Bibliometric analysis of the articles published by pediatricians (54) and pediatric residents (12), employees of Children’s Hospital Zagreb for the period from 2010 to 2019 (total of 10 ...years).Research was performed during the first week of February 2020, by the name of each medical doctor, with additional criterion of authors’ address – meaning of institutional affiliation. Source for analysis of publicistic productivity and of citation was eight citation indexes WOSCC. The sample consisted of 348 articles, that were analyzed according to productivity markers (authors, article type, language, year of publication, journal, journal quartile for year of publication, WOS category) and citation.The number of papers per author ranged from 0 to 109. Most publications were categorized as articles (279); there were a total of 39 review articles. In English were published 322 (92.5%) papers, and 25 (7.2%) in Croatian language. Mostly papers were published in 2018 (59); 40 papers were published in 2019 (at the time of the research process of indexing of all papers published in 2019 was unfinished). The greatest number of articles (54; 15.51%) was published in Journal of Pediatric Gastroenterology and Nutrition, then in Paediatria Croatica (28; 8.04%), and in Clinical Nutrition (20; 5.74%). According to WOS scientific fields of the journal, most of the articles were from Pediatrics (146), Gastroenterology Hepatology (88), and Nutrition Dietetics (86).Article impact was measured by citation index, which is directly related with article type and journal ranking. Clinical guidelines, reviews and randomized clinical studies were among the most cited papers. Papers of group of authors of European associations confirmed the extensive involvement in the development of international clinical guidelines, systematic reviews and review articles.Articles were cited in total 6.798 times (without autocitation 6.540 times). Citation analysis has confirmed that 271 (77.87%) articles were cited. The most cited article has 608 citations, mean citation being 19.53 per article.Analysis confirmed significant contribution to professional and scientific community, as well as the extensive involvement in the development of international expert recommendations.
