Bu çalışmada kripto paraların turizm işletmelerinde ödeme yöntemi olarak kullanılmasının tüketicide oluşturacağı satın alma niyeti araştırılmıştır. Bu kapsamda tüketicilerin kripto para kullanan ...işletmeyi algılama düzeyi, kripto para ile ürün veya hizmet alımında tüketicinin sağlayacağı fayda, kripto para ile yapılan ödeme sistemine duyulan güven ve kullanılacak kripto paranın işlevselliği alt boyutlarının tüketici satın alma tercihi üzerindeki etkisinin belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bu kapsamda sosyal medya ağlarından Facebook ve Twitter üzerinden 270 kripto para kullanıcısına anket yapılmıştır. Yapılan analizler sonucunda kripto para kullanıcılarının turizm ürününü kripto para ile satın alma niyetleri ile kripto para ile yapılan ödeme yöntemine duyulan güven, kripto para kullanan turizm işletmelerini algılama düzeyleri, turizm ürününü kripto para ile satın almadan elde edeceği fayda ve kullanılan kripto paranın işlevselliği arasında anlamlı ve pozitif yönlü bir ilişki bulunmuştur. Kripto para kullanıcılarının turizm ürününü kripto para ile satın almaya istekli oldukları görülmüştür.
The present study employs a framework of residents’ emotional solidarity with tourists (e.g., welcoming nature, emotional closeness and sympathetic understanding), and tourism’s positive-negative ...impacts to understand residents’ support for tourism. The Research model was tested using a sample of 405 residents living in Alanya/Turkey. Data were collected using a face-to-face survey. Alternative models were used to test the theoretical structure of this study. The validity and credibility of the constructs were tested through confirmatory factor analysis, while its hypotheses were tested using path analysis. In Model 1, the dimensions of emotional solidarity and the positive and negative impacts of tourism and their direct effects on support for tourism were examined, and Model 2 showed results similar to those in Model 1. Results revealed that welcoming nature and sympathetic understanding had a positive effect on the positive impacts of tourism. However, emotional closeness did not affect the positive impacts associated with tourism. Regarding residents’ support, welcoming nature had the greatest positive effect on the support for tourism compared to other dimensions included in the framework of emotional solidarity, emotional closeness, and sympathetic understanding. The results of this study could enhance destination marketing managers when they need to understand residents’ support for tourism development.
Although travel influencers (TIs) are viewed as a marketing tool in tourism, little research has been conducted to identify the relationships in the influence mechanism processes. To fill this gap, ...stimulus-organism-response theory has been applied to investigate the effects of TIs on visit intention during the COVID-19 pandemic. Partial least squares structural equation modelling (PLS-SEM) was used to analyze the data collected from social media users in Turkey. The findings of the study suggest that dimensions of TI affect cognitive response and trust differently, which in turn influences visit intention. Second, the expertise and attractiveness of the indirect effect of content on visit intention have been determined, mediated by cognitive response and trust. Third, COVID-19 fear has been found to moderate the relationship between trust and visit intention. However, confidence in vaccine has not been found to moderate the association between cognitive response with trust, and visit intention. The study helps the tourism industry and influencer agencies to create marketing communication strategies to attract more tourists via social media.

Kırsal turizmi daha iyi anlamak ve sağlıklı bir kırsal kalkınma modeli olarak ele alabilmek için var ...olan bilgi ve uygulamaların ortaya konması gerekmektedir. Ayrıca konu ile ilgili bilimsel ilerlemeyi görebilmek için araştırma boşluklarını ve bilimsel verileri güncellemeye ve bu araştırma alanındaki bilgiyi artırmaya yönelik eğilimleri analiz etmek önemlidir. Bu nedenle, bu bibliyometrik inceleme, kırsal turizm alanındaki araştırma ilerlemesini, eğilimleri ve güncellemeleri incelemiştir. Araştırmada kullanılan yayınların seçimi için Web of Science veri tabanı, bibliyometrik inceleme için VOSviewer ve Bibliometrix yazılımları kullanılmıştır. Bu bibliyometrik çalışmada elde edilen sonuçlar, konu ile ilgili çalışmaların 2000 yılından sonra artmaya başladığını ve son dönemlerde sürdürülebilirlik ve kalkınma konularının yoğun bir şekilde çalışıldığını ve ülkeler bazında da Çin ve İspanya’nın konu ile ilgili en yoğun çalışan ülkeler olduğunu ortaya koymaktadır. Ayrıca çalışmada işletme ve destinasyon yöneticilerine çeşitli çıkarımlar da sunulmaktadır.
Rural tourism is an essential alternative tourism type with increasing demand in recent years. To better understand rural tourism and to be considered a healthy rural development model, existing knowledge and practices should be revealed. It is also important to analyze research gaps and trends toward updating scientific data and increasing knowledge in this research area to see scientific progress. Therefore, this bibliometric review has examined research progress, trends, and updates in rural tourism. Web of Science database was used to select the publications used in the research, and VOSviewer and Bibliometrix software were used for bibliometric analysis. The results obtained in this bibliometric study reveal that the studies on the subject started to increase after 2000. That sustainability and development issues have been studied intensively in recent years, and that China and Spain are the countries that work most intensively on the subject. In addition, various implications are presented to business and destination managers in the study.
Drawing on the Cognitive Response Theory (CRT), this research aimed to examine how travel influencers' (TI) content about volunteer tourism affect their followers' intention to participate in ...volunteer tourism (VT). The informativeness of volunteer tourism activities' (VTA) in TIs' content was evaluated as external information according to the components of the CRT in terms of the intention to participate in volunteer tourism. According to the findings, while VTAs' informativeness in TIs' content positively affects ascribed responsibility, information quality and curiosity, all of the variables were found to have positively affected positive emotion. In addition, there is a serial mediation relationship among all of the research variables.
Using a non-linear autoregressive distributed lag time-series analysis, this paper investigates the causal relationship between climate change, the tourism sector, and energy consumption in Turkey. ...The trade-off between a country’s economic growth and the environmental degradation caused by tourism and the energy sector is critical in terms of scientifically addressing the issue and developing economic policies. As a result, climate change is used as the dependent variable and is represented by precipitation and temperature separately; the independent variables are tourist arrivals, energy consumption, and economic growth. Data is gathered by various institutions from 1995 to 2020. According to the test results, while positive and negative shocks contribute to the decrease in precipitation and temperature in renewable energy consumption (REC) in the long-run, they affect the increase in precipitation and temperature in non-renewable energy consumption (NREC). In the long-run relationship between tourism and temperature, a decrease in the number of tourist arrivals causes a decrease in temperature and precipitation. The findings reveal that a decrease in the number of tourist arrivals and an increase in REC may aid in decreasing temperature, while the increase in NREC may cause an increase in temperature. Through a case study of Turkey, decision-makers should consider these scientific findings that are in the frame of non-linear analysis as possible scenarios for mitigating climate change and fostering sustainable economic growth with efficient tourism policies for the world.
Bu araştırmanın amacı; dört ve beş yıldızlı otel çalışanlarının işe gömülmüşlük düzeylerinin demografik özelliklerine göre farklılaşıp farklılaşmadığını ortaya koymaktır. Araştırma verileri, ...İstanbul’daki dört ve beş yıldızlı otel çalışanlarından toplanmıştır. Uygulama aşamasında kullanılabilir 492 anket toplanmış ve analizlerde SPSS ve AMOS paket programları kullanılmıştır. Dört ve beş yıldızlı otel çalışanlarının işe gömülmüşlük düzeylerinin demografik özelliklerine göre farklılaşıp farklılaşmadığını ortaya koymak için t-testi ve tek yönlü ANOVA analizleri tercih edilmiştir. Bulgular; otel çalışanlarının, işe gömülmüşlük düzeylerinin cinsiyet ve yaşa göre farklılık göstermediğini ortaya koymaktadır. Ancak evli ve beş yıldızlı otel çalışanlarının işe gömülmüşlük düzeyleri daha yüksektir. Otel çalışanlarının eğitim düzeyleri, aylık gelirleri ve aynı işletmedeki deneyim süreleri arttıkça işe gömülmüşlük düzeyleri artmaktadır. Son olarak otel işletmelerinde arka planda görev alan bölümler olan muhasebe, satış-pazarlama, mutfak bölümleri çalışanlarının işe gömülmüşlük düzeyleri daha yüksektir.
The purpose of this research is to reveal whether the levels of job embeddedness of four and five-star hotel employees differ in terms of their demographic characteristics. The research data were collected from four and five-star hotel employees working in İstanbul. During the application phase, 492 questionnaires which are useable were collected and SPSS and AMOS package programs were used to analyze the data. T-test and one-way ANOVA analyses were preferred to reveal the effects of demographic characteristics on job embeddedness. Results show that the levels of job embeddedness of hotel employees do not differ by gender and age. However, hotel employees who are married and working in five-star hotels have higher levels of job embeddedness. As the hotel employees’ level of education, monthly income and the duration of their experience in the same hotel increases, their level of job embeddedness heighten. Finally, employees of the departments of accounting, sales-marketing, and kitchen departments, which are the departments that take part in the background in the hotel, have higher levels of job embeddedness.
This study aims to examine how young peoples' participation in a local youth music festival may effect their subjective well-being. In more detail, this study attempts to examine the relations ...between the festival features, the feelings young people develop, social identification and subjective well-being in young people's participation in music festivals. The research was conducted in Eskisehir, Turkey. The sample population consisted of individuals participated in youth music festival EskiFest. The questionnaire forms were randomly handed out at the exit of the festival area to potential respondents and collected back after completion. Consequently, a total of 398 usable questionnaires were included in the analysis. The results confirm that festival characteristics as music quality, places and atmosphere, information and facilities are effective in creating positive emotions and social identity formation which consequently effects subjective well-being of young people. The results of the study will assist to the festival organizers in developing strategies for better quality organization of the festivals and increasing the satisfaction of the young participants by understanding their emotions.

tanıtım için yüksek bütçeli promosyon ve reklam harcamaları
gerçekleştirmektedir. Bu bağlamda çalışmanın amacı turizm gelirleri ile
ekonomik büyüme arasında bir ilişki olup olmadığını dinamik panel ve panel
nedensellik modeli ile test etmektir. Bu bağlamda 2000-2016 yılları arasında
OECD ülkeleri içerisinde yer alan ve turizm gelirleri ile GSYH rakamlarına
ulaşılan 30 ülke üzerinde analiz gerçekleştirilmiştir. Fark GMM dinamik panel
tahmin yöntemi kullanılarak gerçekleştirilen analiz sonucunda turizm
gelirlerindeki değişimin ekonomik büyüme üzerinde anlamlı ve pozitif bir etkisi
olduğu gözlemlenmiştir. Panel nedensellik sonuçlarına göre ise turizm gelirlerindeki
değişimden GSYH’deki değişime doğru bir nedensellik ilişkisi tespit edilmiştir.
Tourism revenues are one of the most important sources
of income both for developed and developing countries. As a matter of fact,
while many countries do not require visa or make the process of obtaining visa
easy, some organize tour packages and spare no expense in tourism sector by
allocating high budget for advertisements. In this context, the study aims to
test whether there is a relationship between tourism revenues and economic
growth, by means of dynamic panel and panel causality model. Therefore, an
analysis of the tourism revenues and GDP figures in the period of 2000-2016 of
30 OECD member countries has been made. As a result of the analysis conducted
using the GMM dynamic panel estimation method, it is observed that the change
in tourism revenues had a significant and positive effect on economic growth.
According to the results of the panel causality, a causality relation is
determined from the change in tourism revenues to the change in GDP.
