Venn diagrams are commonly used to display list comparison. In biology, they are widely used to show the differences between gene lists originating from different differential analyses, for instance. ...They thus allow the comparison between different experimental conditions or between different methods. However, when the number of input lists exceeds four, the diagram becomes difficult to read. Alternative layouts and dynamic display features can improve its use and its readability.
jvenn is a new JavaScript library. It processes lists and produces Venn diagrams. It handles up to six input lists and presents results using classical or Edwards-Venn layouts. User interactions can be controlled and customized. Finally, jvenn can easily be embeded in a web page, allowing to have dynamic Venn diagrams.
jvenn is an open source component for web environments helping scientists to analyze their data. The library package, which comes with full documentation and an example, is freely available at http://bioinfo.genotoul.fr/jvenn.

In this modern era, technology is one of our main necessities. Technology is always evolving and changes from day by day. One of the major developments in technology is the increasing usage of mobile ...devices for personal use or even for company use. AA-AS/EDS-WIR2 is one of the sub departments in the Robert Bosch Company that creates applications for the automotive market. The department has created an application named ActiveSchematics AutoRendering. This application is used in car workshops to help mechanics to repair car defects by rendering the car schematics. This application is constructed with an ASP.NET framework combined with a standalone Delphi program as a plugin. The front-end development is done using HTML5, CSS, JavaScript code, and the back-end development is done using C#. The schematics are SVG-based with HTML as the container file. At present, the rendered schematics are not compatible when opened from a mobile browser, because the legacy support for interactivity (for example zooming and panning) is implemented without any mobile support code. The company wants the application to become a mobile device friendly application. The research proposal to be addressed is to solve which front-end libraries can be used to help the SVG schematics to implement mobile-based gesture compatibility. After some trial and error experiments, mobile device improvement will be implemented by adding jQuery, Hammer.js, jQuery PanZoom, and Bootstrap library. The experimental results have been successful and the company can have the mobile device friendly feature for their clients. This research shows that jQuery and hammer.js can be implemented on an SVG object to become a mobile device friendly schematic.
Artykuł przedstawia analizę porównawczą technologii jQuery Mobile oraz frameworka Bootstrap w procesie wytwarzania stron responsywnych. Porównanie odbywa się na podstawie dwóch stron wykonanych w ...tych obu technologiach. Kryteriami analizy są: kompatybilność z urządzeniami mobilnymi, ułatwienia i gotowe komponenty, szybkość ładowania na różnych urządzeniach, wielkość kodu oraz zgodność ze standardami W3C i Google. Każda z technologii w dużym stopniu ułatwia proces tworzenia stron, aczkolwiek jQuery Mobile jest narzędziem znacznie bardziej rozbudowanym.
In present study a method that enables users to dynamically insert the forest plot into a web page was presented. In this method, I created a Javascript module for generating and inserting a HTML ...table, including an entry function and two sub-functions. When the user applies it, copy these functions together with the table mark into the web page location where the forest plot is to be inserted. The web page will generate the forest plot by passing in parameters and calling the entry function in the user's own Javascript module. The full Javascript codes were given for free uses of web developers.
Abstrak-- Perkembangan teknologi di era globalisasi ini berlangsung sangat cepat. Sehingga menuntut manusia memasuki kehidupan yang berdampingan dengan informasi dan teknologi. Dengan adanya ...informasi dan teknologi masalah-masalah yang timbul di sekitar dapat dipermudah dan diatasi. Apalagi untuk mendapatkan sebuah informasi umum yang berkualitas, tepat, cepat, dan akurat haruslah mudah diakses oleh berbagai pihak yang berkepentingan, seperti Pariwisata. Saat ini hampir sebagian pemerintah daerah belum memiliki sistem informasi untuk mempermudah wisatawan dalam berlibur. Sistem informasi yang ada hanyalah melalui internet berupa tampilan gambar, ada juga dengan peta tetapi ketepatan tempatnya tidak sesuai sehingga menyebabkan para wisatawan bingung dan hanya menghabiskan waktu dijalan untuk mencari tempat saja. Oleh karena itu perlunya sistem informasi yang lengkap untuk mengidentifikasi lokasi-lokasi wisata. Tidak hanya itu saja melainkan tambahan seperti restoran, dan penginapan. Dengan ini ada nilai tambahan bagi pemerintah untuk mengembangkan daerahnya. Maka dibuatlah Sistem Informasi Geografis untuk mempermudah wisatawan dalam berlibur berbasis website menggunakan Google Maps API untuk pembuatan Sistem Informasi Geografis. Sistem informasi geografis Wisata Kabupaten Bangka Barat yang dapat digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi dan memperoleh informasi mengenai lokasi dengan menampilkan titik koordinat lokasi wisata, penginapan, restoran pada peta, dan informasi rute lokasi wisata yang dituju.
RNA sequencing (RNA-seq), a next-generation sequencing technique for transcriptome profiling, is being increasingly used, in part driven by the decreasing cost of sequencing. Nevertheless, the ...analysis of the massive amounts of data generated by large-scale RNA-seq remains a challenge. Multiple algorithms pertinent to basic analyses have been developed, and there is an increasing need to automate the use of these tools so as to obtain results in an efficient and user friendly manner. Increased automation and improved visualization of the results will help make the results and findings of the analyses readily available to experimental scientists.
By combing the best open source tools developed for RNA-seq data analyses and the most advanced web 2.0 technologies, we have implemented QuickRNASeq, a pipeline for large-scale RNA-seq data analyses and visualization. The QuickRNASeq workflow consists of three main steps. In Step #1, each individual sample is processed, including mapping RNA-seq reads to a reference genome, counting the numbers of mapped reads, quality control of the aligned reads, and SNP (single nucleotide polymorphism) calling. Step #1 is computationally intensive, and can be processed in parallel. In Step #2, the results from individual samples are merged, and an integrated and interactive project report is generated. All analyses results in the report are accessible via a single HTML entry webpage. Step #3 is the data interpretation and presentation step. The rich visualization features implemented here allow end users to interactively explore the results of RNA-seq data analyses, and to gain more insights into RNA-seq datasets. In addition, we used a real world dataset to demonstrate the simplicity and efficiency of QuickRNASeq in RNA-seq data analyses and interactive visualizations. The seamless integration of automated capabilites with interactive visualizations in QuickRNASeq is not available in other published RNA-seq pipelines.
The high degree of automation and interactivity in QuickRNASeq leads to a substantial reduction in the time and effort required prior to further downstream analyses and interpretation of the analyses findings. QuickRNASeq advances primary RNA-seq data analyses to the next level of automation, and is mature for public release and adoption.
This article covers the work done for the Digital Hill project of the Alexander von Humboldt Chair of Digital Humanities at Leipzig University. After a short introduction about the book on which the ...project is based and the arrangement of the chosen chapter in this book the goals of the project are presented, which are the creation of EpiDoc TEI compatible XML files for the sources, the production of treebank annotations and text alignments and the provision of the results on a web page. The paragraphs concerning treebank annotations and text alignments present working with the interfaces of Arethusa and Alpheios in the Perseids platform. Users can interact with the web page. For that reason jQuery scripts have been written, whose functionality is explained in the visualization paragraph. Some issues on the creation of the EpiDoc files are presented there as well as the applied solutions.
Someone can be said to have the ability to handle damage to the Panasonic NS1000 PABX device and perform a configuration of at least 3 years or already have a certificate of competence and training. ...The problem to be investigated is the number of experts there is only one and can only identify 5 damage per day and 1 day there are 25 damage. PABX Panasonic NS1000 has 30 rules and 130 data symptoms of damage as its knowledge base. This Expert System is designed to identify damage to PABX Panasonic NS1000 mobile application-based applications using the A * (A star) pathfinding algorithm and the forward chaining method with the PHP (Jquery Mobile) programming language and the database using MySQL, as an application program used by PT. Mediatama Anugrah Citra to facilitate the process of troubleshooting and effective problem solving on target. The features in this expert system include the identification of problems, the identification process, up to the achievement of the goal state and solutions effectively, quickly and precisely, the user as the user or admin has its own login and access rights in identifying, entry and editing. In the programming case testing process it can be seen that the application of the A * Pathfinding algorithm with the heuristic function has proven ineffectively implemented in the expert system and the results of the UAT testing process, the respondents agree (above 91.23%) that overall the expert system helps the expert and can deduce damage to PABX devices correctly.

The web has significantly affected all parts of every one of our students. As our students depend increasingly on the web, the constancy of web applications has turned out to be progressively ...critical. To make these applications more tried and true, we will make a web application with respect to placement training. In general we have Indiabix and placement season are providing a wide range of both technical and aptitude questions in order to prepare a student for the placement. But somehow those questions are repeatedly asked are the standard questions are given. To improve this situation, in this paper, we propose a model of a web application. This structure utilizes the offline application capacity with all the questions are put away in the database and the questions will be refreshed progressively on a period premise with the assistance of the placement coordinator in the college. Every student can sign up and practice all the questions that are provided with respect to the subjects.
