"Since the 131st Convention in New York, many things have taken place in the AES," says Jan Abildgaard Pedersen. "A large and detailed search for a new executive director for the AES resulted in the ...hiring of Bob Moses, who started his work on January 1st." During Pedersen's term, the program for the U.S. annual AES Convention has been broadened to encompass more of the audio community. "We are launching new 'Convention Tracks,' where we directiy address a selection of our target groups," he explains. "We have also launched a special app for iPhone and Android that also uses these convention tracks." Pedersen has assigned roles to each of the voting members of the AES executive committee. "This means they work more as a management team with specific areas of responsibility. I have been working with the executive committee and the board of governors to ensure the future of the AES under three headlines: 'Change, Transparency and Collaboration.'"
NORWEGIAN midfielder Jan Ove Pedersen is set to link up with former Pool boss Mick Tait at Sheffield United.
