Revolution industry 4.0 expects universities to endow graduates with 21st-century skills performance at the workplace. The 21-century skills are categorized into Soft Skills, Hard Skills, and ...Competitiveness (SHC). These skills enable to the promotion of faster institutional enterprise and industrial growth as well as advancement in the economic sector. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to investigate how graduates' SHC performance skills contribute to productivity in the workplace in Indonesia. The survey questionnaire was used to collect data from government institutions and enterprises, including industries. The questionnaires were categorized into three, including Non-state-enterprises, State-Owned enterprises, and government institutions, though out of 500 only 162 were returned. The results showed that graduates’ performance of soft skills, hard skills, competitiveness, and overall SHC were at a medium level. An inferential analysis found that the social science group exhibited better soft skills, competitiveness, and overall SHC performance than the pure science group with no difference in hard skills performance. Graduates from the none-state-enterprises and state-owned enterprises group showed better SHC performance than those working directly for the government. Moreover, none-state-enterprises had a higher SHC performance than graduates from state-owned enterprises. However, there was no correlation between soft graduate skills, competitiveness, and overall SHC performance and graduates’ CGPA. There was a relatively smaller correlation between hard skills performance and graduates’ CGPA. Therefore, university graduates are ill-prepared to meet the SHC performance needed at the workplace. The current Higher education curriculum, though built to emphasize SHC for a decade, did not achieve its purpose to produce quality graduates due to poor implementation.
Argumentation skills have been minimally fostered in the worldwide science classrooms that brings students' low ability to make scientific arguments. This study had compared the effect of the ...strategies of jigsaw, two-stay-two-stray (TSTS), and discovery-learning (DL) in promoting Indonesian secondary school student's argumentation skills in the concept of chemistry reaction-rate. Data were collected using open-ended tests and video observations. The results of quantitative analysis show that jigsaw and TSTS were more effective than DL in enabling the students to produce high quality arguments. The results of observation data analysis show that distinctive learning experiences the students had in the form of chance to conduct diverse types of discussion under reasonable time allocation caused the differences of effect between the strategies. This finding suggests that implementing an argument-driven learning strategy that provides students with fruitful opportunities to perform intense debates is highly recommended to promote students' skills in scientific argumentation.
Media pembelajaran adalah suatu alat yang digunakan dan berfungsi untuk menyampaikan pesan-pesan pembelajaran. Media pembelajaran merupakan salah satu upaya pengadaan media pembelajaran yang ...inovatif dan efektif. Sehingga pada akhirnya diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan dan menjadikan pembelajaran lebih menarik. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan media apa saja yang digunakan dalam pembelajaran matematika di tingkat sekolah dasar pada masa pandemi covid-19 serta mendeskripsikan pemanfaatan media dalam pembelajaran matematika di tingkat sekolah dasar selama masa pandemi covid-19. Penelitian ini menggunakan sistematika literature review. Peneliti menggunakan model PRISMA yaitu; Identifikasi, Penyaringan, Kelayakan, dan Inklusi untuk pengumpulan data. Data dianalisis melalui metode naratif dengan mengelompokkan hasil yang ditemukan dan yang sejenis. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa ada 8 media yang digunakan dalam pembelajaran matematika tingkat SD pada masa pandemi covid-19, yaitu; whatsapp, video belajar, Zoom, Google Classroom, Youtube, Google form, android, quizizz, cisco webex, pear deck dan jamboard. Guru menggunakan media; Sebagai platform berbagi, Sebagai aktivitas pembelajaran yang sinkron, Sebagai aktivitas pembelajaran yang tidak sinkron, Sebagai alat penilaian, dan sebagai platform diskusi.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengimplementasian pembelajaran daring dimasa pandemi covid-19 di SD Negeri 119/IV Kota Jambi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif(studi ...kasus). Dalam penelitian ini melibatkan 3 orang wali kelas IV sebagai partisipan penelitian. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara dan analisis dokumen RPP. Dari hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi pembelajaran daring di kelas IV yaitu menggunakan berbagai aplikasi seperti Whatsapp, Zoom, dan Google Classrom, menggunakan RPP 1 lembar. Adapun kendala yang yang dihadapi selama pembelajaran daring yaitu terkendala jaringan internet, kuota, peserta didik tidak mempunyai gawai pribadi, kurangnya pemahamaan guru, peserta didik dan orang tua terhadap aplikasi pembelajaran dengan memanfaatkan beberapa macam aplikasi, serta belum adanya upaya guru melaksanakan pembelajaran door to door atau home visit ke rumah peserta didik yang mengalami kendala saat pembelajaran daring. Kendala lainnya yaitu kurangnya efektifitas dan efisiensi waktu, minimnya antusias siswa dan minimnya siswa akan pemahaman materi. Adapun solusi yang dilakukan oleh guru yaitu berupaya menciptakan pembelajaran yang menarik dengan menggunakan video pembelajaran sekaligus berkolaborasi bersama orangtua selama pembelajaran dilaksanakan pembelajaran daring.
A coordinated adaptive traffic system (CATS) is being intended for controlling traffic flows in certain area by coordinating traffic signals among intersection's traffic controllers. Although ...intersections take only a relatively small part of the entire road system, the traffic control systems in intersections, is one of the most important problems to be solved with regard to the implementation of Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS). This paper presents our feasiblity study of the using Vehicular ad-hoc network (VANET) for implementing CATS in the absence of communication infrastructure or in intermittent. For this we examined three different routing protocols for implementing such an infrastructure-less CATS. The results show that all the three examined protocols are feasible to be used to implement the VANET-based CATS. However, it shows that the Epidemic is superiors than the other protocols with regard to the delivery probability when the number of vehicles is only a few. When the number of vehicles is increasing then the Spray and Wait protocol give the best delivery probability of messages for delivering the coordination packets among intersections.
Scheduled public transports serve as relay nodes that disseminate information from city to village and gather information from village to city. This paper compares the Delay-Tolerant Networks (DTNs) ...routing protocols to solve the problem of disseminating and gathering information using scheduled public transports that serve as relay nodes. Scenarios were based on a local map with a real environment. The parameters were two scheduled public transports, i.e. buses and trains, with speeds of 0.92 and 2.30 meter/second, 50 meters of transmit range, 10 Mega Bytes buffer size, and some information sizes by the number of differences. The simulation showed that Epidemic, MaxProp, and Spray and Wait (source) routing protocols get more than 87% average of delivery probability and more than 2.6 hours average of latency average.
