Introduction. In the last decade, we are witnessing a transformation in the dynamics of the development of human morpho-functional structures, influenced by the socio-economic system. Among the ...harmful factors of contemporary civilization we list the lack of physical exercise as well as the inadequate diet. We start from the premise that by practicing constant physical activities we can demonstrate the influence of the morphological status of the adults under study. The aim of this work is to analyse some body composition parameters of adults who are moderately physically active. Results. The objectives of the study are: to identify how subjects practice physical activity, to raise awareness of the importance of the effects of physical exercise on health, to analyse and interpret the data recorded on body composition parameters using the Tanita apparatus. Conclusions: The practice of constant activities on adults leads to beneficial morpho-functional changes in the body, giving it a capacity to adapt to effort and increased resistance to pathogenic factors.

•Slope, region and dominant floodplain substrate mainly drive ground beetles.•The actual species composition is co-determined by the morphological status.•For slope, region and substrate, 52 out of ...177 indicators are Bembidion species.•We identified 112 indicators for near-natural, 13 for restored conditions.•Specialised floodplain species disappear in morphologically degraded sites.
Floodplains are inhabited by diverse and abundant ground beetle assemblages that are adapted to the frequently changing habitat conditions. While there have been many studies on the composition of riparian ground beetle communities in individual floodplains, the general patterns responsible for their composition remained obscure. We used data on 352 ground beetle samples taken at 224 sites along rivers and their floodplains in Germany to analyse how natural large-scale descriptors and floodplain morphological status (near-natural vs. degraded vs. restored sites) determine the composition of ground beetle assemblages. For each site we compiled data on region, slope and dominant floodplain substrate, and on floodplain morphological status (near-natural, degraded or restored conditions). Hierarchical clustering revealed eight main clades and a clear hierarchy of parameters, with floodplain slope being responsible for the two main clades, followed by ‘region’ and ‘dominant floodplain substrate’ that structure the second and third orders of division. Some of the third-order clades are exclusively or predominantly composed of near-natural or restored sites, indicating that sites of high morphological status are inhabit by a distinct ground beetle community in a given region. Indicator species analysis resulted in indicators for all regions (132 indicators species) and slope (122 indicator species) categories and for almost all classes of dominant floodplain substrate (117 indicator species). Most of the indicator species with high predictive values and sensitivities belong to the genus Bembidion. For the morphological status categories, we identified 126 indicator species in total: 112 related to near-natural conditions, 13 for restored sites and only a single species for degraded conditions. Our results underline that slope, region and dominant floodplain substrate are among the main natural drivers of riparian ground beetle community composition and the suitability of ground beetles to indicate degradation and restoration processes.
Nowadays it is generally lived in conditions of rapid pace, poor quality and unhealthy nutrition, reduced or insufficient movement, in a word hypokinetic lifestyle. Consequences of hypokinesia are ...many, and refer mainly to diseases of the cardiovascular system, the respiratory system, and the occurrence of diabetes. In addition, it can also be stated and the uneven growth and development of the individual leading to the negative trend of the development of some anthropometric characteristics and also to the morphological status of the individual. This research is dealing with the analysis of students of Physical Education and Sports. For the estimation of the morphological space was applied: Lorentz constitutional index (LKI), Muscle index (MI%), Body Mass Index (BMI kg/m super(2)). The results showed that it is to low but positive a tendency of the stronger development of bone and muscle tissues of students, where the mean value of LKI is (Mean=1,50), muscle index MI (Mean = 10,64%), that is they are in the upper limit of the middle development musculature. The average BMI values of students (Mean=23,60kg/m super(2)) is also an indicator that this population increases the value defined by BMI, whose value is in the upper limit of normal body weight. These values BMI fully correspond to the values that were realized in the LKI and MI.Original Abstract: Danas je opcenito zivi u uvjetima brzog ritma, lose kvalitete i nezdrave prehrane, smanjenog ili nedovoljnog kretanja, jednom rijecju hipokineticki lifestyle.
Topicality. As many experts note, the processes of growth and development are biological properties of living matter. Human growth and development is a continuous progressive process that takes place ...throughout all life. Due to this, development occurs abruptly; thus, the difference between its individual stages or life periods presupposes not only quantitative, but also qualitative changes. Signs of physical development change under the influence of inherited features as well as under the influence of a complex set of social and demographic conditions. The task of the study is to determine morphometric parameters of almost healthy children, aged 6–8 years. The results of the research have found out that the average length and weight of boys’ and girls’ body naturally increase with age. This increase is continuous, although uneven. During the study period of ontogenesis, boys' body length increased by an average of11 cm, and girls by8.7 cm respectively. At the same time, body weight of both boys and girls has increased by an average of4.8 kg. Analysis of the data shows that in terms of length and body weight there are no statistically significant differences (p> 0.05) between boys and girls of all age groups within 6-8 year period. Conclusion. The analysis of a huge scope of scientific findings allows us to state that at a choice of control influences, development of prognostic models applied for estimation of children’s motility it is necessary to consider peculiarities of application of numerous means, methods and forms of physical training arrangements in various age periods as far as they can vary in one age period, depend on hereditary factors, environmental conditions and a number of other indicators. In our opinion, among the applied problems, the solution of which can be influenced by the results of this study the following should be mentioned, i.e. correction of motility disorders for 6–8 year-old children by means of modern biomechanical technologies.
A very common way of assessing the state of physical abilities is to determine on the basis of diagnostic tests, and they give us the necessary information when it comes to general skills defined ...population. This evaluation is usually performed diagnostic tests in the laboratory. However, reliable data are available on the performance of some field tests. Depending on field conditions, very often is done using estimates of general ability test, 2km walking UKK. To perform this test shall include data on body height, weight, BMI-in, values, heart rate, time walking. Based on the formula and application of these data are obtained fitness value of the index by which to define the overall physical condition of patients. Also based on the formula to obtain indicators on maximum oxygen consumption. The study comprised third-year students East Sarajevo, who held classes in subjects walking sports athletics, in order to determine their state of physical fitness index based on fitness.
In model of athropological dimensions for successfully persuing of top-level sport, there are some dimensions in which evaluation coches can not make mistake in process of selection. That especially ...stand for morphological characteristics in women sport gymnastics. World Gymnastic Federation (FIG) recomended specific indicators of morphological status of boys and girls to prevent that factor of body constituion should not be limited factor for progres in sport gymnastics. The question is how many children in specific region are appropriate with mentioned morphological model, when future top-level results is planed? Another question is, are the morphological characteristics and postural status of some population limited factor which make that some region is „condemned“ on much harder way to succes in sport gymnastics? Morphological and postural status was evaluated on the sample of i.e. 412 girls 6-8 years old of the region of Vojvodina, and compared to recomended standards of World gymnastic Federation (FIG). The aim of this research was to analize selection base for woman sport gymnastics in Vojvodina as important factor of development of that sport, by aspect of morphological and postural status.
With the aim of determining the connection between the indicators of body posture and latent structure of morphological variables in children aged 7 and 8 years, first and second grade of primary ...school, a set of 17 morphological measures and 12 body posture indicators were longitudinally applied to a sample of 110 boys and 114 girls. The latent structure of morphological variables in both sexes was defined by three factors but at a different order of significance: in boys, the order was longitudinal dimensionality, voluminosity, mass and subcutaneous fat tissue and transverse dimensionality, whereas in girls the order was voluminosity, mass and subcutaneous fat tissue, longitudinal dimensionality and transverse dimensionality. The latent structure of torax body posture indicator was defined by two factors, the status of body posture of the rear part of the thorax, and status of the body posture of the front part of the thorax. The results obtained by canonical correlation analysis between predictive variables, morphological latent structure and criterion variables, latent structure of thorax body posture indicators with two posture indicators of the chest and one of the foot status, showed two important pairs of canonical roots on each measurement, suggesting a significant association between these two sets of parameters.
Results of the analysis of morphological status of cadets and pilots of the Croatian Air Force are presented, in relation to the morphological status of a sample of conscripts of the Croatian Army. ...The results of the morphological status of body built of the flier potential of the Croatian Air Force, i.e., the potential (cadets) and active fliers (pilots), suggest a process of spontaneous (or possibly systematic) selection of flier candidates based on anthropometric criteria. Based on the obtained anthropometric data, it may be concluded that persons who choose to candidate for and are selected to join the Croatian Air Force as pilots, are of specific personal appearance and body built.
