In order to effectively play the positive role of the new generation of miners in the safety management of coal mining enterprises, based on the behavioral motivation theory and social exchange ...theory, we construct the structural equation model of job satisfaction, subjective well-being, job involvement and safety performance of the new generation of miners. Hierarchical regression and Bootstrap method were used to test the direct effect and mediation effect of 256 samples data of new generation miners. The results show that the job satisfaction, subjective well-being, job involvement and safety performance of the new generation of miners are positively correlated; job satisfaction can indirectly affect safety performance through two paths: the independent mediating role of subjective well-being, job involvement and the chain mediating role of them.
RESUMO A pandemia da Covid-19 é um exemplo poderoso do modo como os nossos direitos são reconfigurados e, em especial, os direitos das crianças. Mobilizadas pela exigência de assegurar que, no ...contexto de crise pandémica, as vozes das crianças não ficassem invisíveis, foram desenvolvidas algumas estratégias de investigação que assumiram um caráter inovador, dadas as contingências decorrentes da situação de confinamento. Este texto visou à reflexão sobre os desafios éticos e metodológicos na pesquisa com crianças, atendendo ao quadro de pandemia e confinamento, repensando estratégias e o processo de construção de conhecimento com estas e acerca das suas vidas.
ABSTRACT The Covid-19 pandemic is a powerful example of how our rights and, in particular, children’s rights are reconfigured. In order to ensure that, in a pandemic context, children’s voices were not kept invisible, we developed some research strategies, which assumed an innovative character, given the contingencies resulting from the lockdown situation. This text aimed to reflect on the ethical and methodological challenges in research with children, taking into account the pandemic and confinement, rethinking strategies and the process of building knowledge with them and about their lives.
【Objective】 The purpose of this study was to find strategies to increase the intention rate of organ donation. We investigated the current status and characteristics of organ donation intention and ...their relation to health consciousness.【Design and Methods】 We conducted a cross-sectional survey of 660 patients visiting a university hospital in the metropolitan area. We determined their background, presence or absence of organ donation intention, and health consciousness (health literacy and subjective well-being). For statistical analysis, we used a stepwise method of variable selection, adjusted the confounding factors using propensity scores, and used logistic regression analysis to clarify the relation between organ donation intention and health consciousness.【Results】 Two hundred sixty-three questionnaires were returned (recovery rate 39.8%), of which 248 were used. The intention rate of organ donation was 22.6%. It was higher for non-elderly people (p=0.0002) and those with a medical history (p=0.0132). It was related to health literacy (p=0.0373) and critical health literacy (p=0.0049), which was a sub-item of health literacy.【Conclusion】 It is thought that high critical health literacy may have led to the skill to understand the social and economic significance of organ transplantation. Health literacy and critical health literacy must be increased to increase the intention rate of organ donation. It is important to make a visit to a university hospital a valuable opportunity. It is necessary for medical professionals to confirm the organ donation intention to give meaning to the social significance of organ donation, and to provide support to increase empowerment.
Objetivamos construir e analisar as propriedades psicométricas de um instrumento para avaliar a gratidão em formato de julgamento situacional. Após a análise de juízes e estudo piloto, houve a ...exclusão de 6 itens dos 15 elaborados inicialmente. No estudo de busca de evidência de validade por meio da estrutura interna participaram 514 pessoas, sendo 56% do sexo feminino, com idades entre 14 e 72 anos, que responderam à Escala de Gratidão, Escala de Afetos, Escala de Vitalidade e a Escala de Satisfação com a Vida. A análise fatorial exploratória indicou uma estrutura unidimensional composta por 9 itens. As mulheres apresentaram as maiores médias quando comparadas aos homens, tanto no julgamento como na autoavaliação da gratidão. A gratidão apresentou correlação, em sentido positivo com magnitude fraca, apenas com a vitalidade. Os dados indicaram evidências de validade com base no conteúdo do teste, consistência interna e na relação com variáveis externas para a Escala de Gratidão.
Este artigo aborda a problemática do envelhecimento com qualidade de vida e bem-estar, estudada no contexto de adultos portugueses que frequentam Universidades Seniores em Portugal. Pretende-se ...especificamente, numa análise exploratória, conhecer a perceção da auto-eficácia na compreensão do bem-estar e qualidade de vida destas pessoas, através do construto de bem-estar subjetivo (BES). Para o efeito, foi realizado um trabalho empírico de natureza não experimental correlacional, que abrangeu 214 alunos de 7 Universidades Seniores portuguesas, com idades compreendidas entre os 51 e 86 anos, média de 68,26 anos. Os dados foram recolhidos por questionário, através dos seguintes instrumentos: questionário sociodemográfico, Escala de Satisfação com a Vida (SWLS) e Escala de Afeto Positivo e de Afeto Negativo (PANAS) e Escalas PALADIN. Verificou-se nos principais resultados que a maioria das correlações encontradas são significativas, exceto no caso da auto-eficácia na área das finanças com a afetividade negativa. Estes resultados permitem corroborar que seniores mais ativos em termos das 5 áreas centrais da vida, consideradas neste estudo, apresentam níveis superiores de bem-estar.

This paper investigates empirically the effects of voluntary activities on subjective well-being. After controlling for individual fixed effects, we show that volunteering significantly improves people’s subjective well-being. The positive well-being effects of volunteering are highly heterogeneous, with larger impact at the lower end of the distribution of subjective well-being. Our dynamic analysis shows that the beneficial effects of volunteering are transitory. We find evidence of complete subjective well-being adaptation one year after volunteering. We show that more frequent socialisation, increasing satisfaction with feeling part of local community and rising satisfaction with neighbourhood living in are three channels for the contemporaneous positive linkage between volunteering and subjective well-being.
En la actualidad, los investigadores así como los políticos están interesados en analizar las diferentes dimensiones que componen el bienestar subjetivo de los niños y los adolescentes, grupos a los ...cuales se les ha prestado escasa atención si se lo compara con la literatura sobre la población adulta. En esta investigación, se analiza la comparabilidad intercultural de tres escalas de bienestar subjetivo, en estudiantes del primer curso de enseñanza secundaria en Brasil, Chile, España y Rumania. Las escalas multi-ítem muestran buen ajuste con los datos de las muestras agregadas, así como con los respectivos modelos multigrupo con cargas restringidas, avalando la comparabilidad de las correlaciones y regresiones entre las poblaciones. No obstante, los modelos no ajustan con cargas y constantes restringidas, sugiriendo que las medias no son comparables entre países. Así también los resultados muestran puntuaciones en el bienestar subjetivo más altas que las esperadas en poblaciones adultas occidentales. Los resultados del modelo de ecuaciones estructurales que incluye todas las escalas sugieren que las dos escalas por ámbitos participan de un mismo supraconstructo.
