Recently Schönbrodt et al. (2022) released recommendations for improving how psychologists could be evaluated for recruitment, retention, and promotion. Specifically, they provided four principles of ...responsible research assessment in response to current methods that rely heavily on bibliometric indices of journal quality and research impact. They build their case for these principles on the San Francisco Declaration on Research Assessment (DORA) perspective that decries reliance on invalid quantitative metrics of research quality and productivity in hiring and promotion. The paper makes clear the tension panels have to address in evaluating applications—too little time to do an in-depth evaluation of an individual’s career and contribution, so reliance on easy to understand, but perhaps invalid, metrics. This dilemma requires an alternative mechanism rather than simply a rejection of metrics. To that end, the authors are to be congratulated for operationalising what those alternatives might look like. Nonetheless, the details embedded in the principles seem overly narrow and restrictive.
Background: The customer churn construct attracted the attention of marketing academics as in today’s digital world price is becoming more and more universal. The study of customer churn is ...significant because it supports the design of sustainable competitive benefits and improvement in the monetary outcomes of companies. As per a study by Gartner (2012), Customer churn can impact the profitability of the company, a five per cent churn reduction can improve a company’s profitability by up to twenty-five per cent, hence understating and managing customer churn is important for the organization. Objective: This study intends to offer the most recent status of published articles on the customer churn constructs on the Scopus database. Methodology: The bibliometric analysis was conducted on the keyword “customer churn” in the Scopus database using the “Title, Abstract, and Keywords” search option. Results and Conclusion: According to the study, the customer churn construct has emerged as a major research subject in the last decade, with a total of 1,305 articles till the end of the year 2020. Study reveals customer churn construct is a global phenomenon that has captured the interest of experts all around the world in the previous decade, exponential increase in publications ranging from the year 2017 to 2020. The study reveals that publications on customer churn are available in a variety of fields and the discipline of “business management” leads this area of study. The study can be used by academicians as a ready reference if they want to do further study on the customer churn construct.
The environmental impacts that we are currently facing worldwide are due to a system that uses all available resources as if they were unlimited and therefore an uncontrolled amount of garbage has ...been generated that is causing damage to the environment and consequently to human health. . In search of solutions to these problems, new ways of managing waste have been implemented, which are often not applied due to lack of knowledge of them. Mechanical shops offer a variety of services, from tire repairs to collision services, whether for light or heavy vehicles, or promote maintenance of mechanical systems in general. These services generate several types of solid waste , including rags contaminated with oils or solvents, plastic containers, old tires, oil, transmission or air filters; plastic and metal body parts, batteries, glass and residual sludge, mostly hazardous waste. In this context, the objective of the article was to carry out a scientific mapping on waste management in mechanical workshops, and in search of good practices. For this, a quantitative and qualitative bibliometrics was carried out. The results indicate that life cycle analysis is the most appropriate tool to define the best use of the waste generated (co-products), followed by management systems and tools and cleaner production. Continuous staff training is essential; to maintain more efficient processes that present returns within each business. The adoption of environmental or management certifications is a big step within each business, but in small mechanical workshops, good waste management is quite sufficient and significant.

Mali alan esas itibariyle devletlerin yaşamış olduğu veya yaşayacak olduğu mali dar boğazlardan kurtulmanın bir çözüm yolu olarak ortaya atılmıştır. Buna göre devletler ekonomik gidişatın iyi olduğu dönemlerde mali alanlarını genişleterek zor günlere ihtiyat ayırmalarını amaçlamaktadır. Bu çalışma, literatürde mali alanla alakalı olarak yapılmış çalışmaların bibliyometrik ağ analizi ortaya çıkararak alanın nerede olduğu ve nereye doğru gittiğini amaçlamaktadır. 1990-2022 yıllarını esas alan çalışma da veriler söz konusu dönem için Web of Science çekirdek koleksiyonundan derlenmiştir. Girilen kısıtlar neticesinde ortaya çıkan 8586 çalışma VOSviewer yazılımı ile analiz edilmiş, analize ilişkin ağ haritaları ve ağda bulunan en etkili ülke, kurum, yazar işbirlikleri, anahtar kelimeler ve çalışmalar ortaya çıkarılmıştır. Buna göre çalışmaların genel itibariyle 2000’li yıllardan sonra artış gösterdiği, ağda yer alan kurumların menşei ülkelere bakıldığında genel olarak gelişmiş ülke kurumları olduğu, yine en etkili ülkelerin ağda gelişmiş ülkeler olduğu tespit edilmiştir.
Fiscal discipline, sustainable growth and development, tax and spending policies, austerity measures and credibility are among the areas that gained popularity with the concept of fiscal field in the 1990s. The financial sphere has been put forward mainly as a solution to get rid of the financial bottlenecks that states have experienced or will experience. Accordingly, states aim to expand their financial areas during periods when the economic trend is good and to allocate caution to difficult days. This study aims to reveal bibliometric network analysis of the studies conducted in the literature related to the financial field and where the field is and where it is going. In the study, which is based on the years 1990-2022, the data were compiled from the core collection of Web of Science for the period in question. 8586 studies were analysed with VOSviewer software, network maps related to the analysis and the most effective country, institution, author collaborations, keywords and studies in the network were revealed. Accordingly, it has been determined that the studies have increased after the 2000s in general, that the institutions in the network are generally developed country institutions when the countries of origin are examined, and that the most effective countries are the developed countries in the network.
La presente investigación tiene como objetivo analizar la producción científica de una revista colombiana sobre ciencias del movimiento humano. Se analizaron 131 documentos publicados entre 2011 y ...2022 en base a indicadores como palabras clave, autores, afiliación institucional, países, departamentos, idioma, muestra, diseño de investigación, temática e índices métricos. La información se obtuvo de su versión en línea y para la obtención del índice de citas se utilizó la información proporcionada por Google Scholar. En los resultados se observa un promedio de 2,5 autores, ha aumentado la internacionalización de la revista, donde el 41,7% de los autores son de otros países. La Universidad Santo Tomás es la más productiva y la que tiene mayor número de redes de colaboración. Finalmente, el Citation Index indica que el artículo más citado ha sido en 135 ocasiones, el Índice de Precios es del 37,6%, el Índice de Multilingüismo es del 37,7%.

Abstract. The objective of this research was to analyze the scientific production of a Colombian Journal in Human Movement Sciences. 131 documents published between 2011 and 2022 were analyzed based on indicators such as keywords, authors, institutional affiliation, countries, departments, language, sampling, research design, theme, and metric indices. The information was obtained from its online version and to obtain the citation index, the information provided by Google academic was used. The results show an average of 2.5 authors, the internationalization of the journal has increased, where 41.7% of the authors are from other countries. The Santo Tomás University is the most productive and the one with the greatest number of collaboration network-works. Finally, the Citation Index indicates that the most cited article has been cited 135 times, the Price Index is 37.6%, and the Multilingualism Index is 37.7%.

En las últimas décadas, la investigación en Psicología Positiva ha realizado aportes relevantes al campo de la psicología y el comportamiento humano, entre los que se destacan una concepción más ...amplia y enriquecida de las posibilidades y capacidades de los individuos y de la sociedad, y con ella, una reflexión en torno a nociones como bienestar, florecimiento, calidad de vida y desarrollo humano. Además, ha propiciado el estudio de factores que contribuyen a la salud física y mental, y el diseño de intervenciones efectivas que favorecen dichos aspectos. Estos aportes se ven hoy reflejados en múltiples estudios y publicaciones1 que, indudablemente, han contribuido al avance de la ciencia y al fortalecimiento de la formación de estudiantes, académicos y profesionales de la psicología y áreas afines.

Objetivo: Identificar e analisar as principais características das publicações científicas e tecnológicas, especialmente artigos e patentes, sobre a mandioca. Metodologia: Adota o estudo ...bibliométrico, de natureza descritiva com enfoque exploratório, tendo como fonte de informação a base de dados de artigos científicos Scopus para examinar as temáticas mais tratadas a partir da coocorrência de palavras-chave, os principais autores e sua afiliação e os principais países detectados nos artigos para patentes, a base Questel Orbit, em virtude de sua cobertura global, para analisar da situação legal, dos pedidos de patentes ou patentes concedidas, ano de aplicação, domínio tecnológico, detentores das patentes ou pedidos de patentes, localização de mercados e concorrentes, principais players. Resultados: Os dados levantados demonstram um total domínio brasileiro sobre a produção científica e tecnológica sobre a espécie Manihot esculenta. Conclusão: Se faz necessário ampliar estudos desta natureza para amparar discussões que possam contribuir para um efetivo ganho para a sociedade a partir dos conhecimentos tradicionais associados às inovações disponibilizadas no mercado.
Analisando os artigos científicos, publicados no período entre 2011 e 2020, cuja temática abordam os indicadores educacionais, verificou-se que a obrigatoriedade legal da aplicabilidade de tais ...indicadores na gestão de instituições de ensino gera demanda sobre o tema, evidenciando sua relevância. O período compreendido pela pesquisa abarca dois terços do tempo desde o início das metas do Índice de Desenvolvimento da Educação Básica (IDEB) até os dias atuais, haja vista que ocorreram mudanças na legislação sobre o tema. A seleção das publicações foi investigada na base de dados da Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior - CAPES, por meio das expressões em português “indicadores educacionais, métricas educacionais e índices educacionais”, obtendo um total de 79 publicações com a abordagem pretendida. Para a análise das publicações foi utilizada a metodologia de estudo bibliométrico, com o apoio dos indicadores inerentes à classificação das publicações ao longo dos anos, das leis bibliométricas de Lotka e Bradford, da identificação dos periódicos, da autoria atrelada à sua produtividade, da relevância, das temáticas abordadas e da metodologia utilizada. De todos os artigos analisados, houve a vinculação de 164 autores, dentre os quais sete aparecem em mais de um artigo no período em análise. Os resultados dos últimos cinco anos indicam um crescimento do número de publicações, tanto que esse período atinge o percentual de 59,5% de todas as publicações analisadas. Apesar do aumento, significativo, de publicações nos últimos anos, o número de publicações analisadas não apresenta concentração em temáticas de estudo ou de pesquisadores.
