Abstract
The Syriac language is one of the oldest languages in the world. So far, some people speak it, for example in Iraq, Syria, southeastern Turkey and other countries. In this work, the Syriac ...letters were coded according to what was adopted by Sami and Mahmood in 2017 using the e-abacus diagram. More than one method is used to encode the English letters or diagrams that follow the concepts of partition theory. Each of them was taking its own path and the vision was to start with what Mohommed et al looked like in 2015 through the orbit concept. Then make the comparisons to observe the most efficient, fastest and most accurate method that could be followed.

The Syriac language is one of the ancient Semitic languages that appeared in the first century AD. It is currently used in a number of cities in Iraq, Turkey, and others. In this research paper, ...we tried to apply the work of Ali and Mahmood 2020 on the letters and words in the Syriac language to find a new encoding for them and increase the possibility of reading the message by other people.
A highly accelerating number of people around the world have been infected with novel Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). Mass screening programs were suggested by the World Health Organization ...(WHO) as an effective precautionary measure to contain the spread of the virus. On 16 April 2020, a COVID-19 mass screening program was initiated in Saudi Arabia in multiple phases. This study aims to analyze the number of detected COVID-19 cases, their demographic data, and regions most affected in the initial two phases of these mass screening programs. A retrospective cross-sectional study was conducted among the high-risk population as part of the COVID-19 mass screening program across all regions in Saudi Arabia during April and May 2020. A Chi-square-test was used to determine the associations between positive cases and various demographic variables. Out of 71,854 screened individuals, 13.50% (
= 9701) were COVID-19 positive, of which 83.27% (
= 59,835) were males. Among positive cases, in the 30-39 years age group, 6.36% were in the active phase, and 2.19% were in the community phase. Based on our experience, launching mass screening programs is crucial for early case detection, isolation, and pattern recognition for immediate public interventions.

Descending necrotizing mediastinitis (DNM) is a rare but severe life threatening complication of oropharyngeal infections. We report a young lady who had severe pharyngitis complicated by anterior ...neck infection that descended to the mediastinum causing necrotizing mediastinitis. The course of her illness was complicated with septic shock, acute kidney injury, tracheo-esophageal fistula, and critical illness polyneuropathy. There was considerable delay in her diagnosis; however, she survived after aggressive surgical intervention, wide spectrum antibiotics, and appropriate intensive care management. Early and repeated chest imaging using computed tomography was vital for the detection and follow up of this case. There is a need to increase physicians' awareness of this condition that can complicate odontogentic or pharyngeal infection, procedures, or trauma.
