Prispevek obravnava interpretacijo dediščine z uporabo mitov in pravljic. Besedilo je razdeljeno na dva dela, prvi del, posvečen interpretaciji, je bil objavljen v prejšnji številki revije. Drugi del ...je posvečen mitom in pravljicam kot sredstvu interpretacije. Miti veljajo za prvobitno obliko razlage sveta. Članek obravnava njihovo družbeno vlogo v preteklih družbah in pojasnjuje njihovo temeljno vlogo v psihosocialni strukturi človeka. S kulturno-zgodovinskim pristopom je orisana njihova primordialna vloga. Mitološke zgodbe so služile kot razlaga kozmosa, reda in zakonov, vzpostavljale so moralno in etično podlago sobivanja skupnosti. Filozofski in psihoanalitični pristop izpostavljata terapevtski naboj narativnega blaga. Obravnavana je arhetipska in transcendentna narava mita ter utemeljen njegov odsev v fluidnih pomenih materialne kulture. Miti in pravljice so del kulturnega in zgodovinskega izročila ter kot rdeča nit povezujejo sodobnost s preteklostjo. Miti in pravljice imajo v procesih interpretacije vlogo semantičnega sistema, ki olajšuje integracijo dediščine časovno in kulturno oddaljenih obdobij v sodobnost. Pripovedovanje zgodb razpira dialoški prostor in spodbuja javnost k aktivnemu sodelovanju. Raziskava je interdisciplinarna, temelji na heritologiji, hermenevtiki, psihoanalizi, mitoloških in kulturnozgodovinskih študijah.

This book (‘Type Index of Slovenian Folktales – Animal Tales and Fables’) is the first of the comprehensive body of systematization of Slovenian folktales along the lines of the latest, revised ...edition of the Types of International Folk Tales by Hans-Jörg Uther (2004). It includes Slovenian animal tales and fables that have been listed among the first 299 numbers of the international classification system. It contains archaic, internationally comparable material which was previously difficult to access and is now published for the first time in a comprehensive and systematic form. With the transfer of the latest scientific results to the Slovenian research sphere~additional studies and comments~and the application of the international classification system for the classification of material it greatly facilitates further development of the discipline while simultaneously including the Slovenian narrative tradition in a broader international context. Since each folktale type includes examples of folktales the book will also attract the attention of the general public.
Raziskava predstavlja primerjalno analizo zbirke nemških pravljic Jakoba in Wilhelma Grimma Otroške in hišne pravljice (1812, 2006), romanske pravljice (novo odkritje ameriškega znanstvenika Jacka ...Sipesa), ki jih je zbrala Laura Gonzenbach v zbirki Lepa Angiola (1870, 2006) in zbirka Slovenske pravljice (2002). Primerjalna naliza istega motiva temelji na strukturalistični teoriji znanstvenika Vladimirja Proppa Morfologija pravljice (1928, 2006), folkloristični teoriji motivov ameriškega folklorista Stitha Thompsona Motif-index of folk literature (1989), literarni teoriji švicarskega znanstvenika Maxa Lüthija The European Folktales: Form and Nature (1947, 1986), psihoanalitično teorijo Bruna Bettelheima (Rabe čudežnega, 2001), sociološko teorijo Jacka Siepsa (Why fairy tales stick?, 2006), feministično teorijo Clarisse Pinkola Estés (Ženske, ki tečejo z volkovi, 2001) in poststrukturalistično teorijo Marie Nikolajeve (Fairy Tale and Fantasy, 2003). Primerjalna analiza splošnih podobnosti in razlik evropskih pravljic se bo osredotočila na študij primera na motivu živalskega ženina oz. živalske neveste v vseh treh zbirkah pravljic. Izsledki primerjalne analize motiva bodo predstavili tudi primerjalno analizo podobnosti in razlik med germansko, romansko in slovansko inačico pravljice. Izsledki primerjalne analize bodo predstavljeni na koncu raziskave.
This translation of the book ('The Historical Roots of Magic Tale') written by one of the most prominent Russian folklorists of the 20th century Vladimir Yakovlevich Propp, presents one more ...classical work of anthropological and folkloristical science to Slovenian researchers. The theoretical starting-points which Propp concived in his book “Morphology of the Folktale” was in this work projected on concrete material – on Russian and European folktales. By comparing folktale motifs with actual historical and anthropological sources he substantiated his structuralistical and ritualistical theoties in folk narrative research and folkloristics.
