Teaching overseas has always been a great opprotunity for academic and social development. Teachers who have international experiences stand a better chance of not only developing their teaching ...skills, communication skills and classroom management but also learning new languages and about other cultures. Teaching abroad can help teachers promote their skills for efficiency and effectiveness. It is important to stress that teachers with international experience can teach effectively and can contribute to the achievement of their students more. This paper focuses on five reasons why teachers prefer teaching overseas.

In the Turkmen version of Koroglu Legend, there exist lots of country, city and place names belonging to the Turkish world and neighboring folks. The places in the legend are not only composed of ...Turkmen lands and neighbors, but there are other extraordinary places like Kaf Mountain as well. The hero of the legend, Koroglu, has connections with neighboring places because of various reasons. In the most of the sections, Koroglu organizes wars against the neighboring countries and cities. He imposes a tax on some of those countries and cities. Arzılum (Erzurum) is also one of the cities in which Koroglu is interested. Although it’s far from Turkmen geography, Erzurum takes place in the Turkmen version of the legend. The city is described in details. In the most sections of the legend, the name and the characteristics of the city, particularly “Erhasan and Tellihan” take place. In this study, the materials related to Erzurum, which is located in twenty one sections of the Turkmen version of Koroglu Legend, have been analyzed. The information given about the city has been evaluated, particularly by moving from the section of “Erhasan and Tellihan”. Career development and career planning are very significant in the current age of technology, because current century and global changes have given birth to an atmosphere in which nearly everything ...is in competition with each other. This case is also valid for educators. On one side, everything is changing very fast; on the other side, they are supposed to adopt themselves these rapid changes. Such an adaptation requires some certain commitment, motivation and planning concerning themselves and their students. In this sense, being just a good teacher will not be enogh. Teachers should be open-minded people, especially concerning innovations and internal or external (self) evaluations. For the instituions; they are supposed to set necessary settings with short and long-term goals in terms of career development of their educators. In this way, the process of education turns into a win-win situation for teachers, learners and schools.

Every society is composed of individuals who share a common culture thorough the language they use. The continuity of this culture and its transmission to the other generations are mostly made ...through the language. The literary works are those transponders that convey the cultural heritage of the nations to the future and put a light on the past. Although literature is supposed to do so, the language is shaped in the hands of master of languages; namely, literary men. As famous Russian literary critic, writer and philosopher Belinski said, literature is the best expression of a nation’s spirit in the medium of language. In another word, the literature is to add something from the soul, feelings into the work of art by using language.

Literature is not the product of a specific nation; rather it is a combination of the experiences of all nations. So to speak, there is inheritance amongst the literary texts all over the world ...literature. Thinking of the global changes and technological development, it is quite easy to see the issue of interaction between the nations which is called “intertextuality”. This concept appears in a literary work within different interactions. Especially the religions, trade, wars, social and or economic movement, internet and technology have significant roles in this because this interaction is provided through these factors in the society. Now that, the society is mirrored up in the literature, these affects necessarily will be seen in the literature and the scholars deal with finding formic, contently and stylistic resemblances among the cultures and literary areas in a literary work. In this study, two aspects of these interactions in the literature will be handled as theme-based and form-based. The stylistic resemblances will be treated under the form-based part.
One of the love-themed sagas in Turkmen saga tradition is the saga of ̳Varka-Gülşa‘ which has been popular among the Turkmen. It is seen that the saga has gained a richer content as a result of the ...influence of Turkmen culture. Love-themed Turkmen sagas have bard-narration, folk-narration and written variants. The saga of ̳Varka-Gülşa‘ is a good example of them. In the saga, Varka and Gülşa fall in love with each other. Later in the saga, the chain of events comes out after the death of Varka‘s father. Varka and Gülşa are not allowed to marry. Varka gets away from his homeland. And Gülşa is forced to have a marriage with someone else. In the saga, the lovers finally reunite after suffering from a long-lasting pain of separation. However, they remain together for a short time. In this paper, a concise summary of the three different variants of the saga of ̳Varka-Gülşa‘ will be provided and subsequently an episode analysis will be done.

The legends which are one of the examples of the oral narrative traditions of Turkmen literature, are the narrative stories that include the people related to the public beliefs, places and the ...events and that are believed to be the true by the audience. In the Turkmen literature, there are legends in different types not only talking about the persons, places (castles) and etc. but also telling of the stories of the historical personalities. The legends about the famous Turkmen poet Maghtumguly are one of those types. There are different studies conducted on the legends that are public narratives. One of these is typology studies, as well. In the literary texts, there are two main contrary types. Non-existence of one of those will make the existence of the other meaningless. One is the hero that is positive type (protagonist) and the other is negative enemy type (antagonist). In the literary works, there certainly exist one negative enemy type against the positive hero. These types can be classified as the hostile leading types, women types, deceitful types, close relatives and friend types. Analyzing the types in the literary works, it is provided to reveal out the cultural richness. In this context, it is analyzed the enemy types by examining the available legend texts about the famous Turkmen poet Maghtumguly.
The pride of Turkish-Muslim World Avicena has lived between 980-1037 years A.D. His full name is Ebu Ali el-Hüseyin bin Abdullah İbni Sina. He had extraordinary mental capacities in the following ...fields of science: Philosophy, Medicine, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Geometry, Astronomy, Music, Geology, Literature. He had approximately written 150-200 works in the above mentioned fields of science. He was a scientist, a physician and a philosopher. In the West he is known by the following name: Avicena. His general epithets known from the literature are as follows: the Prince of Philosophers, the Sultan of Physicians, the Wonder Child of the East, The Grand Master, The Master Scientist. There exist various recorded legennds and saying regarding Avicena in Turkmenistan.In the given work we analyse the motives of four legends regarding İbni Sina (Avicena) recorded in Turkmenistan comparing them with the motives analysed in the work entitled Motif Index of Folk Literature by Stith Thompson. of the cultural oppression are.
Juvenile dermatomyositis is a multisystemic autoimmune disease with uncertain etiology. Both innate immunity and adaptive immunity play a role on the pathogenesis of the disease. Selective ...immunoglobulin A deficiency is the most common primary immunodeficiency. Association between immunoglobulin A deficiency and autoimmune diseases including few juvenile dermatomyositis patients have been reported. A previously healthy 15-year old girl was diagnosed with juvenile dermatomyositis according to Bohan and Peter criteria and selective immunoglobulin A deficiency due to the low level of immunoglobulin A (<6 mg/dl). After 3 months of immunosuppressive treatment, her physical examination revealed no muscle weakness, no rashes, and normal muscle enzyme levels. While she has been treated with low dose methylprednisolone and subcutaneous methotrexate, muscle strength and muscle enzymes remained in normal levels at 12 months follow-up. Our knowledge about the co-occurrence of immunodeficiency and autoimmunity emerge that patients diagnosed with autoimmunity should have investigations for immunodeficiency or vice versa.
Juvenil dermatomiyozit nedeni tam olarak bilinmeyen, birçok sistemi etkileyebilen otoimmün bir hastalıktır. Doğuştan ve kazanılmış immünitenin hastalık patogenezinde rolü bulunmaktadır. Selektif immünglobulin A eksikliği en sık görülen primer immün yetmezliktir. İmmünglobulin A eksikliği ile otoimmün hastalıkların birlikteliği daha önce birkaç juvenil dermatomiyozit tanılı olguda bildirilmiştir. Öncesinde sağlıklı olan 15 yaşında kız hasta Bohan ve Peter kriterlerine göre juvenil dermatomiyozit ve serum immunglobulin A değeri <6 mg/dl saptandığı için selektif immünglobulin A tanısı aldı. Üç ay immünsupresif tedavi aldıktan sonra fizik muayenede raş saptanmadı, kas gücü normaldi, ayrıca kas enzimleri normal düzeylerdeydi. Düşük doz metilprednizolon ve subkutan metotreksat tedavileri alan hastanın kas gücü muayenesi ve kas enzimleri 12 aylık izlem sonrasında halen normal sınırlarda seyretmiştir. İmmün yetmezlik ve otoimmün hastalık birlikteliği hakkındaki bilgilerimiz, otoimmün hastalık veya immün yetmezlik tanılı hastaların yine bu hastalıklar açısından incelenmesini gerekli kılmaktadır.
