    Circadian rhythm participates in numerious physiological processes. It is involved in regulation of body temperature, blood pressure, secretion of hormones ect.. Disorders in synchronisation of ... circadian rhythm direcly influences growth of cancer cells through inhibition of melatonin synthesis. Knowledge of circadian rhythm is important also in chronomedicine, which purpose is to assure successfulness of disease treatment with minimum side effects.
