  • The question of human rights in the everyday life of children in kindergartens from the aspect of "hidden curriculum"
    Bregar-Golobič, Ksenija
The introduction of the aspects of fundamental human rights in everyday life of children in kindergartens is a new starting point of the most recent curricular reform of the Slovene kindergartens. An ... important part here is an extended understanding of the curriculum, i. e. whenever there is a curriculum, there is always already a hidden curriculum (Apple) and the so called microphysics of power (Foucalt). Based on this new, critical perspectives, the article briefly presents some of the most important curricular changes, as they were carried out in the experimental kindergarten unit "Kindergarten Under Castle". It exposes two areas - rest and sleep on theone hand and toilet habits on the other - which are perhaps among the most sensitive ones in everyday life in kindergarten.
