Simulation of abrasive water jet cutting processes based on unit event features

Abrasive water jet (AWJ) cutting is a strongly non-linear process. Despite a large number of models developed so far, the mechanisms governing the AWJ cutting are not clarified enough. Especially the ...surface texture creation, which is so important in AWJ, is not revealed yet. This paper presenets a framework of the proposed AWJ cutting process model and it's implementation on a three dimensional simulation based on discrete events.
