U ovoj studiji proučavan je uticaj MgO u obliku fluksa oliviną na mineralogiju peleta sa niskim i visokim sadržajem glinice kao i na kvalitet peleta. Sirovi pelet je pripremljen variranjem sadržaja ...MgO od 0 do 1,5% sa baznošéu (CaO/SiO) od 0,30. Pelet je testiran na svojstva sirovih peleta, čvrstoću na hladno drobljenje (CCS) i indeks redukcione degradacije (RDI), i pečen je na temperaturama između 1300 i 1320 °C. Optički mikroskop sa analizatorom slike, SEM-EDS, korišćen je za procenu mineraloških faza prisutnih u peletu i hemijsku analizu mineraloških faza, pojedinačno. Laboratorijski testovi su pokazali da se povećanjem dodatka MgO u peletu sa niskim i visokim sadržajem glinice povećavaju faze rasta magnezijumferita i silikata i smanjuju poroznost i hematitne faze. Do smanjenja poroznosti došlo je zbog povećanja formiranja silikatnog rastopa iz silicijum dioksida u olivinu. Sa povećanjem dodatka MgO, CCS vrednost peleta je porasla do sadržaja MgO od 0,9 do 1,1%. Nakon toga, CCS vrednost peleta se smanjila sa povečanjem dodatka MgO kako za pelete sa niskim tako i za one visokim sadržajem glinice. Pri sadržaju MgO od 0,9 do l,l%o, vrednost CCS je bila viša zbog formiranja magnezijum-feritne faze niske tačke topljenja, što je peletu dalo čvrstoću. Za pelet sa nivoom MgO >1,1, RDI je bio unutar kontrolne granice za pelete i sa niskim i sa visokim sadržajem glinice. Do ovoga možda dolazi zbog smanjenja poroznosti peleta i bolje distribucije faze rastapanja silikata. Peleti sa niskim sadržajem glinice su pokazali bolje fizičke i metalurške osobine u poređenju sa peletima sa visokim sadržajem glinice.
Research repeatedly shows that women are frequent targets of sexual harassment in public, ranging from catcalls to sexual assault. However, we know very little about the impacts of less obviously ...gendered rude behavior. Using nationally representative survey data from Australia (
N
= 1621), we investigated gender differences in the experience of generic public incivilities such as tailgating, pushing in crowded spaces, and yelling or cursing. We employed a series of logistic regression models to assess the relationship between gender and stranger incivility and to adjust for key demographic and event attributes. Results demonstrated that women were significantly more likely to report recent experiences of public incivility than were men and that women were significantly more likely to report negative impacts on their emotional well-being, particularly when the rude stranger was a man. Findings also showed that women were significantly more likely than were men to report limiting their use of public places as a result of experiencing public incivility. Much like sexual harassment, generic forms of uncivil behavior exact a gender-specific tax on women’s access to public places, compromising women’s capacity to fully engage in the public sphere. Implications for research and policy are discussed.
In the scope of this research, the petrographic and geochemical analyses of clastic sedimentary rocks from the St. Barbara, copper and iron ore mine in Rude near Samobor, have been made, aiming to ...classify and determine the provenance and environment of formation of clastic sedimentary rocks, as well as the influence of hydrothermal fluids on their properties. Eight samples were collected in total from different locations in the mine. Six of those samples have been studied in detail. The results showed structural and geochemical variability and uneven hydrothermal alteration intensity in the samples. Based on petrographic analyses, three rocks are classified as sublithoarenite, quartz arenite and quartz greywacke. Three of the samples are classified as ore breccia, ore sandstone, and ore silt-sandstone due to the pronounced hydrothermal alterations and ore mineralisation. Comprehensively, petrographic and geochemical analyses indicate that the source rocks of the investigated clastic sedimentary rocks were felsic (La/Sc = 0.9-6.2; Th/Sc = 1.3-2.4), most probably sedimentary, possibly resedimented rocks. The extent of source rock weathering was very high (Chemical Index of Alteration CIA = 52.1 - 81.3 %) and the geotectonic position of the sedimentary basin was very likely to be at the passive continental margin.
Each culture has its own reference systems when creating swear words, which makes its translation really challenging. This article addresses the problem of translating this type of language and ...focuses on the various translation possibilities available to achieve functional equivalence by focusing on a specific case, the series Rick and Morty. The results of the analysis show that although the nature of swear words in English and Spanish is different, it is possible to translate them without altering the register of the original and transmitting the same feelings.
Cada cultura tiene sus propios sistemas de referencia a la hora de crear lenguaje soez, lo que hace que su traducción sea todo un reto. El presente artículo aborda la problemática de traducir este tipo de lenguaje y se centra en las diversas posibilidades de traducción existentes para lograr una equivalencia funcional a partir del estudio de un caso concreto, la serie Rick y Morty. Los resultados del análisis muestran que a pesar de que la naturaleza de los términos soeces en inglés y español sea diferente, resulta posible traducirlos sin alterar el registro del original y transmitir la misma carga emocional
A new pericarbonyl lignan (1), named amaurolignan A was isolated from an ethanol extract of the fruiting bodies in Amauroderma rude of family Ganodermataceae, together with two known lignans, ...4-methoxymatairesinol 4′-β-D-glucoside (2) and lappaol F (3). The structures of compounds (1-3) were elucidated using NMR and MS spectroscopic methods.
The paper is aimed at personal names (anthroponyms) in newspaper reports on Rudolf Slánský’s staged trial, which was held against the leaders of the Communist Party of Czechoslovakia – mostly of the ...Jewish origin – who were “uncovered” as political enemies; the trial took place in an anti-Semitic atmosphere. The examined texts were published in the period of November 21−28, 1952, in Rudé právo, the main newspaper of the Communist Party of Czechoslovakia. Proper names, mostly personal names, are analysed from several perspectives. The quantitative analysis is focused on the keywords of the studied texts and typical collocations of the names. The qualitative analysis, developing the quantitatively researched data, is aimed at the image of enemy or traitor and its presentation via thematization of personal names. The ways of language presentation of the Jewish origin of the accused are in the scope of the contribution as well. Within the scope of collocation analysis, the newspaper texts on the trial were contrasted with the ones published by Rudé právo on the occasion of Rudolf Slánskýʼs 50th birthday (July 31, 1951).
This article theorizes and performs an analytic and evocative autoethnography about participation in the Rude Boy subculture in Singapore in the 2000s. Relying on critical pedagogy and a performative ...conception of subcultural theory, we analyze the second author’s past self as a Rude Boy through a collaborative narrative that emerged out of a university course–based research project on youth subcultures. Our narrative, which includes the reproduction of field notes, reflective journals, interviews, and dialogue between the authors, is intended to simultaneously question the assumed dichotomy between analytic and evocative autoethnographic forms and to highlight the potential for a critical pedagogy that brings teachers and students together to create new understandings of the self. The article also highlights the personal and pedagogical outcomes of dealing academically with a subcultural past and extends a dialogic approach to studying subcultural participation and experience.
