-lysine, which involves the spontaneous process of preferential formation of the Cu core followed by self-assembly growth of Ni satellites. The selection of the Cu core is beneficial for enhancing the charge transfer and tuning the electronic structure of Ni satellites, as well as serving as a self-skeleton to enhance the structural stability for catalysis. Meanwhile, the tiny Ni satellites could be fully exposed, which not only produce a larger number of valid active sites, but also provide a short electron and ion transport distance. As a result, the Cu@Ni CS-NAs are qualified as superior and durable electrocatalysts for the MOR, affording 29.6 mA cm

Broad-spectrum histone deacetylase inhibitors (HDACi) have excellent anti-tumor effects, such as abexinostat, which was a novel oral HDACi that was widely used in clinical treatment. The purpose of ...this study was to establish a rapid and reliable method for the detection of abexinostat concentrations in rat plasma using ultra-performance liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry (UPLC-MS/MS). The mobile phase we used was acetonitrile and 0.1% formic acid, and the internal standard (IS) was givinostat. Selective reaction monitoring (SRM) was used for detection with ion transitions at
m/z
397.93 → 200.19 for abexinostat and
m/z
422.01 → 186.11 for givinostat, respectively. The intra-day and inter-day precision of abexinostat were less than 11.5% and the intra-day and inter-day accuracy ranged from − 10.7% to 9.7% using this method. During the analysis process, the stability of the test sample was reliable. In addition, the recovery and matrix effects of this method were within acceptable limits. Finally, the method presented in this paper enabled accurate and quick determination of abexinostat levels in rat plasma from the pharmacokinetic study following gavage at a dose of 8.0 mg/kg abexinostat.
Idle land represents a major challenge to sustainable land management and the effective utilization of land resources. Achieving a comprehensive understanding of idle land is crucial to reduce land ...waste and promoting sustainable socio-economic development. While previous research has mainly focused on the concepts and governance of idle land, limited attention has been paid to its local environmental characteristics (LECs), this study aims to research idle land in Liuyang City to better understand its spatial distribution pattern and association with LESc for sustainable land use practices. The research employs various techniques, including testing the validity of Zipf’s law in relation to idle land, using spatial autocorrelation methods to determine its spatial distribution at the town/subdistrict level, and employing spatial-semantic clustering to identify spatio-LEC patterns of idle land. The results show that the areal distribution of idle land at the town/subdistrict level is close to the ideal state. Additionally, the study identifies non-randomness in the spatial patterns of idle land and observes links among different types of idle land with varying uses.
With innovations in sequencing technology and the progress of high-performance computing systems, it is now relatively straightforward to sequence and assemble complex genomes. Many genomes from ...multiple cotton species have been released in recent years, with the highly homozygous standard genetic lines of two cultivated allotetraploid cottons, i.e., Gossypium hirsutum TM-1 and G. barbadense 3–79, assembled multiple times by different research groups using diverse sequencing technologies. The assembly quality among these genomes is variable, even between multiple accessions or versions of the same species, which can generate both confusion in choosing the appropriate genome for genetic analysis and obstacles when comparing results among the different reference genomes. Accordingly, an assessment of the many cotton genome sequences is necessary to facilitate both choice of genome sequence and comparisons between different versions or species. Here we comprehensively assess and compare genome assembly accuracy, completeness, and contiguity for nine G. hirsutum assemblies and four G. barbadense assemblies using multiple analysis strategies with the same criteria. We identify centromeric regions and several large-scale inversions among genomes from the same accession, indicating structural errors introduced during sequence ordering and orientation in G. hirsutum and G. barbadense genome assembly. Gene relationships between annotations from multiple genomes are defined within and across species, and the results are available at the Cotton Paralogs Groups Search website (https://ihope.shinyapps.io/cottonParalogs/), a convenient resource for converting gene ids and comparing annotations between different genome versions. This study comprehensively assesses and compares assembly quality among multiple versions of the two cultivated tetraploid cotton species with different assembly strategies, illustrating the challenges of sequencing and assembling complex genomes and providing a resource for cotton genomics.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the association of the triglyceride glucose (TyG) index, a surrogate marker of insulin resistance (IR) with a high sensitivity of 96.5% and a specificity ...of 85.0% for the diagnosis of IR, with computed tomography (CT) features in patients with tuberculosis and diabetes mellitus.
A total of 247 subjects were enrolled from July, 2020 to May, 2021. The basic clinical features and CT features were analyzed. In addition, multivariate logistic regression analysis models were employed to evaluate the association of the TyG indicator with CT features in participants.
In the quartile groups of TyG index, air bronchial sign detection rate was 11.7%, 14.5%, 23.2%, and 44.1%; large segmented leafy shadow detection rate was 27.9%, 40.6%, 46.4%, and 66.2%; thick-walled cavity was found in 38.2%, 43.4%, 57.9%, and 69.1%; the rate of multiple cavities was 17.6%, 27.5%, 36.2%, 52.9%; the rate of lymph node enlargement was 22.1%, 17.4%, 28.9%, and 38.2%, respectively. In addition, the positive relation with the TyG index and the prevalence of abnormal CT signs was observed in the fully adjusted model: TyG, per one-unit increase: air bronchial sign: adjusted odds ratio (AOR) 3.92, 95% CI 1-15.35, P = 0.049; multiple cavities: AOR 4.1, 95% CI 1.26-13.31, P = 0.019; thick-walled cavity: AOR 2.89, 95% CI 1.05-8.03, P = 0.041. In quartile of TyG index, compared with patients in quartile 1, the AOR (95% CI) values for air bronchial sign in quartile 4 was 8.1 (1.7-44), p = 0.011; multiple cavities was 7.1 (1.7-32), p = 0.008; thick-walled cavity was 7.8 (1.9-34.7), p = 0.005.
The present study showed that an increased TyG index was positively related to the severity of patients with T2DM-PTB.
