Youth, as a stage of a person's life path, is the most intense period in terms of age transitions. Despite the presence of many transitions, most researchers identify several basic age transitions. ...The current stage of development of society is characterized by the complication, lengthening, increasing variability and risks of liminality (incompleteness) of age transitions. The time characteristics of their commission are changing. The temporal component of the features of secondary socialization remains poorly understood, which increases the risks of inefficiency of youth support and assistance programs. In this article, based on the conducted research, the temporal specificity of age transitions of modern youth is analyzed. The study was conducted on a sample of 484 people aged 18 to 40 years. Multistage selection.the time characteristics of their commission. The questionnaire method. The results obtained allow us to conclude that there is a general "delay" in leaving childhood. The duration of the period of youth itself is highly likely to stretch over the entire period of maturity. The risks of liminality of basic transitions to maturity have been identified. In the opinion of young respondents about the optimal time for making specific transitions, both the reproduction of previously formed norms remains (the connection of sexual debut with adulthood, entry into the labor market with financial independence), and the consolidation of established practices is planned (the temporary gap between sexual debut and marriage, the formation of one's own family and the birth of a child).
The problems of new media in the mass communication system are becoming more and more urgent today due to the fact that the established discourse about the media and the familiar language of their ...description no longer cope with their functions. The emergence of new media is a consequence of widespread digitalization. The significance of the research in the raised issues lies in the fact that the characteristics of new media are considered in detail, terms that were not previously correlated with the theory of communication are given. It is emphasized that today the philosophical and cultural foundations of the phenomenon of new media are insufficiently reflected, although they are of great interest from the point of view of the key turning points of modern society. The article presents a literary review, an interpretation of the basic concepts is given, the theoretical and methodological base is clarified, the most striking characteristics of new media are highlighted and analyzed.
Seven basic characteristics of new media are considered, which not only give an idea of the specifics of the subject under study, but also represent its significant differences from the general concept of «media» in the culture of mass communications. Taking into account the attempt to deepen the understanding of the subject of the study, it is summarized that new media constantly and daily limit and redefine the identity and common features of digital communities, as well as user relationships within them, which in turn changes social and cultural interactions.
The author emphasizes that if researchers use the term new media only as well-established and intuitive, without seeing the need to describe its characteristics, then there is a danger of reducing the research search to a superficial perception of changes in the culture of mass communications, while missing important empirical information. The results obtained contribute to the development of the theory of culture of mass communication and have scientific and practical significance for the ideological, educational and cultural spheres of society.
The developed portable explosive-reactive complex for drilling-and-blasting operations in complex mining-geological conditions is considered. The basic design features of the complex are given. The ...main principles of ensuring the effectiveness of explosive-reactive drilling are formulated. The conditions for the appearance of the effect of the dynamic pressure on the rock of the complex ensuring its recoiling work are considered in detail.
Chief pilot Alexander Yudov said that the crew of his plane undertook transportation of civil cargoes only - predominantly foodstuffs. The crew was performing a flight over a territory controlled by ...UNITA when at 7:30 AM on June 30,1999 the plane suddenly jerked and caught fire. With great difficulty the crew managed to land the plane and get out. "Several minutes later tins of canned food left in the burning plane started bursting because of a strong heat, producing a loud noise which was taken for gunfire by people who approached the burning plane from a nearby village," Yudin said.
LUSAKA, June 1 (Itar-Tass) - Five Russian pilots set free by Angola's UNITA rebels after 12 months in captivity left Zambia for Russia at 20:05 Moscow time on Thursday on board of a plane sent by the ...Russian Emergencies Ministry.
LUSAKA, May 31 (Itar-Tass) - The five Russian pilots released by their UNITA captors in Angola, have said they have no information about the fate of their 13 colleagues whose planes have disappeared ...over the Angolan...
The development of prefabricated residential buildings construction is regarded. Organizational and technological features of building construction are disclosed. An approach to determine the period ...of the construction of buildings, taking into account serviceability is given. This serviceability is expressed in terms of the consolidation of prefabricated elements, using the example of the standard series of residential buildings (KOPE, I-155). The calculation formulas for determining the period of construction of substructure and superstructure are specified. The period depends on the average daily number of erected prefabricated parts. The resultant dependence between the period of the erection of prefabricated elements and the number of erected storeys is substantiated. The proposed optimization methods will reduce energy costs and make the construction process less energy intensive.
Background. Autovein is considered as the best prosthesis in the infrainguinal bypass surgery. However, in 30 % of individuals great saphenous vein is inappropriate for grafting because it is too ...small or due to phlebitis, varicosity and prior surgery. From this point of view, decellularized vascular grafts, which retain most of the properties of living tissues, seem quite interesting. Due to the high frequency of development of prosthetic aneurysm in the postoperative period xenografts does not gain high popularity. This complication occurs in an average of 6 % of cases, but modern technological advances in manufacture of xenografts have reduced the percentage of aneurysms to 4.1 %, which is still high. To solve this problem, we decided to use external support of nitinol mesh. Aim: assessment of efficiency of bioprosthesis with external support by knitted nitinol mesh as a conduit in infrainguinal bypass surgery. Materials and methods. It was a single-center randomized controlled trial in two groups, 36 patients in each group. There were no statistically significant differences between the groups. Patients of the control group underwent a standard femoropopliteal bypass surgery. In experimental group we used bioprosthesis with external support by knitted nitinol mesh. Results. Aneurysms development was observed in 6 patients (16.67 %) of the control group (4 patients - anastomotic aneurysms; 2 patients - true shunt aneurysms). There were no aneurysms in the experimental group (p < 0.05). Conclusion. The use of a nitinol-based mesh effectively prevents the development of an aneurysm of the xenograft in the postoperative period.
