This article contains the result of the theoretical and empirical study of personality and situational factors of laziness among young people and the presence of gender differences in the concept of ...laziness.
Laziness is synonymous with a lack of motivation, unwillingness to do anything. Situational laziness is more of a temporary nature of the lack of desire to do something. Personal laziness is a set of determined human characteristics that attend it throughout life.
Analysis of the results of self-assessment of laziness found that only 20% of respondents consider themselves to be a lazy person, while the other 80% consider themselves as hardworking.
The most important personal determinant of laziness (in 83% of persons) were features of physical and psychological state. Namely: tiredness, desire to rest, drowsiness, no mood, the poor state of feeling, boredom, etc. Other determinants such as lack of opportunities, lack of interest, external pressure are less important and cause personal laziness in single cases.
The personal and situational determinants of the laziness that have been investigated have different nature and manifestations. We believe that the features of the body condition can not be included in the group of personal determinants of laziness.
Opportunity deficits (lack of perseverance, lack of skills and time, difficult task, other distracting problems) can be attributed to the personal determinants of laziness.
Areas of maximum demonstration of laziness are (in descending order): professional (educational) activities, household chores, cases under pressure, and lack cases.
Based on the analysis of the results of the study of self-regulation of laziness, we can speak about differences in the concept of laziness between men and women."Male laziness" is perceived as a feeling of unwillingness, apathy, inaction, and focused on the inner world and feelings. "Female laziness" is conditioned by the situation. More demonstrated as outward orientation, responsibility, feelings of guilt.
Based on the results, it is planned to develop a program of correctional work based on a differentiated approach to people, taking into account factors that influence the manifestation of laziness.
Introduction Organizational procrastination is a prevalent negative behavior among employees in all types of organizations. Despite its detrimental impact on organizational performance, it has been ...largely overlooked in management research. Procrastination is the intentional delay of actions despite awareness of the negative consequences, often resulting in decreased employee performance. Employees' procrastination can lead to a lack of motivation to engage in team tasks, work avoidance, rationalization, and making excuses for not completing assignments. These individuals often allocate insufficient time for substantial activities, leading to rushed and incomplete work and ultimately diminishing work quality. Procrastinators experience a form of self-restraint and avoidance, desiring to complete tasks but failing to follow through to completion. This phenomenon has affected the work of millions of employees and significantly impacts organizational effectiveness and productivity. Therefore, it is crucial to address and identify the factors influencing organizational procrastination. Previous research in this field has indicated a notable increase in employee procrastination, which can significantly diminish organizational effectiveness. However, this variable has been overlooked in many organizations, including Payam-e Noor University. It is essential for management researchers to consider the possibility of procrastination among university employees. Given the adverse effects of procrastination within the university, it is crucial to investigate and identify the contributing factors. Furthermore, a review of past studies reveals a lack of exploration into the roles of mobile dependence, organizational laziness, and cyberloafing in organizational procrastination among employees. Therefore, this research aimed to examine the relationship between mobile addiction and organizational laziness with organizational procrastination, while considering the mediating role of cyberloafing among employees of Payam-e Noor University in Kermanshah Province. Materials and Methods This research employed a purposive approach and utilized a correlational descriptive method, specifically employing the structural equation modeling. The statistical population comprised 250 employees from Payam-e Noor universities in Kermanshah Province with a sample of 160 individuals selected according to Morgan's table using the available sampling method. Data collection involved the use of Safarinia and Amirkhani's organizational procrastination questionnaire (2013) consisting of 25 questions, the cyberloafing skew questionnaire (2014) comprising 14 questions, the grounded organizational laziness questionnaire (2013) containing 20 questions, and the mobile addiction questionnaire by Hyun Yong Ko (2008) with 20 questions. Discussion of Results and Conclusion Among the respondents, 137 were male and 23 were female. The data analysis revealed several significant findings: mobile dependence exhibited a positive and direct impact on organizational procrastination, organizational laziness had a positive and direct effect on organizational procrastination, and cyberloafing also demonstrated a positive and direct effect on organizational procrastination. Additionally, mobile dependence and cyberloafing were found to have a positive and direct relationship, while mobile dependence indirectly influenced organizational procrastination through the mediating role of cyberloafing. Similarly, organizational laziness indirectly affected organizational procrastination through the mediating role of cyberloafing. Furthermore, the mediating role of cyberloafing in the relationship between mobile dependence, organizational laziness, and procrastination was found to be significant. The model fit assessment indicated a relatively strong and appropriate fit for the model. These results underscore the meaningful implications for organizational practices.
Laziness is taboo, yet this paper is a manifesto for the lazy and I its author count myself as one of that otherwise nondescript rabble. Laziness is not something to be proud of or to proclaim ...publicly without embarrassment. 'Otiose', a word that originally meant leisure, has come to mean of no practical benefit, as if leisure is not practically beneficial as such. Yet like a taboo or a ghost, its non-existence still haunts us, and this essay seeks to trace its wilful outline by means of certain similarities in shape and form or isomorphisms that relate otherwise distinct phenomena. Outlining that isomorphism is akin to drawing the chalk outline of a body in a murder scene without the body - only by the signature of that body.
Linear type systems have a long and storied history, but not a clear path forward to integrate with existing languages such as OCaml or Haskell. In this paper, we study a linear type system designed ...with two crucial properties in mind: backwards-compatibility and code reuse across linear and non-linear users of a library. Only then can the benefits of linear types permeate conventional functional programming. Rather than bifurcate types into linear and non-linear counterparts, we instead attach linearity to
function arrows
. Linear functions can receive inputs from linearly-bound values, but can
also
operate over unrestricted, regular values.
To demonstrate the efficacy of our linear type system — both how easy it can be integrated in an existing language implementation and how streamlined it makes it to write programs with linear types — we implemented our type system in ghc, the leading Haskell compiler, and demonstrate two kinds of applications of linear types: mutable data with pure interfaces; and enforcing protocols in I/O-performing functions.
When people cannot find good work, can they still find good lives? By investigating this question in the context of South Africa, where only 43 percent of adults are employed, Christine Jeske invites ...readers to examine their own assumptions about how work and the good life do or do not coincide. The Laziness Myth challenges the widespread premise that hard work determines success by tracing the titular "laziness myth, " a persistent narrative that disguises the systems and structures that produce inequalities while blaming unemployment and other social ills on the so-called laziness of particular class, racial, and ethnic groups. Jeske offers evidence of the laziness myth's harsh consequences, as well as insights into how to challenge it with other South African narratives of a good life. In contexts as diverse as rapping in a library, manufacturing leather shoes, weed-whacking neighbors' yards, negotiating marriage plans, and sharing water taps, the people described in this book will stimulate discussion on creative possibilities for seeking the good life in and out of employment, in South Africa and elsewhere.
Hustling is considered almost an obligation of the modern-day rapper, who is supposed to monetize his talent, while also remaining true to himself and his roots. Being a hustler or just achieving the ...status of one is desirable for modern-day rappers, as it validates their position in their social group. The voices that stand out are therefore those belonging to rappers who chose to go a different route and instead of bragging about their riches, prefer to present themselves as slackers, who are more concerned with the comfort of ‘laziness’ provided by their lyrical talents. As a case study I have selected a well-known rapper, Redman (1970), who is respected in the hip-hop community and has enjoyed some mainstream success, yet never commodified his image. He is one of the few rappers whose authenticity is never disputed, and in this article I want to argue that the main reason behind his special status is the laziness he projects through his lyrics as well as visual representations of his rap persona: the MTV Cribs episode, his role as Jamal in the 2001 movie How High, and the fictionalized version of himself in the short-lived Method & Red TV series.

The article was devoted to research on the creation of a bread recipe using flaxseed products. In order to increase the nutritional and biological value of dietary bread from rye flour, flax seeds ...are used, which belong to natural raw materials. Flax seeds are a source of the main functional food ingredients and biologically active substances that have a beneficial effect on the human body. Therefore, the influence of flax seed products on the quality of dough and finished products for obtaining loaves with high nutritional value was investigated. To increase the nutritional and biological value of the loaves, a whole-grain mixture of flax seeds was added in a dosage of 5-20% and 0.3-0.5% dietary fiber from rice husks and a starter culture with the addition of an infusion of flax seeds instead of pressed yeast. As a result of the conducted studies, the optimal option was chosen for the production of dietary snacks with the addition of 10% whole-grain mixture of flaxseed and 0.5% dietary fiber. The content of nutrients in the resulting product has increased, increasing the nutritional and biological value of the loaves. The developed products had high nutritional value and good quality, which allows them to be used in dietary nutrition.
