The purpose of this study is to outline the nature of empirical base on transformational leadership in Turkey. The present study included a total of 109 graduate theses conducted on school ...principals’ transformational leadership behaviors between 2000 and 2019 and released in the Council of Higher Education’s (CoHE) database. Results revealed that an important body of research investigated the relationship between transformational leadership and job satisfaction and organizational commitment. Authors’ suggestions to policymakers and practitioners were often about enabling further in-service training activities and providing school principals with various opportunities to study for a master's degree. Suggestions from quantitative studies echoed the need for conducting relevant studies on different samples and expanding qualitative studies to inquiry into transformational leadership. Results, therefore, mirrored the fact that the empirical base on transformational leadership is lacking in terms of mediator and moderator effects of various variables along with the antecedents and results of transformational leadership.

This research aims to analyze mixed methods graduate thesis studies completed between 2010 and 2020 in special education programs in Turkey. The literature scan has yielded 26 studies. A qualitative ...research method, analytical research design has been employed in this study. Research data has been obtained from documents – namely the graduate thesis studies – and analyzed through content analysis carried out following fundamental stages of mixed methods research as proposed in the literature. These stages served as themes in this study: 'Determining the research aim and research questions', 'Selecting a mixed methods research design', 'Explaining the rationale for the mixed methods approach', 'Sampling', 'Collecting the data', 'Analysing the data', 'Integrating, interpreting and reporting the data', 'Researcher competencies and roles' and 'Ethics'. The limitations observed in the methodology and reporting of the thesis studies have suggested that the quality standards of mixed methods research are not reflected on the studies. These limitations include confusion in terminology, lack of explanation as to why the method and the design have been employed, restricted validity and reliability, and lack of integration through blending quantitative and qualitative data. In summary, despite the increase in the number of mixed methods research studies in special education has contributed to the field, it is still debatable whether the philosophical perspective behind the method and its strong suits can be reflected on the studies.
İnsanların çevreye verdiği zararlar nedeniyle ortaya çıkan felaketler, her geçen gün çevrenin önemini daha da çok arttırmaktadır. Özellikle 2021 yılının ilk 6 ayında Marmara Denizi’nde oluşan ...müsilaj, yaz aylarında farklı bölgelerde ortaya çıkan orman yangınları ve tüm dünyayı etkisi altına alan Covid-19 salgını çevreyi korumak adına daha çok önlem alınması gerektiğinin göstergeleri olarak kabul edilebilir. Çevre adına alınacak her bir önlemin bir maliyet unsuru oluşturması çevre muhasebesi konusunun da güncel konular içerisinde yer almasını sağlamıştır. İlerleyen zaman dilimi içerisinde de çevreye yapılan yatırımlar artacak ve sürdürülebilirliği için daha çok çaba sarf edilecektir. Bu nedenle “çevre muhasebesi” konusunun her zaman geçerli olacağı düşünülmektedir. Bu çalışmada da çevre muhasebesi konusunda yeni çalışma yapmak isteyen araştırmacılar için içerik analizi gerçekleştirilmiştir. Yüksek Öğretim Kurumu ulusal tez merkezinde erişime açık olan lisansüstü tezler içerisinde “çevre muhasebesi ve yeşil muhasebe” konularında yapılan çalışmalar analize dahil edilmiştir. 1995-2021 yılları arasında 13 doktora 44 yüksek lisans tezine ulaşılmıştır. Elde edilen bulgular tablolar halinde sunulmuştur.
ABSTRACT
The disasters that occur due to the damage caused by humans to the environment increase the importance of the environment day by day. It can be considered as an indication that more measures should be taken to protect the environment, especially, mucilage formed in the Sea of Marmara in the first 6 months of 2021, forest fires in different regions in the summer months and the Covid-19 which affected the whole world. The fact that each measure to be taken on behalf of the environment constitutes a cost element has ensured that the issue of environmental accounting is also among the current issues. In the future, investments made in the environment will increase and more efforts will be made for its sustainability. Therefore, it is thought that the subject of "environmental accounting" will always be valid. In this study, content analysis was carried out for researchers who want to make new studies on environmental accounting. Studies on "environmental accounting and green accounting" among graduate theses that are accessible in the national thesis center of the Higher Education Institution are included in the analysis. 13doctorate and 44 master's theses were reached between 1995 and 2021. The obtained results are presented in tables.
