Razpad vrednotnega sistema sodobne družbe zahteva spremembe v vzgojno-izobraževalnem sistemu, kjer vzgoja prevzema pomembno vlogo s prizadevanjem za celostno vzgojo. Pri posamezniku razvija vse ...človekove potenciale: telesne, čustvene, kognitivne in duhovne. Glasbena vzgoja s svojim terapevtskim poslanstvom pomaga pri oblikovanju harmonične osebnosti in postane mediator pri različnih dejavnostih, kjer nesoglasja ne dovoljujejo uspešnega izvajanja vzgojno-izobraževalnega procesa. Na osnovi empirične raziskave, ki smo jo izvedli z namenom preverjanja učinkov Bachovih cvetnih plesov pri sedem- in osemletnih osnovnošolcih, smemo zaključiti, da ima izvajanje Bachovih cvetnih plesov pozitivne učinke tako z vidika posameznih pozitivnih čustvenih stanj kot razvoja pozitivnega čustvenega stanja v celoti. Je torej pomemben dejavnik osebnostnega razvoja učencev, zato jim povsem upravičeno pripada mesto v našem šolskem prostoru.
