The content analysis performed in this article is meant to evaluate the conceptualization of a national program on continuing professional development of primary and secondary school teachers in Bogotá, a program estimated to impact on teaching collaboration and educational innovation. The STEM + TRANSFORMS Teachers Network is where this process is carried out, with teachers who have pedagogical initiatives in educational innovation with a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics). The content analysis was carried out by examining two reference documents for STEM networks and programs in Colombia and Latin America, and conducting an interview with the institutional support coordinators of the Network. The findings will enable an understanding of approaches and challenges related to educational innovation through STEM processes and cooperative work. Soil washing with green eluent is an efficient technique to remediate heavy metal contaminated farmland. In addition to eluent, less is known about the roles of accompanying ions on heavy metal ...removal. We investigated the effects of accompanying ions including Fe3+, Mn2+, Ca2+, Mg2+, Al3+, Si4+ and PO43− on the desorption of Pb2+ and Cd2+ in paddy and arid soils using ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid and polyepoxysuccinic acid as eluents. The release rates of target and accompanying ions showed significant fast and slow reaction stages based on corresponding analysis and kinetic models. In fast reaction stage, Pb2+ and Cd2+ performed geochemical analogy with Ca2+, Mg2+ and PO43−. The release curves of these ions were fitted well with Elovich model, indicating that they released from oxysalt surface into solution via ion exchange, and dissolution of Fe/Mn/Al/Si (hydr)oxides through H+- and ligand-promoted dissolution. In slow reaction stage, Pb2+ and Cd2+ were related to Fe3+, Mn2+, Al3+ and Si4+, which were controlled by intraparticle diffusion process. H+ slowly diffused into interlayer of phyllosilicates to displace target and accompanying ions by ion exchange. Therefore, this research filled the gap of accompanying ions driving the release behavior of heavy metal ions during leaching.

O objetivo deste estudo foi analisar o ...rendimento de filé e as características físico-químicas da espécie nativa Crenicichla punctata de grande ocorrência na pesca incidental artesanal em regiões tropicais e subtropicais do cis-Andina América do Sul do Rio Orinoco e Trinidad, no norte da bacia do Rio Paraná, no Sul, para que possa ser utilizada para alimentação humana ou ser aproveitada em vários nichos do mercado consumidor. Os exemplares foram capturados nas coordenadas 33°16’41.94”S e 52°54’16.67”O, com redes de emalhe de 45mm entrenós, na qual a joaninha (Crenicichla punctata) é mais recorrente, sendo que o alvo de captura são as espécies de importância econômica traíra (Hoplias malabaricus) e jundiá (Rhamdia quelen). O rendimento de filé foi superior a 53% e apresentou características físico-químicas relevantes. O filé é considerado magro e de alto valor proteico, características que demonstram que a espécie é uma fonte de proteína de baixo custo e uma alternativa para a sustentabilidade da pesca
Background
The veno‐accompanying artery adipofascial (VAF) flap is nourished by accompanying vessels near large superficial veins. We examined whether the VAF flap can be applied to the external ...jugular vein.
Methods
Based on anatomic and angiographic studies, we performed reconstructive surgeries using external jugular veno‐accompanying artery adipofascial (EJ‐VAF) flaps. A retrospective chart review was performed for all patients who underwent this surgery.
Results
The presence of arteries accompanying the external jugular vein was confirmed. The presence of source arteries was also confirmed. These included the occipital, facial, and superior thyroid arteries. All patients had satisfactory outcomes, except for 1 patient who had partial necrosis, which was managed using conservative treatment.
Conclusion
Our anatomic and angiographic studies in this clinical series indicate that the EJ‐VAF flap is a reliable and convenient flap. Thus, it is useful in reconstruction of small to medium head and neck defects.
A significativa mudança de paradigma, provocada pela edição da Lei 49/2018, que internalizou os termos da Convenção de Nova York ao introduzir no ordenamento jurídico português o processo especial de ...acompanhamento de maior, torna necessária a realização de uma profunda reflexão sobre as condições de possibilidade teórico-normativas para uma adequada configuração do instituto orientada ao seu aproveitamento e melhor efetivação, temas que constituem o objeto do presente estudo. Com a acelerada modificação do status demográfico das sociedades contemporâneas e a deterioração das condições de seguridade e de assistência socioafetiva, a busca pela preservação da capacidade jurídica e do exercício da autonomia pelo próprio indivíduo que, por razões de saúde, deficiência ou pelo seu comportamento, se encontre impossibilitado de exercer pessoal, plena e conscientemente os seus direitos ou de cumprir os seus deveres, o que configura importante desafio aos estudos teórico-dogmáticos e aos operadores práticos do direito. Há uma especial preocupação pelos magistrados e advogados, envolvidos diretamente no processo de acompanhamento, mas que é também extensiva a toda a sociedade. A nova legislaçao levanta o problema dsa condições do exercício da autonomia individual em situação de dificuldadades pessoais, tema que pode ser melhor compreendido por meio de uma análise intrínseca ao ordenamento jurídico português e comparativa. O presente estudo tem como ponto de partida a contextualização e evolução do regime das incapacidades, a nível internacional e nacional, para compreender as alterações processuais inerentes à aplicação de medidas de acompanhamento pela via judicial. No que se refere ao processo, é apreciada, em especial, a sua natureza e caracterização, e são expostos os princípios processuais que enformam os poderes do juiz, ao que se segue a análise de alguns aspectos da tramitação do processo. A exposição tem por base o regime jurídico vigente, a posição da doutrina e algumas decisões jurisprudenciais de referência.

This study aimed to evaluate the level of counting by indicator microorganisms, identify the microbial ecology, detect Listeria monocytogenes and Salmonella sp., and determine the presence of virulence genes and biofilm formation. A total of 480 samples were collected from the surfaces of the equipment and utensils using sterile swabs for the detection of L. monocytogenes and Salmonella sp. and counting mesophilic aerobes, Enterobacteriaceae, Escherichia coli, and Pseudomonas sp. The microbial ecology was evaluated by sequencing the 16S rRNA gene. Genes for virulence and biofilm formation were analyzed and adhesion capacity was evaluated for L. monocytogenes and Salmonella sp. The mesophilic aerobe count was the highest in the dairy processing facility, followed by the pork and poultry slaughterhouses. L. monocytogenes was detected in all facilities, with the highest detection in the pork slaughterhouse, followed by the poultry and dairy facilities. Salmonella sp. was only detected in the dairy. Isolates of L. monocytogenes and Salmonella sp. showed poor adhesion to polystyrene surfaces, virulence genes, and biofilm formation. The frequent contaminants in the slaughterhouses were Pseudomonas, Acinetobacter, and Aeromonas in poultry, Acinetobacter, Pseudomonas, and Brevundimonas in pork, and Pseudomonas, Kocuria, and Staphylococcus in dairy. Our results provide useful information to understand the microbiological risks associated with contamination.
Hydrogen (H2) energy is a promising candidate to replace carbon monoxide (CO) as a reductant for iron oxide reduction in revolutionary ironmaking industrial processes, and numerous studies have been ...conducted to intensively study the utilization and impact of H2 in ironmaking processes. Therefore, this review first collects and compares the H2-assisted reduction mechanism and kinetics. The impacts of H2 on the reduction accompanying behaviors, such as the disintegration, swelling, sticking, softening, and melting of iron ores, are then summarized. Third, the performance of H2 predicted by either mass and heat balance models or numerical simulation models in various ironmaking processes is highlighted. Finally, the different applications of hydrogen-rich materials in blast furnace and non-blast furnace ironmaking processes are further compared to illuminate H2 utilization before our outlook on the use of H2 in the ironmaking industry.
•H2 has a great potential to replace fossil fuel used in ironmaking industry.•H2 performs greater reduction rate than CO by reducing apparent activation energy.•H2 reduces the disintegration, swelling, sticking of iron oxide, but delays its melting.•H2 has lower utilization efficiency than CO in industrial practices.•Mixing fossil fuel and H2 is suggested to be an efficient solution at present stage.

Differential evolution (DE) is an intelligent optimization algorithm inspired by biological evolution. Setting a mutation strategy and control parameters that meet the optimization requirements are the premise for DE to achieve good performance. This paper proposes a parameter and strategy adaptive differential evolution algorithm based on accompanying evolution (APSDE). Through the accompanying population, in which individuals are composed of suboptimal solutions, the mutation strategy and control parameters are optimized to realize the adaptation of the strategy and parameters of the main population. Population diversity is enhanced in evolution by generating reverse individuals. In addition, radial spatial projection technology is utilized to track the change in evolution direction with optimization. The performance of APSDE is validated under four sets of benchmark problem suites from the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Congress on Evolutionary Computation (CEC), and compared with state-of-the-art optimization algorithms. The results show that the proposed algorithm has better optimization performance than the competitive algorithms because of its efficient adaptive mechanism and its excellent population diversity.
