  • Zdržljivost upogibnih nosilcev iz hibridnih kovinsko-nekovinskih materialov : doktorsko delo
    Miklavec, Matej, 1984-
The doctoral thesis presents the methodology for the development of load-bearing components made from hybrid metal-nonmetal materials. With a properly designed metal insert, a superior bond between ... the metal and the polymer can be achieved by the use of standard processing technology. This results in higher stiffness, strength and safety of the load bearing components. The thesis presents the procedure for designing the geometrical joints and the methodology for experimental and numerical evaluation of these joints. The presented methodology was validated on specifically designed geometrical joints between a sheet metal insert (S420MC) and the PA6-GF60 polyamide. For the hybrid joints, static tensile and experimental durability experiments were performed as well as numerical simulations of the load-carrying capacity of these joints and bending beams. The most appropriate shape of the hybrid joint was chosen for integration in the hybrid bending beams.
