This study analyzes the relationship of inclusive economic development to the quality of the environment in Indonesia. Secondary data used was derived from Bappenas, Ministry of Environment and ...Forestry of the Republic of Indonesia, period from 2013 to 2017. The results showed that inclusive economic development still resulted in environmental degradation. The inclusive economic development index, which is one of the sustainable development goals that represent the achievement of economic dimensions and social dimensions, leads to degradation of the environmental extent. The Environmental Kuznets Curve (EKC) did not occur in the year of observation of this study. The recommendation for stakeholders is to prioritize environmental sustainability in every policy taken. For future researchers may consider research to determine indicators of sustainable development, which are composite indicators consisting of all dimensions (economic, social, environmental).
Economic development in a region is not only measured by the fiscal dimension andthe economic growth but also based on the income distribution. This study aims toanalyze the effect of fiscal ...decentralization on investment, economic growth, economic structure, employment opportunities, and income inequality between districts/cities in East Kalimantan Province, Indonesia. This study uses panel data (2013-2019) of the amalgamation of seven districts and three cities in East Kalimantan Province, analyzed using the Structural Equation Model (SEM). The findings show that regional tax plays a crucial role in enhancing regional investment, economic growth, and employment opportunities. It is also important for reducing the economic structure imbalance and income inequality. Profit-sharing funds improve regional investment, economic growth, and employment opportunities. At the same time, special allocation increases employment opportunities and economic structure imbalance. Furthermore, regional retribution increases employment opportunities and reduces the economic structure imbalance, but it harms regional economic growth. The practical implications offer solutions to the realization of local revenue sources for economic development and alleviation of social problems, such as employment opportunities and inequality in welfare.

The data is based on time series during budget year of 2014-2018, which was compiled through the publication of the Regional Revenue Agency and Central Bureau of Statistics Samarinda City. The analytical tool used is Degree of Fiscal Decentralization.Simple conclusions that can be obtained based on the analytical tool, namely: (1) The average ratio of Regional Original Income to Regional Revenues is 3,44% (very less); (2) The average ratio of Tax Sharing and Non Tax/Natural Resources Sharing to Regional Revenues is 39,69% (sufficient); (3) The average ratio of Balanced Budget to Regional Revenues is 64,51% (very good); (4) The average ratio of Regional Original Income to Regional Expenditures is 11,94% (less); (5) The average ratio of Regional Original Income to Capital Expenditures is 42,75% (good); and (6) The average ratio of Tax Sharing, Non Tax/Natural Resources Sharing, and Regional Original Income to Regional Expenditure is 47,20% (good).
Apart from the health aspect, Covid-19 has also had socio-economic effects from the fragile balance of development that has designed so far. Instantly, humans experience suffering that is difficult ...to predict when it will stop. The primary aim of this study is to evaluate the fragility of the socio-economic order because of Covid-19. These two motifs are the basic essence of human beings, especially the population in Indonesia. A two-way correlation applied to the IBM SPSS to predict the effect of Covid-19 on poverty, natality, minimum wages, divorce, GRDP per capita, unemployment, and crime over two periods. The database is as cross-section covering ten areas in East Kalimantan Province. We found the importance of the correlation parameter in this study that it turns out that Covid-19 closely related to the minimum wage, unemployment, and crime. Because Covid-19 has a positive effect on these three variables and the probability has met the criteria, this is also the right instrument for the government in determining special strategies. The implications of the research are to contribute to long-term management in disaster mitigation planning.
The purpose of this research is to analyze the government's role in improving education through cooperation programs in the Kutai Kartanegara Regency Area. This research uses a qualitative approach. ...The population in this study were 45 students who received cooperation programs, and the Kutai Kartanegara Regency Area Education Service, as well as the Kutai Kartanegara Regency Area Regional Secretariat. In this research, the sampling technique used was random sampling method. The sample taken based on random sampling method was 5 students who received scholarships from the Kutai Kartanegara Regency Area Government collaboration program. Data analysis activities are carried out during research activities (during data collection), and the most important activities include data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing or verification. The research results show that the Kutai Kartanegara Regency Area Government functions as a provider of support and convenience for regional officials to access scholarship programs. The driving factor for the government's role in improving education through cooperation programs in the Kutai Kartanegara Regency Area is commitment and budget support. The inhibiting factor for the government's role in improving education through cooperation programs in the Kutai Kartanegara Regency Area is the lack of information and counseling as well as bureaucracy and administrative obstacles.

The purpose of this research is to analyze the role of government internal supervisory official in overseeing the development of the integrity zone in the West Kutai Regency Government. The type of ...research used is qualitative research using a phenomenological approach through observation, in-depth interviews, discussions, and document research. The informant involved in the research is the West Kutai Regency Inspectorate Auditor, an element of regional apparatus involved in developing the integrity zone. The research uses 4 stages of phenomenological analysis. The research results show that the role and commitment of all lines within the West Kutai Regency Government to build an integrity zone is an influential factor in supporting the role of Government Internal Supervisory Official in overseeing the development of the integrity zone in the West Kutai Regency Government. These two factors have not worked optimally due to differences in perception between lines within the West Kutai Regency Government.

To achieve regional economic growth, the role of regional budgets is very important. In this regard, the utilization of regional economic and financial resources is an important factor in supporting ...the implementation of the fiscal decentralization system in the area. The implementation of fiscal decentralization in Indonesia is marked by the process of transferring financial resources to regions in significant amounts. In the last five years (2011-2015), the proportion of balancing funds to total regional income nationally reached an average of 73%. Despite the huge spike in decentralization policies, the implementation of fiscal decentralization in East Kalimantan Province, one of Indonesia's provinces, till now has not been able to bring about improving the welfare of local communities. In reality, there is still income inequality, although still relatively low in East Kalimantan Province. This study performs to measure the impact of fiscal decentralization on economic growth and income inequality in East Kalimantan – Indonesia. The hypothesis in this study is that fiscal decentralization negatively affects income inequality directly or indirectly through economic growth in East Kalimantan – Indonesia. The aim of this study is how to use the heuristic network to prove this hypothesis.
Tourism has adapted rapidly in various worlds, including Indonesia, and created significant harmonization for economic, social, and cultural uses. Since the change in the status of the village forest ...(HD) in 2014, it is hoped that it will become an opportunity for Merabu Village to increase the productivity of agriculture, livestock, and tourist destinations. The focus of this study is to explore the tourism potential of Merabu Village. We obtained data sets through interviews, FGDs, and field observations of a number of informants who predominantly work as farmers. The trend of tourist visits every year is also increasing and especially rural-tourism is managed by Kerima Puri. Since the beginning of the presence of domestic tourists and foreign tourists, there have been tour boat services that took them to the gate of Nya’deng Lake, homestays, food providers, and various traditional attractions (cultural festivals). As a rural tourism area, HD has a positive impact on local residents to be involved in rural-tourism development. This finding also hopes for a real contribution from relevant parties to advance the rural-tourism of Merabu Village
