die Rede? Israel scheint dabei erfolgreich zu sein, technologische Innovation und risikofreudige Unternehmer:innen zu fördern. Die Start-up Nation hat ihre Entstehung nicht nur der umfangreichen staatlichen Unterstützung seit den 1960er Jahren zu verdanken, sondern auch dem enthusiastischen Engagement ihrer unternehmerischen Soldat:innen. In Anlehnung an Joseph A. Schumpeters Theorie der wirtschaftlichen Entwicklung wurde die Unternehmerfunktion als die interne treibende Kraft im Kapitalismus identifiziert. Die Motivation für wirtschaftliches Unternehmertum ist für das System als solches unersetzlich und liegt im Kern seiner bürgerlichen Familie. Der vorliegende Beitrag offenbart anhand biographisch-narrativer Interviews mit ehemaligen Soldat:innen aus militärisch-technologischen Spitzeneinheiten – die einen erfolgreichen unternehmerischen Werdegang heutzutage vorweisen –, fünf Grundzüge für die Motivationsgrundlage in der Start-up Nation: Heimatsverteidigung, Risikofreude, Geheimhaltung und gruppeninterne Anerkennung, Reproduktion der militärischen Einheit und die
. Denn in Israel hat sich im Zuge der Globalisierung und nach neoliberalem Vorbild ein spezifischer Modus der Erzeugung von Unternehmertum und Motivierung ihrer Träger etabliert. Dabei wurde ersichtlich, dass ihre Sozialisation in den Einheiten und die permanente Bedrohungslage im Land die spätere Laufbahn als digitale Unternehmer:innen maßgeblich prägen.

Les start-ups et les PME innovantes au Maroc sont confrontées à des problèmes et contraintes de financement qui ne sont pas adaptés à leur spécificité et besoin. Or, un grand nombre de start-up qui ...disposent d’un très haut potentiel de croissance ne bénéficient malheureusement que d’un accompagnement financier faible qui n’est pas capable de répondre à leurs besoins en financement à chaque étape de leur développement au cours de leur cycle de vie. Cependant, plusieurs d’entre elles périssent augmentant le taux de chômage. L’objectif de cette recherche est d’apporter une contribution à la compréhension du processus d’appropriation des nouvelles PME et start-up et à trouver des solutions pour leur problème de survie.

The author served as the 8th and 9th term president of the Japan Society for Intellectual Production. The activities and challenges of the society during that time will be discussed, as well as ...future prospects based on the insights gained from them. Furthermore, we will outline the history of individual industry-academia collaboration activities, activities aimed at establishing a regional innovation ecosystem, and university management. Finally, I will explain the corporate integration and university reorganization that the author is involved in, focusing on the significance of university reorganization, although this is still a work in progress.
Academia, such as universities and public research institutions, does not have the ability to commercialize research results. Therefore, in order to generate innovation based on the research results ...generated there, it is necessary to either transfer the research results to industry or establish a start-up company to commercialize the results. According to previous research, the research results from academia are more suitable for establishing a start-up company than for technology transfer due to their feature. On the other hand, in order to establish a start-up company, funds are required to acquire various resources, but it is difficult for a start-up company that utilizes academic research results to obtain funds.This study analyzed four projects in which academia and venture capital collaborated to validate the establishment of start-up companies that utilize the results of academia's research. The process for obtaining proof of concept was used as a framework in the analysis. The results of the analysis confirm that the collaboration between academia and venture capital to implement projects can resolve information asymmetry and uncertainty, and has an impact on the establishment and funding of the start-up company.
In diesem Open-Access-Buch wird ein Rahmenwerk entwickelt, das simulationsbezogene Untersuchungen von Effetcuation ermöglicht und gleichzeitig die Grundlage für die Entwicklung von ...gründungsunterstützenden Entscheidungssystemen schafft. Es wird diskutiert, inwieweit effektuatives Lernen modelliert und algorithmisch interpretiert werden kann. Auf Basis der Vorstellung und kritischen Evaluierung aktueller Simulationsmodelle, die Effectuation abbilden, wird mit Hilfe von Methoden agentenbasierter Modellierung und des Reinforcement Learnings ein aggregiertes Modell entwickelt, das effektuatives Verhalten im Rahmen einer prototypischen Gründungssituation ermöglicht. Die Ergebnisse zeigen, dass ein entrepreneurialer Agent in der Lage ist, effektuatives Verhalten zu erlernen. Leistungsunterschiede während des Lernens ergeben sich bei Veränderung seiner Umgebung. Der Erfolg des Agenten ist abhängig von der Verbindlichkeit potentieller Partner und Kunden. Weiterhin lässt sich ein Lernerfolg feststellen, wenn der Agent das Affordable-Loss-Prinzip in Verbindung mit marktkonformem Verhalten anwendet. Mit dem entwickelten Modell können künftig, unter Einbeziehung des Entscheidungsverhaltens eines realen Entrepreneurs, weitere Untersuchungen zum effektuativen Lernverhalten durchgeführt werden.
The aim of this paper is to clarify the status of business start-ups and their finance. By comparing five samples of start-up firms obtained from four surveys, we find differences in the types of ...start-up firms and in their financing of initial funds. In particular, although most start-up firms depend on personal funds of the founders, there are differences in the degree of the dependence and in the manner they use other sources of finance. We also find that firms facing financial constraints are minority, but the ratios of such firms differ across the samples. We detail these and other findings and derive policy implications to deal with challenges in business start-ups in Japan.
