrile convulsions as was suggested ...by some studies, for the reason that febrile convulsions is common in children under 5 years and iron deficiency anemia is also more common in children in the same age bracket. The prevalence of febrile convulsions is 2-5% of the total number of children. Studies discussing the association of iron deficiency anemia and febrile convulsions are contradictory. Management of cases is of great importance as there are special guidelines. Prevention is also vital as it plays a role in evading the occurrence of the convulsions.
Background: Malnutrition is an underlying factor in many diseases in both children and adults, and it contributes greatly to the disability-adjusted life years worldwide. It is a major public health ...concern in developing countries among children since it places a heavy burden on already disadvantaged communities.
Methods: This is systematic review was carried out, including PubMed, Google Scholar, and EBSCO using the following terms in different combinations: Malnutrition, overweight, underweight, systemic review, primary school children, Saudi Arabia.
Results: The review included 9 studies from different countries that assess the level of malnutrition and associated factors among school children. Many of studies reported high prevalence of malnutrition among school children which included overweight, stunting, wasting and underweight. The studies reported that age, gender, regularity of father’s employment, and dietary factors were associated with malnutrition. Also, the type of school attended was found to be associated with malnutrition.
Conclusion: This review concluded that there was high malnutrition prevalence among school children in different parts and its affected by many factors like age and gender.
