Creativity and innovation are frequently mentioned as key 21st-century skills for career and life success. Indeed, recent research provides evidence that the jobs of the future will increasingly ...require the ability to bring creative solutions to complex problems. And creativity is often the spice of life, that little extra something that makes the mundane into the interesting, making our routines into fresh new approaches to our daily lives. Over the past quarter century, our understanding of creativity has advanced significantly--we know more about what it is (and is not), we better understand how to foster it, and we have deeper, more complex knowledge about how it relates to intelligence, leadership, personality, and other constructs. This book brings together some of the world's best thinkers and researchers on creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurship to provide a comprehensive but highly readable overview of these exciting, important topics.
The scoping review aimed to describe differences in creativity between deaf and hard of hearing and typically hearing people. The research question for the review was: what are the differences in the ...creativity of deaf and hard-of-hearing people in comparison with people with typical hearing? A total of eleven databases were used for the search, as well as sources of the unpublished studies/gray literature. The scoping review was prepared following the Joanna Briggs Institute methodology and PRISMA frame as a basis for reporting scoping reviews. A total of 30 studies were analyzed concerning the selected research areas. Intrinsic creativity was the first area identified. Specific activities for the development of creativity formed the second area for analysis. The third area focused on differences in creativity between deaf and hard of hearing and typically hearing. The fourth area includes studies that call for an equitable research environment.

have been analyzed. The article also considers the problem of “physicists and lyric poets”, which prompted researchers to look for possible ways
to resolve the contradictions. It resulted in the establishment of interdisciplinary connections between cybernetics and art at the non-classical
stage, while at the post-non-classical stage, an interdisciplinary synthesis led to their mutually beneficial collaboration. The author uses the
notion of hyphspace as metaphorical abstraction for defining a virtual reality (a component of the noosphere) that exists inside a computer network
(the subject–polysubject environment). Hyphspace at the present stage of cybernetics development is becoming the basis for its subsequent (but not final)
upgrade – fourth order cybernetics. Cybernetics in an interdisciplinary synthesis with art is moving from cognizing human–machine systems to the formations

The interdisciplinary research on the perception of creative identities like artists, creators,entrepreneurs, leaders, and managers brings substantial conclusions for understanding the way of ...thinking, internal features, and motivations of decisions of individuals with and without artistic factor. For this purpose, an international quantitative examination of 160 individuals was undertaken. The research exhibited that individuals with and without artistic identity perceive artists, creators, entrepreneurs, leaders, and managers statistically similar (chi-square test of independence used, p < 0.001). The negative verification of the hypotheses was astonishing and a novelty in the investigated area. The novelty should be seen as an artistic potential existing in each individual. The additional qualitative analysis of the 50 features constituting the investigated identities revealed that individuals with and without artistic identity see particular features of these identities slightly differently (the most important, the least important, and the most equally perceived features were described in detail). The outcomes were discussed with the literature on the subject, confirming most other researchers’ theses and revealing some contradictions and can be used to understand the qualities of artistic identity and the perception of investigated identities by individuals, groups, and societies dominated by persons with and without artistic factors. The applicability of the results is broad, mainly due to the role of artistry in today’s world as potential laying in every individual. Specific triggers should be catalyzed instead of looking for artist-born individuals. The education process of artists should focus on revealing artistic potential underlining the role of inspiration, and discovering the motifs of artistic activity.
Professional practice is increasingly becoming more complex, demanding, dynamic and diverse. This important and original new book considers how self- study using arts-based methods can enable ...purposeful reflection toward understanding and envisioning professional practice. Ideally for visual arts practitioners on all levels, this book presents a self-study model grounded in compelling research that highlights arts-based methods for examining four areas of professional practice: professional identities, work cultures, change and transitions and envisioning new pathways. Chapters address the components of the self-study model, artistic methods and materials, and strategies for interpreting self-study written and visual outcomes with the aim of goal setting. The aim of the article is to portray translation as a means of constructing cultures in terms of philosophy. Proceeding from the idea that cultural enrichment occurs due to the translation of not ...only literary works, but also ideas, traditions, way of living, etc., the hypothesis was put forward that philosophical description and analysis of translation should be carried out on the basis of two interwoven phenomena – culture and creativeness. Methodology of the article is determined by general humanitarian principles of interdisciplinarity (use of methods and theories of such correlated disciplines as cultural studies, translation studies, philosophy), anthropocentrism (emphasis on the agent of action as a focal point of translation process), and poliparadigmatism (combination of provisions of classical structural and modern cognitive paradigms resulting in the complex character of the research). Scientific novelty of the research is determined by obtaining some new information concerning the role of translation as a means of (self)cognition / (self)reflection; individual and collective development; and shaping cultural continuum. Innovative approach to translation allows to come to a more profound philosophical understanding of this phenomenon going beyond its linguistic and/or communicative essence and to appreciate its significance for creative self-improvement of all the involved individuals (author, translator, and recipient) as well as for sustained cultural growth all over the world. Conclusions. Conducted research revealed global creative function of translation that helps establish and develop cultures on a universal scale since the majority of national cultures were constructed in the process and under the influence of translation. In the context of Ukrainian colonial and post-colonial history, the article highlighted the role of translation as a cultural catalyst, transmitter of ideas, and defender of spiritual values.
