In this paper, several relations are obtained among the Riemann zeta and Hurwitz zeta functions, as well as their products. A particular case of these relations give rise to a simple re-derivation of ...the important results of Katsurada and Matsumoto on the mean square of the Hurwitz zeta function. Also, a relation derived here provides the starting point of a novel approach which, in a series of companion papers, yields a formal proof of the Lindelöf hypothesis. Some of the above relations motivate the need for analysing the large α behaviour of the modified Hurwitz zeta function ζ 1 ( s , α ) , s ∈ C , α ∈ ( 0 , ∞ ) , which is also presented here.

We present some monotonicity results for a class of Dirichlet series generalizing previously known results. The fact that ζ′(s) is in that class presents a first example of an arithmetic function for ...which the associated Dirichlet series is completely monotonic, but not logarithmically completely monotonic. Lastly, we use similar techniques to prove another formulation of the Riemann hypothesis for the L‐function associated to the Ramanujan‐tau function.

For the generalized Fermi–Dirac integrals, Fk(η,β), of orders k=−1/2, 1/2, 3/2, and 5/2, we explicitly obtained the first 11 terms of their Sommerfeld expansions. The main terms of the last three ...orders are rewritten so as to avoid the cancelation problem. If η is not so small, say not less than 13.5, 12.0, 10.9, and 9.9 when k=−1/2, 1/2, 3/2, and 5/2, respectively, the first 8 terms of the expansion assure the single precision accuracy for arbitrary value of β. Similarly, the 15-digits accuracy is achieved by the 11 terms expansion if η is greater than 36.8, 31.6, 30.7, and 26.6 when k=−1/2, 1/2, 3/2, and 5/2, respectively. Since the truncated expansions are analytically given in a closed form, their computational time is sufficiently small, say at most 4.9 and 6.7 times that of the integrand evaluation for the 8- and 11-terms expansions, respectively. When η is larger than a certain threshold value as indicated, these appropriately-truncated Sommerfeld expansions provide a factor of 10–80 acceleration of the computation of the generalized Fermi–Dirac integrals when compared with the direct numerical quadrature.
Analogs are obtained of the asymptotic Riemann-Siegel formulas for the first and second order derivatives of the Hardy function Z(t) and the Riemann zeta function on the critical line.
В работе продолжено рассмотрение нового класса рядово Дирихле --- дзета-функции моноидов натуральных чисел. Основной задачей, решаемой в данной статье, является построение моноида натуральных чисел, ...для которого дзета-функция этого моноида имеет заданную абсциссу абсолютной сходимости.
Ранее автор решил аналогичную задачу построения множества натуральных чисел, для которого соответствующая дзета-функция имеет заданную абсциссу абсолютной сходимости.
Для решения задачи для дзета-функции моноида натуральных чисел возникают определенные трудности, связанные с необходимостью построения последовательности простых чисел, удовлетворяющих определенным требованиям на рост членов.
Было введено понятие $\sigma$"=последовательности $\mathbb{P}_\sigma$ простых чисел, члены которой удовлетворяют неравенству $n^\sigma\le p_n<(n+1)^\sigma.$
С помощью теоремы Ингама с кубическим ростом простых чисел удалось построить $\sigma$"=последовательность простых чисел для любого $\sigma\ge3$. Для соответствующей дзета-функции моноида, порожденного данной $\sigma$"=последовательностью простых, абсцисса абсолютной сходимости равна $\frac{1}{\sigma}$. Таким образом, с помощью теоремы Ингама удалось решить проблему для значений абсциссы абсолютной сходимости от 0 до $\frac{1}{3}$. Для таких моноидов удается получить асимптотическую формулу для функции распределения простых чисел $\pi_{\mathbb{P}_\sigma}(x)$: $\pi_{\mathbb{P}_\sigma}(x)=x^{\frac{1}{\sigma}}+\theta(x)$, где $-2<\theta(x)<-1$.
Для доказательства существования моноида натуральных чисел, для дзета-функции которого значение абсциссы абсолютной сходимости от $\frac{1}{3}$ до 1, потребовалось использовать теорему Россера о простых числах. Для этого было введено понятие $\sigma$"=последовательности второго рода.
В заключении рассмотрены актуальные задачи с дзета-функциями моноидов натуральных чисел, требующие дальнейшего исследования.
