En forma acelerada, los Sistemas de Información Geográfica (SIG) se han convertido en herramientas indispensables para la gestión del territorio. En ese contexto, este material es una invitación a ...avanzar con soluciones concretas de manera inmediata, para complejizar y profundizar los contenidos en el futuro dentro del gran abanico de posibilidades que brindan los SIG en todos sus alcances.Este texto con formato de manual o guía escrita es el resultado de las adaptaciones al contexto pandémico, que impuso la necesidad de aportar distintas formas de enseñanza/aprendizaje y nuevos materiales de apoyo a ellas. Está orientado a usuarios con mínimos o nulos conocimientos previos sobre cartografía y SIG, pero cuya actividad está vinculada al catastro, la planificación, administración y/o gestión del territorio en todos los niveles del Estado e incluso a actores del sector privado relacionados con la producción del espacio urbano. Está organizado en tres capítulos que abordan la temática desde los aspectos conceptuales y técnicos más elementales sobre cartografía y SIG, ganando profundidad conforme se avanza en la lectura, sin perder de vista a quiénes está destinada la obra. Cada capítulo es acompañado de un apartado de ejercitación con el software QGIS en tres niveles de dificultad o complejidad, en concordancia con los capítulos teóricos. En cada caso práctico se ofrecen conjuntos de datos creados ad hoc que pueden descargarse libremente para realizar los ejercicios propuestos.
Comment cartographiait-on les parcellaires ruraux avant la généralisation des cadastres géométriques d’État ? Si certaines représentations datant du XVe au XVIIIe siècle relèvent indéniablement d’une ...approche scientifique, la plus grande part se rattache à une époque où les cartes n’ont pas le degré d’abstraction qui triomphera ensuite. Utilisant le langage des artistes peintres, elles servent à montrer et à expliquer. Et elles n’en sont que plus significatives. Trois questions sous-tendent l’analyse de nombreux corpus spécifiques au sein de l’Europe moderne : celle de la genèse de ces cartes (contexte de leur création, commanditaires, réalisateurs, utilisateurs) ; celle de leur transmission et de leur classement par les archivistes ; celle enfin de leurs exploitations par les chercheurs, avec ce que permettent aujourd’hui les méthodes des disciplines historiques, géographiques et archéologiques. Plus d’une centaine de cartes en couleur ont été reproduites à l’appui de cette étude.

Durante el ...siglo XIX, fueron varias las tentativas que realizó la Cámara Municipal (Câmara Municipal) para proteger el monumento de la degradación del paso del tiempo y se procedió a intervenir en el espacio circundante, posibilitando su disfrute por parte de la población.
En el ámbito de las celebraciones que conmemoran el Centenario de la Fundación y la Restauración de Portugal (1940), el Estado portugués se comprometió a recuperar el conjunto monumental. Este proyecto supuso la expropiación y demolición de los edificios de una serie de calles, de las que hoy no existe memoria.
Partiendo de la complementariedad de la cartografía anterior a la demolición con fuentes geohistóricas e históricas seriadas, como los registros fiscales de propiedad y las listas de habitantes, procuramos recuperar la imagen de un espacio de la ciudad de Guimarães, que, en el inicio del siglo XX, fue objeto de una profunda transformación urbanística.
This volume presents the first results of the authors' research work on the community of Florence in the Catasto Generale Toscano. Activated in 1834, the Catasto Generale Toscano records real estate ...based, for the first time in the history of the Grand Duchy, on the topographical survey of the entire territory of the State and the description and valuation of all stable property. The cadastre is thus the ideal source for reconstructing the urban situation of Florence in the Restoration era, represented here by means of a series of cartographic elaborations and a database in geometric, functional, typological and proprietary terms. An additional cartographic series highlights the persistences and variations of the present city compared to the nineteenth-century one. This paper analyzes social choice with respect to the demarcation of land boundaries, distinguishing between physical and legal demarcation. In contrast with the influential “land administration” ...literature and the World Bank’s policy guidelines, the analysis supports voluntary—instead of mandatory—demarcation as well as non-integrated services for land administration. Consistent with these theoretical arguments, the paper empirically verifies that demarcation conflicts play a lesser role in title-, land- and property-related litigation, which seems to increase in all these areas after physical demarcation is made mandatory. Relying on World Bank data, it also observes that linking and merging cadastres and land registries does not correlate with lower transaction costs.
El objetivo de esta investigación ha sido el desarrollo de un sistema software basado principalmente en bases de datos relacionales, que permita el registro y análisis de catastros históricos.
En ...cuanto a requisitos funcionales, la base de datos debía ser lo suficientemente robusta como para soportar el almacenamiento simultáneo de catastros de diferentes poblaciones y épocas. La versión inicial del sistema debía aportar una funcionalidad completa y, al mismo tiempo, debía servir como núcleo sobre el que se pudieran desarrollar versiones más avanzadas en el futuro.
Por otro lado, los requisitos técnicos establecidos para el software también fueron exigentes. El sistema debía ser capaz de funcionar en un ordenador personal. Esto no debería impedir la escalabilidad del software, de modo que también pudiera ser instalado en servidores más potentes de una universidad o centro de investigación o, incluso, publicarse en Internet. El sistema se debería construir sobre tecnologías maduras, de amplio uso, como bases de datos relacionales y hojas de cálculo, para evitar problemas de pronta obsolescencia tecnológica. En la medida de lo posible se deberían seleccionar herramientas gratuitas para evitar costes de licencias.
Estos objetivos han sido alcanzados con el desarrollo de un sistema al que hemos denominado Ensenator y que ha sido validado con la carga del catastro de Ensenada de Arenas de San Juan (Ciudad Real) de 1752 y del catastro de Martín de Garay de El Escorial (Madrid) de 1818. As land becomes increasingly expensive in Australia fewer people can afford it, with consequences for wealth distribution and housing. Real estate, in particular the family home, has formed a ...foundation for Australians' wealth over many decades, but the possibility of home ownership has been deteriorating in recent years. Alternative proposals for property investment include issuing fractions of land title on blockchain with parallel registration in the land registry. While such proposals are technically feasible, they are silent as to the means of integrating the blockchain ledger with the land administration system. As the land administration system comprises multiple statutory processes, this article uses the Queensland system as a case study, to analyse the relevant statutes in terms of the integration of a fractionalised blockchain titles system. The aim is to identify the law reform necessary to achieve a high level of integration of fractionalised land titles on a blockchain, within an existing land administration system - without detracting from the policy goals of that system.

La parcelle en ville est un objet historique qui s’inscrit dans le temps long sous diverses appellations. À la fois projection au sol d’un rapport de propriété légal ou coutumier et « petite partie ...d’un tout » à des fins d’exploitation et d’investissement, elle est propice aux approches pluridisciplinaires. Son étude renvoie en effet à la question cruciale du changement urbain, mais aussi aux idéologies politiques et modernistes à l’encontre du droit de propriété qui ont pu entraîner sa remise en cause au xxe siècle, comme en URSS et dans les États socialistes ou dans les ensembles d’habitat collectif de l’entre-deux-guerres et des Trente Glorieuses. À rebours, elle constitue un enjeu prégnant dans les projets urbains contemporains, sans que d’ailleurs les discours développés à son sujet ne fassent toujours l’objet de questionnements approfondis. Cet ouvrage se propose de reconstituer l’histoire longue de la parcelle car elle est susceptible de rendre compte, à bien des égards, des transformations contemporaines.
