Systematic research of the ornithofauna of the Natural Monument "Lalinačka slatina" salt marsh has not been conducted so far, and data on some species of salt marsh birds are given only in the ...conservation study of this area. The first systematic surveys of ornithofauna were conducted in the period 2020-2021 with an emphasis on the nesting period of most species. The collected data were combined with data from the conservation study and indicated the presence of 72 bird species from 24 families and 12 orders. Migratory statuses have shown that the area is dominated by nesting birds, as many as 42 species have been recorded, as well as 24 species of strays, 5 species of wintering birds and 1 passer-by. Most of the bird species found in the "Lalinačka slatina" area are included in the various national and international lists, and are important considering the aspect of protection since they are endangered and rare.
U radu autor s aspekta povijesti institucija obrađuje ustroj i djelovanje Dioničarskog društva vicinalne željeznice Szt. Lörincz-Slatina-Našice u periodu od godine 1894., kada je društvo osnovano sa ...sjedištem u Budimpešti, pa sve do godine 1948., kada je tadašnja aktualna vlast i formalno-pravno legalizirala nacionalizaciju privatnih privrednih poduzeća. Dio pruga na području Kraljevine Hrvatske i Slavonije nalazio se u potpunosti u Virovitičkoj županiji. U Kraljevini Srba, Hrvata i Slovenaca društvo je premjestilo svoje sjedište u Beograd. Poslove dioničarskog društva obavljali su glavna skupština dioničara, ravnateljstvo i nadzorni odbor. Pruge društva bile su u državnoj eksploataciji, odnosno upravi. Društvo je u Austro-Ugarskoj Monarhiji poslovalo s financijskim dobitkom.
In the paper the author outlines from the aspect of the history of institutions the structure and the activity of the Szt. Lörincz-Slatina-Našice Vicinal Railway Ltd. in the timeframe from its establishment in 1894, the buying off of the railway tracks in its ownership by the state in 1938, the transfer of ownership of bought railway tracks in the Central cadastral book of railways and canals to the State in 1939, ending with 1948 when the government of the time formally legalised the nationalisation of private economic companies. The following railways made the company’s railway network: Baranya-Szent-Lörincz-Baranya Sellye put in service on 21 May 1895, Baranya Sellye-Našice put in service on 23 December 1895, and the branch
line Noskovci-Drava riverbank put in service on 9 July 1901. The stock company’s railway lines directly connected the Kingdom of Croatia and Slavonia with Hungary, which enabled the faster flow of goods and wares in both directions. The part of the railway line in the territory of the
Kingdom of Croatia and Slavonia was completely in the Virovitica County. As with most vicinal railways, the company’s headquarters was in
Budapest, and in the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes it was transferred to Belgrade. The stock company’s tasks were performed by: the stockholders’ general assembly, headquarters and the inspecting committee. The company’s railway lines were exploited i.e. administrated
by the state. During the Austro-Hungarian Monarchy the company’s railway lines were exploited by the Traffic Administration of the Royal Hungarian State Railways in Zagreb, whereas after the establishment of the Traffic Administration in Pecs they came under the latter’s jurisdiction. In the Kingdom of Serb, Croats and Slovenes/Yugoslavia the
company’s railway lines were exploited by the Directorate of the State Railways in Zagreb. Because of the company’s capital of 10,199.200 crowns and being solvent it can be concluded that the stock company represented a respectable and successful private vicinal railway.
The site of Slatina in the vicinity of the town of Paraćin (Serbia), in the valley of Velika Morava River, was a large Neolithic settlement, with substantial remains attributed to the Late Neolithic ...Vinča culture. Rescue excavations were carried out between 1962 and 1964 and 1984– 1985, and among other rich and diverse remains of structures and portable finds, approximately 80 artefacts from osseous raw materials were recovered. The typological repertoire included awls, heavy points, burnishing tools and used astragals, produced from bone and antler. The bone tool assemblage shares common traits with other assemblages from the Vinča culture, but also displays some of the local characteristics, in particular regarding the raw material management.
This paper isolates the syntactic and semantic models of the temporal genitive with the meaning of temporal identification – temporal localization (simultaneity and successiveness) and temporal ...quantification, specifically temporal quantification in the narrow sense (longitudinality, terminativeness and ingressiveness) and temporal frequency (regularity). It further isolates typical temporal meanings expressed by the genitive: direct temporal localization without awareness of the passing of time, with the presence of processuality markers (-): usred/ početkom/ u koncu/ koncem + genitive; direct temporal localization with awareness of the passing of time, with the presence of processuality markers (+): preko/ za vrijeme + genitive; direct temporal localization unmarked in terms of awareness of the passing of time, with the presence of processuality markers (+/-): kod + genitive; direct temporal localization with actualization markers: ovaj, neki, jedan, isti, prošli, prvi, drugi + genitive; indefinite indirect temporal localization with linear circumlativity markers: oko + genitive; definite direct temporal localization – temporal anteriority; prije/ uoči/ ispred + genitive and temporal posteriority: poslije/ iza + genitive. The meaning of temporal quantification in the narrow sense is expressed as longitudinality: čitav/ cijeli + genitive, ingressiveness: od + genitive and terminativeness: do + genitive, while the temporal frequency was confirmed in the meaning of regularity: svaki + genitive. The corpus was collected in field research of the speech of the Slatina region in the north-west of the Republic of Srpska. The analysis compared the recorded aspects of temporal relations expressed with the genitive to the state in similar speeches of the Herzegovina-Krajina dialect.
The rescue archaeological excavations made in 2019 at Slatina, Olt County, revealed the remains of some prehistoric settlements, Vădastra and Verbicioara type, but also of an Ipoteşti‐Cândeşti ...(VI‐VIIth centuries AD) one. In this contribution we analyse the artifacts discovered as the result of the rescue excavations and their contexts, in our effort to complete the image of prehistoric and Ist Millennium habitat from Slatina and its surroundings.
V prispevku je obravnavanih pet slik z upodobitvami najpomembnejših dogodkov v zgodovini zdravilišča Rogaška Slatina ter trije portreti Habsburžanov in dva portreta Karađorđevićev. Osredotoča ...se na literarne vire, na katerih sta temeljila izbor motivov in ikonografija zgodovinskih upodobitev, ki so bile naslikane za najimenitnejšo dvorano nekdanjega Zdraviliškega doma (zdaj Grand Hotel Rogaška). Na podlagi arhivskih virov je osvetljen do zdaj neobravnavani zgodovinski in družbeni kontekst javnih naročil. V prispevku je analizirana vloga tedanjega zdraviliškega ravnatelja, doktorja prava Franza Mullija, ter njegovih povezav s predstavniki štajerske deželne vlade in kulturnih institucij, ki so se odrazile v zaposlitvi takrat zelo cenjenega graškega slikarja Alfreda von Schrötterja. V novih poli- tičnih razmerah po koncu prve svetovne vojne je Mullijev naslednik, doktor prava Franc Šter, naročil zgodovinsko sliko in portreta pri uveljavljenem ljubljanskem portretistu Ivanu Vavpotiču.
Halomorphic (or saline) soils, are characterized by high concentrations of soluble salts or sodium, or both. Saline soils have unfavorable agricultural properties but provide the natural habitats for ...a variety of highly specialized plants, animals, and other organisms. It is these special interactions that create the typical landscape of saline soils, known as “slatina”. The aim of this study is to assess and evaluate the geotouristic potential of six of the most attractive slatina sites in the Vojvodina region, Northern Serbia: Jegrička, Slano Kopovo, Rusanda, Okanj, Pečena slatina, and Pašnjaci Velike Droplje. Overall, all analyzed sites have significant tourism potential, based on both natural and tourist values. In addition to the tourism potentials, analyzed sites have high value as a natural endemic ecosystem inhabited with highly specialized plants and birds.

The authors have provided a copy of the party programme of the lawyer and, as he was referred to at the time, royal notary Zdravko Kovačević in Slatina, a distinguished member of the Democratic Party in the Slavonian-Syrmian area. The text provides reflections on the crucial inner political issue of the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes, the discontent of the Croats with the new conditions, with special emphasis on the ideology of Yugoslav unitarism. They are (due to the poor state of preservation of party political and other archival records) interwoven with Kovačević’s valuable (but mostly disregarded in historiography) personal experience during the first years of his political activities in the new state. The document also provides basic information about Kovačević as well as a brief analysis of the text, his
motives and the reactions to it.
The isotopic investigations of groundwaters stored in the Rogaška Slatina fractured aquifer system were performed in the periods 1978–1985 and 2007–2011 aiming at answering open questions on the ...groundwater recharge and dynamics, on connections between different types of aquifers and on solute transport. Environmental isotopes 2H, 18O, 3H, 13C of dissolved inorganic carbon and 14C were analysed in mineral, thermo-mineral and spring waters. Results indicated the source and mechanism of groundwater recharge, its renewability, a transit time distribution, hydraulic interrelationships, the groundwater origin and its evolution due to effects of waterrock interaction. They proved the hypothesis that the Boča massif should be a catchment area of the Rogaška mineral waters. The estimates of the mean residence time of mineral waters in the aquifer system are between 7200 and 3400 years, depending on the location and depth. Thermo-mineral water is the oldest water in the study area with the mean residence time of 14000 years.
The paper presents the horizontal and vertical stratigraphy of the site of
Bolnica in Paracin, based on both earlier and the latest archaeological
excavations and the material which had been ...collected for decades by the
Hometown Museum in Paracin, as a result of the construction works connected
with the constant urbanisation of the area. The presented archaeological
material is attributed to a period from the Early Neolithic to the so-called
Dacian La T?ne, meaning the 2nd century AD. One of the subjects discussed in
this paper is the possibility that the sites of Bolnica and Motel Slatina,
in fact, represent one large site, which was artificially divided by the E
75 highway and the Serbian Glass Factory. The comparative analysis, which
encompassed the sites positioned on the right bank of the Velika Morava
River, showed that this is one of the sites with the most independent
chronological sequences in the Central Morava Region. Likewise, the
importance of this site as a strategic point and an important intersection
on the route from the Danube River to the Central Balkans, and further
towards the south and east is underlined. Finally, we analysed the
appearance of Dacian material culture during the 1st and the 2nd century AD
and compared the occurrence of certain forms and decorations with relevant
sites in present-day Romania. The paper cautiously suggests that the Dacian
material culture represents traces of the deportation of 100,000
Transdanubians to the territory of Moesia by the legate Silvanus Aelianus,
possibly between 61 AD and 64 AD, during the reign of Emperor Nero, which
has been partially confirmed by new archaeological excavations at the site
of Glozdak-Lidl during 2018.
