Kasus COVID-19 yang tinggi mendorong munculnya media berbagi di tengah pandemi. Salah satunya adalah akun Instagram @sekolahlrelawan. Kemampuan memproduksi pesan dan fakta membuat konten akun ...Instagram @sekolahrelawan mudah diterima dan disukai khalayak luas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana isi pesan berbagi yang terdapat pada akun Instagram @sekolahrelawan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis isi kualitatif dengan unit analisis berupa postingan berbagi pada akun @sekolahrelawan. Hasil analisis menunjukkan pesan berbagi pada akun @sekolahrelawan direpresentasikan melalui caption dan gambar yang digunakan dan didukung oleh program kreatif berbagi. Program berbagi sekolah relawan, mulai dari berbagi semangat dan makanan kepada tim medis, berbagi makanan sahur saat Ramadan, berbagi hewan kurban saat Iduladha, membuka warung rakyat dengan ratusan porsi makanan untuk masyarakat terdampak covid-19, serta pembangunan sekolah, dan pemberian smartphone untuk anak-anak yang kesulitan bersekolah online. Selain memaparkan program relawan, postingan @sekolahrelawan dari Maret hingga September 2020 juga memberikan pesan bahwa berbagi dengan sesama di masa pandemi tetap bisa dilakukan dengan berbagai cara.
Este artigo investiga o processo de produção de imagens para a rede social Instagram, considerando e comparando os modos de compartilhamento nas áreas denominadas “galeria” e "Stories". Interessa-nos ...entender as principais diferenças nos conteúdos produzidos e nos métodos utilizados pelos usuários. O argumento principal é que, com as novas redes sociais especializadas, a prática da fotografia é marcada pela efemeridade da imagem (fluxo em feeds e áreas de armazenamento temporário). Mais ainda, essas fotografias não primam pela qualidade técnica da imagem, sendo mais importantes enquanto vetor de socialização. Para dar suporte a essa pesquisa, foi realizada uma enquete com 173 usuários.
Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menghasilkan model perilaku konsumen dalam pemilihan online shop Instagram. Populasi dan sampel penelitian ini adalah Mahasiswa Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis ...Universitas Swasta di Kota Medan yang sudah pernah melakukan pembelian pada online shop Instagram minimal 1 (satu) kali. Jenis data yang digunakan adalah data primer. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu daftar pertanyaan (Questionaire) dan wawancara (Interview). Analisis data dengan menggunakan model SEM (Structural Equation Modelling) dibantu dengan program Lisrel 8.80. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterlibatan produk (product involvement) berpengaruh positif terhadap persepsi resiko (perceived risk) pada online shop Instagram. Persepsi resiko (perceived risk) berpengaruh positif terhadap kepuasan konsumen (customer satisfaction) pada online shop Instagram. Persepsi resiko (Perceived Risk) berpengaruh positif terhadap kepercayaan konsumen (customer trust) pada online shop Instagram. Kepercayaan konsumen (customer trust) berpengaruh positif terhadap niat beli (Purchase Intention) pada online shop Instagram. Open communication is one of the government's efforts to meet the demands of society in creating more transparent public information services. Instagram is one of the social media that allows the ...government and the public to interact through two-way communication, creating and sharing content in the form of words, images, audio or video, in real time. This study aims to identify the community's response to the communication of local leaders in informing government programs through Instagram. This study focuses on the Indonesian government's program on the issue of public education through the New Student Admission program. This study used an exploratory sequential mixed-method. The data was obtained from public comments via Instagram on posts submitted by the head of the West Java region. A total of 867 comments are analyzed in this study. Data processing techniques using text mining with sentiment analysis approach. The study found that the activeness of local leaders in using Instagram to inform government programs was very effective and able to attract participation from the community. The majority of comments showed negative sentiment towards government program information regarding the new student admission program which was conveyed through the West Java regional head's Instagram.

Materi perdagangan internasional menjadi materi dengan banyak istilah asing yang jarang didengar oleh peserta didik, sehingga peserta didik perlu daya ingat yang kuat. Untuk itu diperlukan ...pengembangan media yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan peserta didik. Penelitian pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana media microblog berbantuan media sosial Instagram dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik dalam pembelajaran ekonomi kelas XI MAN 2 Kediri. Penelitian R&D ini menggunakan model 4D dari Thiagarajan yaitu Define, Design, Develop, dan Disseminate. Uji coba dilakukan secara terbatas dengan subyek penelitian 25 peserta didik dengan menggunakan One Group Pre-test dan Post-test Design. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa daya ingat peserta didik dapat meningkat karena adanya pengulangan informasi materi pembelajaran ekonomi dari konten pada microblog @nomiclearn yang diunggah setiap harinya, sehingga informasi tersebut dapat masuk ke Long Term Memory. Ketika peserta didik memerlukan informasi tersebut, mereka dapat memanggil ingatan dan memproses informasi sebelumnya dengan mudah sehingga hasil belajar peserta didik mengalami peningkatan. Microblog berbantuan Instagram ini layak untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran ekonomi karena dapat membantu aktivitas belajar secara mandiri, belajar lebih menyenangkan, dan meningkatkan hasil belajar.
As a result of the rapid evolution of computer culture, social media and networking websites now provide the primary socialisation platforms for individuals across the world. With characteristics ...such as transcending time, space, and even cultures, these platforms impact individuals through increased interactions. Although past research shows how social media impacts on individuals’ cultural affiliations and identity construction processes, research neglects to understand the role and impact of the characteristics of social media and networking environments as individuals engage in these virtual spaces. This paper uses Instagram as a case study, to demonstrate the liminal nature of social media spaces and looks at how this virtual space and its characteristics evoke a sense of reflexivity with regards to identity construction amongst young British Sikhs in the U.K. We highlight how the empowering characteristics of this virtual space impact their identity and just how the communities that are formed by individuals through Instagram, act as a further acculturative agent, as they attempt to deal with the tensions that they experience as a result of being both British and Sikh. Findings implicate how brands can engage with and support the individuals going through this reflective identity re/construction process.

Humans are highly sensitive to ostracism experiences and thus, even very short occurrences of being excluded and ignored can threaten fundamental needs and lower mood. We investigated whether not ...being tagged causes similar negative responses as being excluded in real life. Using a multi-method approach, we show across five studies (total N = 1149) that not being tagged in a posted photo strongly threatens fundamental needs. This effect is moderated by individuals’ need to belong, such that individuals with a higher need to belong experience not being tagged as more aversive. Results replicate across vignette studies in which participants imagine not being tagged on Instagram (Studies 2 and 3) and across studies using an alleged group task paradigm that mimicked the psychological mechanism of not being tagged outside of Instagram (Studies 4a and 4b). All experimental studies were pre-registered and we freely share all materials, code and data. Extending ostracism effects to the social media phenomenon tagging, the present research bridges real-world and digital social interactions. The results add to theoretical knowledge on social media, ostracism, and digital well-being and have practical implications for social media app design, social media interventions and our everyday interactions that increasingly happen online.

The proliferation of novel work arrangements, accelerated by the COVID-19 pandemic, has led to the emergence of remote work trip experiences in which work is conducted within the context of leisure ...travel. Remote work trips challenge the dichotomous view of traditional work and leisure domains. Grounded in positive psychology, this exploratory research investigates remote work travel experiences as a new phenomenon under the leisure travel umbrella. Using a data analytics approach based on a topological analysis of 32,881 Instagram posts, the findings revealed 23 distinct elements of remote work trip experiences that potentially influence well-being. The results indicate that traveling may benefit well-being despite not taking any breaks from work. By investigating the emerging trend of remote work trips and by expanding the understanding of how integrated work-travel experiences can influence well-being, this study contributes to the body of literature on both travel and positive psychology alike.

Social media content can negatively influence body esteem in young women by reinforcing beliefs that to be considered attractive, people must look a certain way. The current study examines how text associated with attractive social media images impacts on female users' mood and feelings about their own body. Female participants (N = 109) aged between 18 and 25 years were randomly allocated to one of three conditions in which they viewed the same fitspiration-style images from Instagram. However, the captions associated with each image were experimentally manipulated to reflect either a fitspiration, body positive, or neutral theme. Images associated with fitspiration captions encouraging observers to improve their personal fitness led to increased negative mood. When body-positive captions encouraging the self-acceptance of appearance or highlighting the unrealistic nature of social media content were viewed with the same images, no increase in negative affect was observed, and participants reported greater body esteem post exposure. The findings provide partial support for the idea that body positive comments accompanying images on Instagram may have some protective value for female body esteem. Captions may play an important part in observers’ reactions to social media images, beyond the influence of the images alone.
