Background. The purpose of the study is to develop a hybrid approach to manage the process of synthesizing optimal tourist routes, including a model and method of managing a tourism product that allows taking into account tourist preferences and restrictions along with various external factors. Materials and methods. The process of synthesizing alternative tourist routes is performed at the first stage using a modified ant colony algorithm. At the second stage, the Saaty hierarchy analysis method was used to select the optimal route from alternatives. Results. The authors have developed a hybrid approach to managing the process of synthesizing tourist routes in two ways. The first method takes into account the importance of the experience, preferences and limitations of a particular tourist when choosing sites and tourist sites along the route to visit at a particular point in time. The second method allows you to control the workload and number of tourists on route sections and tourist sites, as well as the tourist attractiveness of sites by changing the degree of importance of pheromone concentration when calculating the probability of choosing a site or visiting an object. Conclusions. The process of planning, designing and operating tourism products with the ability to manage the process of selecting sites and objects along travel routes in a sliding mode is implemented in a tourist recommendation system.
Tourist lines serviced by historic vehicles function in several cities. One of them is Wrocław (Poland) in which the current offer based on trams was extended with buses in 2021. In the article, an ...assessment of Wrocław Tourist Lines has been carried out regarding the tourist product and its development, while additionally determining its stage in the product life cycle. To this end, among other elements, data on the number of passengers and ticket sales have been used. After 13 years of existence, the offer has developed traits of a mature product, displaying fairly stable journey figures. However, it did not use the significant potential of the heritage public transport fleet in Wrocław to the full. That is why, in recent years, several changes have been introduced to the structure, marketing and pricing of the tourist product, which have improved journey frequencies and, even more importantly, increased the passenger rate per service. Therefore, it can be claimed that as a result of the actions undertaken, the product has entered a rejuvenation stage, but this process is still fairly unmarked. The main disadvantage of the product is its marketing and the way the offer is communicated to potential passengers.

It comes to the conclusion that, despite the benefits of innovation and digitization, they are not a panacea that can solve all the emerging problems of today's business, and in many cases are a limiting factor.

The article deals with the problems of strategic development of tourism in the economy of the Russian regions. These problems arise in the period of transition from regulatory functions of the market ...to the management of long-term development based on the strategic objectives and flagship projects that can achieve these goals in practice. In such a case, the tourism sector of the regional economy is suggested to be considered not within the narrow framework of the tour operator and hotel business activity as it takes place in Russia, but on the much broader scale involving 50 branches of the modern economy as it is increasingly used worldwide. The authors’ hypothesis comes from the fact that in modern conditions, the development and implementation of the strategies of the recreation and tourism industries in the Russian regions can only be effective through the creation and promotion of large diversified knowledge-based competitive regional tourism products at new technological level. The paper clearly demonstrates the group methods of regional strategic planning such as brainstorming and foresight (forecasting and future shaping). The results of the research substantiate not only the need to amend the legislative framework and the current management system of the Russian tourism, to actively elaborate and implement the regional development strategies, to carry out tourism development studies aimed at its commercial success but also the importance of convincing representation of the civilizational advantages of the Russian world and Russian civilization through the tourism.
